The staff were super friendly. The store was clean and cozy and had many seats. I got peach tea, and it was super delicious. Highly recommend!

Koi Cha was a random find for me. I was out running errands and the hunger pangs hit while on a boba kick. Lo and behold, Yelp helped me find this spot to take care of both my needs. The inside is nice and cute and reminded me of some spots from Chinatown. Staff was friendly so I let them pick what I got. I ended up with the Koi Cha Cream Tea with boba and some spicy popcorn chicken. The tea was very tasty and refreshing. The popcorn chicken fit right into my cup holder and was easy to munch on while running my errands. The chicken was hot and crispy and perfectly spiced. I love finding random spots that I never had bookmarked. It just shows how awesome our food scene is in Houston!

If you play with your boba then this can be your TOY CHA If you want a lovely drink, this can bring you JOY CHA If your name is Scheider, this can be your ROY CHA And if you're in Southbelt, get yourself to KOI CHA If you are a vegetarian, just ask for SOY CHA Don't be shy, just say what you want, don't be COY CHA You'll get big and strong just like Brad Pitt in TROY CHA And all because you came to get your boba on at KOI CHA If you're not actually a boba fan, it's all a PLOY CHA But if you are, you'll love this one, cause it's the Real MCCOY CHA It's the best Boba shop from Ipanema to ILLINOIS CHA So when in Houston, you have to go to KOI CHA WHAT One of Houston's loveliest Boba shops, and one which I am proud to call myself a regular visitor to. The owners are wonderful people, and the drinks they make are wonderful too. Paul Simon said there's no need to be Koi, Roy. But there is a need to be Koi Cha, especially if you're in Houston and want Boba, and that's regardless of whether your name's Roy or not. One of the best Boba shops in the Houston area, especially if you look at all the ones that aren't in the Chinatown area. Koi Cha is really dominating the Southbelt area in terms of excellent Boba, and wonderful ownership too, and delicious drinks, and definitely some of the most awesome and memorable decor of any boba shop that we've been to in the Houston area. They even sell their super cute boba plush toys, way too adorable! If you date a lineman then it might be WICHI-KOI-TA If you want a lot of wives, it's probably KOI-UTAH If you wanna be a fancy bird, it's KOI-MACAW But if you want the best boba, come to KOI CHA And if you want a homophobic World Cup, it's KOI QATAR If you wanna Take On Me, it's probably KOI A-HA If you wanna not have a baby, just KOI WITHDRAW But if you want the best boba, come to KOI CHA And if you want desire, then it's named KOI STREETCAR If you want more kitty cat pix, it's KOI PAW If you're Thin Lizzy, then it's Whiskey In The KOI JAR But if you want the best boba, come to KOI CHA If you want a more liberal Iran, it's KOI SHAH But if you want a less liberal Iran, it's KOI FATWA And if you're in Iran, it really isn't JEFFREE KOI STAR But if you want the best boba, come to KOI CHA If you wanna get drunk, go instead to a KOI BAR If you live nowhere near Houston, this location's too KOI FAR Unless you don't mind a nice ride in your KOI CAR To come and get a Boba here at KOI CHA If they get all hipster they might serve drinks in a Mason KOI JAR If the sharp end of the straw cuts your face, you'll get a KOI SCAR I like to take slutty picture here, along with my Porn KOI STAR But if you want the best bobas, come to KOI CHA WHAT Koi Cha. We're definitely talking about one of the better places in the Greater Houston area for Boba. We're also talking about some of the nicest owners of any of the places that I've been, and I look forward to coming back here many times in the future for this reason. Now for some more rapping, but while you're reading, get here ASAP. But don't crash. Don't text and drive. Or read Yelp and drive. Or something. After lunch my husband wanted boba and we came across this cute little gem on Google. It's in a small business strip center, the decor is very modern and hip, they also have a couple of seating areas where you can do some photo ops. There's also some board games to place if you want to stay and hangout. They seem to have a large variety of teas, as well as toppings. Not only do they offer teas, but they have small bites as well, such as takoyaki, popcorn chicken, Korean corn dogs, Vietnamese eggrolls, shrimp tempura, cajun seasoned fries, macarons, and Japanese fruit sandos. I ended up ordering their strawberry matcha milk tea with traditional tapioca and he got the lychee on lychee with aloe Vera. I absolutely enjoyed my drink, and the strawberry puree that was on the bottom seemed fresh. My husband enjoyed his drink as well and said it was very refreshing. Koi Cha seems like a nice little spot to kick back and enjoy some boba tea with a snack along with some good company, we will definitely be coming back!

Found this place by chance and fell in love with their teas. My sister got the taro smoothie with boba and she said it's the best taro she ever had. I ordered their koi signature milk tea and boy the taste gave me nostalgia of a boba shop in MN with their "golden milk tea" taste. Their boba is soft and slightly too chewy for me. Everything else was amazing and we will definitely be back to try out more flavors and food items!

Recommended place for boba and hangout with your friend in south Houston. I love the peach green tea thmost.

(I was at a different restaurant when I took this picture)

Very nice place to hang out, good service, plenty of options (drinks and snacks). Btw everything is delicious and the service is wonderful

Really good Kumquat Coconut juice, recommend with boba

The kumquat Coconut juice is good and is light so you don't feel heavy afterwards. Not too sweet at all. Clean shop with friendly staff and board games

Every drink was thoughtfully made and looked just as good as it tasted. The presentation is beautiful, making it one of those places where you almost don't want to drink it because it's so pretty. We tried several drinks, and each one was unique. Our absolute favorites were Purple Rain--light, refreshing, and paired perfectly with lychee jelly--and Taro Ocean, which put a fun twist on the traditional taro drink by adding graham crackers at the bottom. That little addition was such a surprise and honestly made the drink unforgettable. You can tell the menu is crafted with creativity, and it makes you want to come back to try everything. All the drinks are customizable. Service was quick, and overall ordering was very easy. Overall, Happie Boba Shop nails it across the board: delicious and inventive drinks, a clean and comfortable environment, and easy access. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, refreshing, and satisfying boba experience.

While I have only eaten here a couple times, I have been…read moreshopping here for my vitamin supplements for 12 years, as long as I have lived in Friendswood. I am a degreed nutritionist and have been interested in nutrition since a teen. I have had many conversations with store owner, Mike Weichman. He has always been able to answer my nutrition questions, help me with my supplement needs and steer me to the right nutritional solution usually with several options. He sells medical grade supplements here, the brands my functional doctors recommend. I found it much more convenient to purchase supplements here than a trip to the doctors office. He takes on clients for a one on one consultation if you have specific health problems. Functional medicine helps to identify and solve your health issues with nutrition, unlike a prescription medication that treats only symptoms. I find it very difficult to get all the nutrients I need from the food I eat so I find supplementation as an aid to get those nutrients into my diet. I feel for most vitamin supplementation, quality does make a difference, so most of my supplements are medical grade from two manufacturers sold in the store. But Mike can make suggestions for all budgets. I've know Mike for a while and he always gives me a big hug when he sees me in the store. I'm just sorry I haven't taken the time to write a review sooner. Michelle T./ MAT in the City- Friendswood
