She told me that the cloths on the wall are all $9.95 and the price of the others. I immediately found something that stood out and was the perfect size. And it was on the $9.95 wall. Sounds like a perfect experience. Not! When I went up to the counter I told her I found something that stood out. She said that is great! In such a fake voice. There was a young employee there and as the manager was processing the transaction, she was talking down to her and telling her what to do as she was supposed to know. I could see that the girl was embarrassed and I felt bad for her. This made me uncomfortable. What I would like to say to this manager, is micromanaging does not work! Google it! This young girl would make a better manager as maybe she already has more experience on how to treat people. I will most likely never go there again because of this experience. She was rude, fake and something I never want to encounter again. To the girl that was working there: I hope you find a job where you are respected honey! All the best to you!

Maurice's is a fantastic store to get trendy (but will also last through the various crazy fashions…read moreand won't look outdated) casual, business casual, and special event attire. I love this location because I feel they always have a size run in the newest styles, whereas other locations may be sold out of an item - and similar items - in a particular size. Anytime I'm in the mood for a new outfit for work, every day, or vacation, I head to Maurice's. They also have cute jewelry and shoes. Catch them at the right time and they have amazing clearance sales! I often have a difficult time envisioning outfits, and Maurice's does a superb job with their mannequins and displays. I usually end up purchasing the outfit/items on display and sometimes right off the mannequin. The sales associates, particularly at this location, are very friendly and helpful; I like how they offer suggestions once they see what you are looking for, and if you aren't having any luck in the fitting room. If you are just browsing, they are not pushy - which I really appreciate! This store is, on average, pricey than Kohl's. However, the items are of better quality and are targeted to being a more "timeless" fashion rather than what's hot right now. I have gotten *so* many compliments on my work outfits that I purchased from this store; and even after years of wash and wear, they still look great. If you can't tell, I'm definitely a fan!

I rarely can walk out without at least one item! They run great sales and many times I find items that are brand new still with tags. Hyping up fitting room try-ons and also today was really helpful with my friend suggestion some jewelry pieces helping her with figuring out if she was a silver or gold person. The prices are more than like a Goodwill but you're getting items that you could have just picked up in the store basically and they also have top brands and even boutique items. There is also a small men's selection and a great selection of purses if your looking for a name brand purse and not name brand price and they are such good quality you wouldn't know some of them were even used!

Today, like the last few times I have been to your store, the same bratty little sales associate has been there. Today, July 30, the young lady with brunette hair tucked up in a bun was a nightmare. Now, I am not a stickler for customer service, but for the love, child, say hello to your patrons. I had my hands full of merchandise and not once did she ask if she could start me a dressing room. I had to run out during my "try-on" session and still nothing. She didn't check on me once and I was so annoyed by the end of trying things on, the pieces I liked I chose not to purchase. All she had to do was acknowledge me. I guess my $400.00 just wasn't welcomed. I'm not sure that I will visit any more after my last few experiences. Definitely worth checking out for unique pieces as well as every day staples.

I haven't been inside, but they like nice spots to take a break. Generally, no one bothers you as you browse unless you ask for help. I've found it a bit hard to get help on the makeup counters, with some counters being unmanned. I do feel like the staff odd a bit snobbish. Not so much when I am well dressed and carrying a Chanel bag, but when I was running in to grab something quick and dressed in sweats. Just a general feeling rather than at specific counters. So I do feel somewhat self conscious shopping here. There's an unseen dress code of sorts. Overall, clean, lots of space and easy experience.

Recently I visited and the quality of the clothing here is still high. When I was there, they were running a coat special: drop off your old coat for donation and get $20 off your purchase. I knew I had a couple of items I could donate, so I went home, picked up my old coats, and came back for my $20 off. In the back of the store is a "discount room" where you can find items on sale. There is men's, women's and children's clothing here, but the biggest selection is for women. I want to shout out to a couple of employees who provided excellent service recently. I dropped off an elderly relative while I finished an errand a few doors down. By the time I came back (which wasn't too long), they had helped her by bringing her a few items she wanted and had brought items to try on in different sizes, and she was already in the fitting room trying on items. They were wonderful. Dawn and Caroline, I think were their names, so shout out to them for their kindness and attentiveness! They made the shopping experience enjoyable and we are likely to come back because of them. Excellent customer is one way to differentiate yourself. Also, I want to mention that everything in the store was 40% off that day. With the $40 off our purchase with the two donated coats, we ended up with an excellent value. I have been shopping at Lands End for over 20 years. This was our go-to for winter coats for years. The coats are great for kids and adults. The clothing is classic, not trendy, and high quality. So for "Thank You Thursday" today I want to say thank you to Lands End for your excellent service!!

It is the best made clothing, of course not but if you need something for one time or a season only, it's a great place to shop. Back in the day, Dots was known as the $10 store where everything was $10 or less - that is not the case anymore by far but they are still pretty reasonable. I can go in and find nothing or leave there spending $100 easily with BAGS of stuff from shoes, to accessories, clothing or coats. I bought a pair of boots not that long ago and I love them. They are like the generic version of Uggs and they are warm and cozy. I lost a button on one and went in to see if they had anymore or any buttons I could buy. They did not but the girl working there offered to take my boots and have me put on a new pair and she was sending mine back to corporate as damaged because I didn't have them that long and the button fell off. I was shocked and in disbelief. Are you serious? I said to her. Sure thing, she took my boots, I put on a brand new pair and she even cut off a couple of buttons off my old pair so I had back ups if needed. I bought another pair of the same boots in a different color and walked out with 2 new pairs for the price of one. WOW - Now THAT is customer service! This was a rare event and I really appreciate this sales person going out of her way to help me on this. There are other sales people there I just hate seeing when I walk in the door because they are extremely pushing and rude but this one was just too kind. Great coupon offers too!
