Kohl's has changed greatly since it came to the Pacific Northwest in the early 2000's. Bargains everywhere. Coupons worked on most, if not all, products. They had good sales, especially on the weekends. Fast forward to now. Practically not shoppable now. The only thing that has not changed is getting hammered for a Kohl's card with an interest rate over 30%. Too many items that coupons won't work with. Too many brands have been discontinued. Poor selection for male shoppers, particularly. Stores are poorly staffed, checking out is a nightmare, and customer service is nonexistent. The last time we were in was on a Saturday around 11 am. There was two people working the floor. Neither said a word to us nor asked if we needed any help. No one in the jewelry department and one cashier. read more

Looks like they're going through a much-needed store renovation. Haven't been in the store for quite a while and to my surprise they are giving it a facelift. So the store is pretty inviting a lot of the women's clothes of being consolidated in one Tyler area until the remodel is completed. Not sure how long the project is going to take but I like what I see so far. read more

Went in and nobody was working the floor. NOBODY AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE. Customer service is non- existent. They put the return area all the way in the back. I will never shop or recommend this store to anyone. I see this one closing. What a joke. read more

Used to be an ok experience when they had more than one place to check out. Now you have to go to the ONLY cashier station and ALWAYS wait in a long line. It's truly annoying. More than once I get what I want and walk over to cashier and see 12-15 people in line. read more

It's been almost 2 years and they have been going through a "cart shortage" the whole time. It is so inconvenient to bring babies in and have to wait for someone to be done shopping In order to get a cart to be able to set the little ones down in.. we have been in to shop close to 15 times in the last year and it's the same battle every. Single. Time. We have enjoyed the customer service at the register only as that is the only real place we find it. Aside from that I Always find clothes for myself. Once again I'm disappointed at this store. Horrible selection the inventory for 4 different items I was looking for was all but none. Prices were not on the items but they were supposed to be on sale. As for getting help for what I was looking for and receiving help well there's none at this store in East Vancouver, Washington. Kohn's has made a reappearance my life recently. I do have Amazon to thank for that, now that you can bring Amazon Prime returns in and they will ship them off for you. I actually think it's a really smart marketing strategy for Kohl's. Go in to mail a return, get a 20% coupon incentive to shop, and check out what's in store. One downside is you really have to check what that coupon will get you. I found a really nice UnderArmor jacket I wanted, but it's considered a luxury line item so the coupon wasn't even applicable. And that's after I got excited about the sweater and already decided I would buy it. I have found this Kohl's to be pretty clean and checking out isn't ever too stressful. The customer service desk however tends to be slow and the service staff could be a little friendlier. The clothing variety is still what it always has been to me. Women's fashion is nearly null there, but the kids clothes are cute and affordable. Women's shoes is hit or miss. It's worth a gander when you're in there for home appliances or to return an Amazon product. read more

Went to Kohl's last night for the Grandchildren's school clothes. The bill came to 627.00, yikes! For us that's a huge amount of money but their clothes last until they are outgrown or 6 months down the road so I don't mind paying it. Problem is I didn't get Kohl's cash after it was rang up, I went back today. They had to refund everything line by line then recharge me line by line. I saved 20.00 dollars and got 110.00 in Kohl's cash!!! I'm so happy!! FYI, it's worth saying I dont even have a Kohl's credit card! read more

The store itself is good with discounts and cash bonuses but going there is pain, good luck trying to find jeans your size when it's all messed up. No, I do not want a Kohl's credit card...really I don't. I have had multiple cashiers push the credit card on me more than 3 times per transaction, it has to be part of their training. And when on the 3rd time I give an annoyed look/tone I have been back-talked to by two of their cashiers. The push for retail credit cards/email addresses is ridiculous and a burden that should not be put on cashiers but nowhere have I ever encountered such pushback as at Kohl's. They should be ashamed by whatever pressure they are putting on their staff that makes them push customers so hard. read more

Kohl's is a store I'd heard about a lot growing up but never went to. My family is all from the midwest - where it originated. Though I've been in there once before this was my first trip with a purpose! To me this store is in the middle class-wise of Penny's and Macy's. It is seeminly organized yet over run with clothes that are out of place and entertaining dressing room. I worked in retail for a long time and I'm always astonished when there isn't an attendant because people leave stuff EVERYWHERE! According to my recipet I saved $51 bucks. I bought a dress and an in-oven termometer. I feel I'm more likely to go back because of the baking and kitchen supplies than the clothes but they do sell Levi's! read more

This isn't a place I shop on purpose. It's close to my office and I go here for convenience for gifts, etc. My last visit was spurred by the Kohl's cash someone donated me. I found a few pretty good deals. I like how I always save at least 100% of what I spent. That's how they get you to come back. Feel good points for sure, Kohls! read more

Disappointed. Shopping in the store and found exactly what I was looking for in the shoe department. I scanned our purchase in the shoe department to find a great sale price however when we went to check out it was a $10 higher price. When we inquired as to why we were informed the price scanned in the shoe department was online only price. WHY would you offer different pricing?? Black Friday was a bust here. They didn't have much of what was in the ad. I wanted to buy one item which they were out of so I opted for another item which was more expensive. The item although not jewelry was in that section. The counter had two sales people there not helping anyone. When I asked to be helped they said they could only help with jewelry. I need to wait in line. An hours wait. Hm. Seems they could of helped a single item. Not worth my time to wAit in line for a pair of 20 dollar gloves. This is a department store where you can buy anything from clothes to house appliances. I mainly shop here for clothes and shoes for my growing family. The prices are good and the quality is also good. My nephew loves that they now carry "skater" brands in clothing and also converse/vans shoes. I like that the prices are right and he is able to get 2 pairs at a time. read more

Love Kohls, they have a good variety of clothes at very decent prices, and the sales are hard to beat. The clothes they have are really nice and of fairly goof quality. I have clothes I have bought there a few years ago and they are still in great condition. I am a big fan of shopping here, you can get a lot for less and the clothes are nice, in styles and good quality. I also like that they are open late. I have some anxiety disorders due to a car accident so I am not a fan of being in a store when it is busy. I have never had a bad experience with the people who work there, they are all nice and helpful. One downside is that they only have a few check out lines so it can get frustrating if you have to wait, even later. I also wish they had a better shoe selection, it is a hit or miss. I cannot really wear heals so I have to go with flats and the selections are really there, If you love boots and heals you will be happy. They also have bags, jewelry, home and house decor, so this is a pretty good place to shop for just about anything. I haven't shopped in their home section often so I can't really say how the variety is there, but from what I have seen it seems like they have a lot. The jewelry is unbeatable, they always have sales going on there, and I have gotten some pretty cool stuff. It has always been clean, sometimes the clearance and sales racks can get messy but I think that is to be expected, not that big of a deal, still easy to look through and also it would be hard to keep up with that everytime a customer goes through it and drops stuff (people can be very careless and rude), so that is not somthing I blame on the employees. Great place for bargains ranging from clothes, housewares, and everything in between. Seems like there isn't anything Kohls does not sell! Their general retail prices are decent, but definitely recommend signing up for Kohls online coupons. If you have a good email filter in place, they usually route straight to spam, so I periodically search my Spam folder for the most recent coupon before I stop by. They usually have decent offers - $10 off $30 purchase or a 15% - 30% off total purchase. Definitely worth using a coupon! read more

Kohls has name brand clothes that are over priced. The only fun part, and really how they get people to come in is there awesome clearance which if you also get their credit card you get up to 30% you can use on the clearance as well. Only thing is now, kohls has become greedy with their over priced clothes. They decided to change their "policy" of what you can and can not use you coupon on. There phone customer service SUCKS.
