I don't normally shop at Kohl's but I saw a good deal on their Fitbit. I purchased it online today and then picked it up a few hours later. When I got home and took the box out of the bag I noticed the box was open and dirty. The watch fell out and the plastic that was supposed to be holding it fell out as well. The box inside had multiple coffee and dirt stains and the wrist band on both sides were dirty. I drove back to the store and told customer service about it. The store associate there said she was the one who boxed it. She noticed the box was open, but thought it was returned without being used. I'm confused...if an item has been opened and then returned, shouldn't it be considered used? I don't understand how the dirt on the box and the obvious dirt on the wrist band was missed. Anyway they had one more of the color I wanted and I didn't have a problem exchanging it for a new one. read more

This place is obviously not managed properly. They didn't get enough employees hired for the xmas season. The bad part is it's technically not even the xmas season. It's the beginning of November. I just don't understand. The Kohl's corporate should come here and reprimand the management staff for the look of this store. Every single department was totally messed up. Kohl's should be embarrassed that this store represents them. I am not happy. And am leaving here empty handed. I couldn't believe I can't find anything. I do not have much to say about Khols other that when they have sales.. they have SALES! Oh that Item is on sale for 50% off... but wait.. this weekend if you are a Kohl's card carrier you can get an additional percentage off.. and they Mean it! We have gotten so many items for about 20% of the original price (as in 80% off) that it's a very lucrative place to do holiday shopping. Shop here. Great deals. Great sales on top of sales. I absolutely love Kohl's but this specific store was quite disappointing. It has been a long time since I have been out shopping due to Covid and I was so excited to get some new clothes for my new job. This store was an absolute mess. Everything was just tossed on the shelves and racks. It made shopping less than enjoyable because it was quite difficult to find the things I was looking for. I have definitely seen better at other stores. The unorganization of this store makes me want to not shop there. read more

This place is PATHETIC! My wife and I went shopping here, and picked up a few items. My beef is with the pushy and often rude checkout people at the register. Can we just purchase what we want (in CASH, no less) without you jerkoffs being overly assertive in pushing your KOHL's credit cards on us??!! One of my favorite stores to shop in Strongsville! Always find the best deals at this store, plus the Kohl's cash can't be beat. For those that are unfamiliar, they give you $10 in Kohl's cash for every $50 that you spend. Recently I bought a steam cleaner that cost $149.99 everywhere else, & I only paid $80.00 at Kohl's, plus I received cash towards a future purchase! I also buy all my shoes from here because with the Kohl's cash I end up paying zero for a brand new pair of shoes. This store has everything including clothes, jewelry, gifts, kitchen, bath, shoes, toys, & more. I highly recommend the Strongsville store! read more

I'd give 0 stars if that was an option. This review isn't specific to any one store, rather to Kohl's customer service in general. I attempted to make my Kohl's charge payment on my due date and was locked out of my account. The error alert stated that I had the wrong username and password, which is odd since it is literally saved to my phone. It gave me a one time validation code via email, which i copied and pasted. Again I was told that it was wrong and I was locked out of my account for several hours. This was at night so there was no way to fix the issue. Shady! Of course I received a late fee for the late payment. I'm not a fan of Kohl's as it is, I don't fall for the Kohl's cash gimmick. Never again will I shop there. Horrible customer service and shady business ethics. read more

Never really been a fan of Kohl's. Mediocre quality and selection. The stores are always a mess. But when I moved to Strongsville I thought I would give them a chance. I found the kitchen item I was looking for on their website and it said the item was available in the store. So, off I go to the store, searched the kitchen section with no apparent logic to its organization and couldn't find it. Asked an sales associate and showed her the item on their app on my phone. After looking at the same wall of unorganized gadgets, and asking another associate, she announces they've never heard of it. When I ask what would happen if I placed the online order to pick up 'in store' she just stares at me. No wonder they have to offer big markdowns and Kohl's cash. I will not be back. read more

The racks are unshoppable by 10 am. When I finally did find something, I took it to the cashier and she double charged me (which I didn't catch until after I had paid). She didn't apologize and sent me to customer service unceremoniously. I paid with a debit card (put my pin in and everything) and should've been given the option for a cash refund for the overcharged item (the sole purpose of using debit!) I wasn't given that option and instead, the customer service rep shoved my receipt back at me and said "it'll be refunded to your card". When I said I paid debit, he was argumentative and said "yeah and it will be refunded probably by the end of the day".... I worked at a bank. It takes days for refunds to be applied to a card! I will NEVER visit this location again!!!! read more

Great at first, I had purchased a Kitchenaid Mixer on Sunday 5/18/2015. It was on sale from $449.00 to $349.00. I had a 30% off coupon (good for 5/18 - 25/2015). Now down to $249.99. You also received a $30.00 mail in rebate, so now you are down to 214.99, the for every $50.00 you received $10.00 kohls cash so that was $40.00. So this is a great deal. BUT the catch is - if you use the Kohls cash they have given you for a purchase and you have a discount coupon, the discount will not count. As I found out today. I had a 20% off coupon and $40.00 in Kohls cash. I bought some rugs and when I looked at the receipt there was no discount taken off but I did have around $5.00 left of the $40.00 in kohls cash. (The items should have come up to $27.97 before tax added on. Even with tax it should have only been $30.21 not $37.97. I went back into the store and proceeded to ask the cashier why. She was not very pleasant. She stated she did not "want to deal with me" so she called the manager. I explained that when the kohls cash and discount are together the cashier does not tell the customer anything about it and neither does Kohls. They should let the customer know you will lose your discount when using the Kohls cash. How many of you actually check your receipt? The manger was very nice when I explained what was going on and I think to keep me quite, he issued a $20.00 in kohls cash. Which I used and got out of there. When they send out those discount coupons they should say in large letters at the top that YOU WILL NOT GET THE DISCOUNT IF YOU USE YOU KOHLS CASH. They seem to have the discount along with giving you the kohls cash. So you will thin you are getting a better deal, but check your receipts and what you are paying. I am not really good with words, but don't let companies try to blind side you. So buyer beware - check your receipts - Have a great summer. read more
