took my granddaughter shopping and as she was in the dressing room I waited outside the area and noticed a man and woman walking back. I told the man he couldn't go back there and I felt uncomfortable him doing that. He called me a Karen and I pointed out the sign stating women and children only! He went back anyway and I went and got an employee. the employee came but she ended up apologizing to him when he said he was just with his wife. I told her I was not comfortable with that being the dressing room door didn't even latch!! she ignored me! I went and got an assistant manager who did go back and offered them a handicapped stall away from the dressing area but they refused and she allowed him to stay in the room. called corporate and was told they do not have designated rooms for gender And no signs!!! I told her there WAS a sign!! for a company to lie to me to my face when I have photos, is quit concerning. I was told not to put it on social media but why???? I was told she would send me in writing their policy which they did not do! this company is WOKE and does Not have the safety and well being of women, and young girls in their stores . The store manager who. asked me admitted they do not have enough personal to monitor dressing rooms. I'm in trouble. Big trouble. I was super excited when I learned that Slidell was getting a Kohl's. This department store has it all. Upscale makeup, super cute clothes at affordable prices, household furnishings and appliances, jewelry and even greeting cards. Need a baby gift? The baby department is large and has plenty of great clothes and toys that would be perfect for a gift. When I went here to check it out soon after the grand opening I was greeted by a nice employee who offered me a coupon for twenty percent off just for applying for a credit card. And not boring plain clothes, but fashionable, quality pieces that will make you stand out in the work place. The store was very organized and easy to shop in. The clearance racks were organized well too. Clean dressing rooms. Prices were very decent, and most things were on sale. They also give coupons to credit card holders so she got 30% off, saving over $200. Wish it was closer to where we live, but it was definitely worth the drive out to Slidell! read more

I visited Kohl's on 11/30 to use my Kohl's cash before it expired. My kids could use some more masks so I decided to make this an intentional trip specifically for that. I drove from New Orleans to Slidell because most masks don't fit well my PreK kid well, but Bespoke has cute patterns with adjustable straps so I always am willing to make the trip. Got to the store and saw that the masks which are originally priced at 9.99 and usually go for 7.99 were on sale for 4.99! Can we say SAVINGS!? So I decided to get more. When I went to checkout, I checked my offers and saw a coupon for an additional 20% off any purchase! I got to Sheri and she began checking my items out. Kohl's Cash, no problem. But she told me I couldn't use my coupon on the masks because they were "prestige" items. I suggested just trying it, but she then goes on about how someone tried to use it earlier on the same thing and it was denied. I'm baffled, but I check out. I go to my car, replaying this over in my head because I've spent too much money in Kohl's (lol) and have gotten only masks several times before. Never has this happened. So I went back in and asked for a return so we could try the coupon with my order like I asked before because I'm aware of all the exclusions and read the list thoroughly at Kohls.com/exclusions while in my car, "prestige" items didn't appear. So she does it, again going on about how it won't work and she's done this already today. Her attitude couldn't go unnoticed and she was literally trying to demean me for wanting to try the coupon. She asked for the coupon first, which isn't protocol, and scans it. Her silence was deafening because it worked. I told her I had never had this happen before and maybe the previous customer had an expired coupon. But she insisted she was absolutely right, refused to apologize for how she acted and sent us on our way. Now, Kohl's may not have lost me as a customer, but I absolutely refuse to be checked out by Sheri ever again. I could've easily gotten out of my character for her behavior, but I would never ESPECIALLY in my letters. She really could use a refresher course in customer service because it never hurts to try something again. read more

I can't stop shopping at Kohls! I keep getting coupons in the mail, online..even text messages. The best part is that they're stackable...most of them anyway. Then I still earn more savings with their Kohls cash. They have lots of name brand items. The staff is really great too. There isn't too much to choose from in each dept in store but you can go online and find more stuff. The store is always clean and orderly and the bathrooms are even cleaner. My favorite dept is their jewelry dept. Really nice stuff! Its hard not to want to buy bling at each visit. I also love the savings I get when I buy shoes. With the Kohls cash, and sale going on, I managed to buy a pair of classic Vans tennis shoes I have had my eyes on for a little more than half the price. I also like their charge card. The minimum payment is always $27. I pay more every month of course...but there are times when the budget is tight and I feel at ease knowing I can just pay the minimum and I won't brake the bank. Do not come to this store looking for clothes unless you are ken and barbie. The manager (the one with blue hair) told me that Kohl's will no longer be carrying big and tall menswear anymore you have to order it online all the stores are going to eliminate the stock so you might want to think about shopping at JCPenneys. I love shopping at my local Khols in fremaux shopping center. The employees are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They will do anything within their power to make sure your shopping experience is a pleasant one. All the merchandise is unreachable positions and not high up like at some stores where you where you have to get a reluctant associate to help you retrieve items that are stacked way too high. This is a problem that never exist at my local Khols. If you want a truly wonderful shopping experience that you will enjoy stress-free, please try the store at Fremaux Shopping Center. I absolutely love this place. I must admit I didn't exactly like the store at first. They didn't have a lot of things when I went twice before, I felt like it was more or less picked through and very unorganized. I didn't actually find something I liked until visiting the Covington store and that's when I decided to give the Slidell location another try. One of their best kept secrets is their rewards program. You get $5 khols cash for every $100 you spend and you have about a week or two to use it because they do expire. But you use it exactly as the name says, cash. I spent $500 there from my Christmas money and ended up getting a double promo for joining the same day and I got $50 khols cash. I ended up going back a week and a half later and getting 5 tops for $1.61!!!! Also they have an app you can download for free and it's great use for in the store. It comes with a built in scanner that allows you to scan things on sale so you know their actual price going to the register. Staff is very friendly and I especially like the fact that they have kids clothes, men's, shoes, housewares, and clothes for myself as well!! Great store, you just have to know when to shop and never buy anything at full price. read more

Kohls is the perfect example of deceptive retail. I received a gift and it had a price tag on the box at $305. I couldn't use the item so I decided to return it for store credit since I didn't have the receipt. On the Kohls website the price was $99. In the store they told me I would get $69 in store credit. I have an item in my hand with a $305 price tag and they are willing to give me $69! This is clearly deceptive retail at it's finest. Mark an item at a high price, discount it and they offer you every coupon in the book to make you think you're getting a deal. How can you trust this retailer? All of their stuff is overpriced and after coupons, points and discounts, you actually paid normal price. The items that actually have a hard value such as Video Game Consoles, Cosmetics, and other electronics do not work with coupons or discounts. When you go to Kohls you are over paying for merchandise. They want you to feel like you got a deal and saved a bunch on money when actually you probably paid more. Retail stores are wondering why Amazon and online retail are killing brick and mortar stores. This is the perfect example. I ended up walking around Kohls and decided I wasn't going to give them a cent more than my store credit so I kept the store credit. I really don't care to ever walk into another Kohls again unless I'm absolutely desperate! read more

The majority of the staff were accessible, quite helpful, and courteous. The store looks top notch and the grand opening sales were a delight. I've had a Kohl's credit card for quite some time. I suggest you consider signing up for the card so as to receive the additional discounts in store and through mail that enhance the shopping experience. At the moment, they're offering some scratch off discounts when making a purchase with a Kohl's card! Upon entering the store, an employee immediately assisted me. In the process, however, a manager (with a tag of five years experience) approached her with a coarse attitude. As a customer, it made me uncomfortable to witness crass treatment from one coworker to another. She took it in stride though and finished assisting me. After checkout, I had an encounter with the same manager. He spoke to me from across the room before walking over to help. He assisted me adequately, yet his demeanor again made me feel uncomfortable. He seemed irritated, distrusting, and impatient. I am always greeted upon entering the store. Sales people are very helpful and the store is pretty neat. Parking is not an issue. They have good prices on items, with a lot of sales. They do not hesitate to provide a coupon code or scan one by the register. I shop here at least three times a month and have never had a bad experience. Great return policy, no questions asked. Very good clothing quality with clothing items that are not duplicated at other establishments. One of my top stores to visit. read more
