I really like this Dillard's outlet. They have a lot of sales and discounts. I went in July and saw mostly winter clothes, but there were also nice dresses. Some are fancy, some are casual, and some you can wear to church or in summer. There were also jeans and everyday clothes. The prices were very good. Some clothes that were $68 were only $23 after discount. Overall, it's a good place to shop if you want cheap prices and don't mind looking around. This place is really overstock for the regular dillards or just what doesn't sell. They have tshirts, shoes, polo shirts, dress shirts and a few other casual (everyday) clothing to find in here. Some days they have good stuff, other days it's just okay. You would have to stop in a few times to understand what I'm saying. Hit or miss with good prices and clothing. read more

Vast selection! But can be a bit overwhelming if you're not used to budget shopping. I get a few things before they closed. I wish I came earlier to spend more take my time. Until someone pointed it out to me, I didn't realize how many plaid shirts I owned. Since that gave me a bit of a complex, I headed to Dillard's to shop. This Dillard's is located in the Slidell Mall. It is closer to me than the one at Lakeside, but while they do share some similarities, there are also some distinct differences. This Dillard's had an excellent selection of men's clothing. They had a plethora of famous designer stuff as well as their store brand. I perused for what seemed like an hour before I picked out a few items to try on. That's when I realized the first major difference in the stores. The dressing rooms at this store are awful. The doors were beat up looking and had no way to secure the door. At first I thought that might be a anti-theft security feature, but I realized the door wouldn't even shut all the way. I was basically at the mercy of the other customers if they decided they wanted to come in and sneak a quick peak, nothing would have stopped them. I lucked out and was able to change without being walked in on. Check out was quick and efficient. My cashier was very friendly and security conscious. When I told her I wanted to wear the clothes I bought out of the store, she called to someone (security I guess) and told them that was my plan. I appreciated that extra step as it likely prevented me from being tackled on the way out of the door. I almost forgot to mention the most important part of this review. Of all the shirts I tried on this day, I still bought another plaid one. I guess some people have a color they like, and for me, that color is plaid. Pros: Great bargains on new, brand-name clothing can be found. That's... really about it. Parking is easy, but that's because the mall is mostly abandoned. Cons: It's like a giant Goodwill store, but pricier. You never know what's in stock and clothes are sorted haphazardly, so you spend a *lot* of time just digging through the racks. The dressing rooms that are open are filthy - I wouldn't want my feet to touch that carpet, even with socks on - and there are former dressing rooms literally blocked off with cardboard and tape. read more

Goodwill and Thrift Store on Steroids. Amazing deals and selection that they have at this store. I was surprised by the amount of merchandise they have coming from Dillards stores. Found such good deals on women summer shirts, dresses and shoes. Will never pay full price for anything ever again! My go to store. read more

This is a clearance center so the prices are awesome! Each week they have different collections of clothes on sale. I was told you have to come in or call to see what the sales are for the week, can't just check online. The clothes are items that never sold at the other Dillard's stores. They are usually in good condition but sometimes have a broken zipper or snags in the material. The place can be super overwhelming because of how much stuff they have. They are also not organized super well so you have to thumb through a lot. Still worth it! There are also no carts, just those big blue Dillard's bags. read more

Love this clearance store! Just moved to Slidell from Texas-which we didn't have a clearance store where I used to live at. Soooooo I'm totally loving this store! Shoes I purchased at a regular Dillard's for over a $100 (Gianni Bini) I paid $4.40 at the clearance store! I was able to purchase two other colors for an awesome bargin!! The outside looks shady and dirty, bathrooms need to be cleaned and maybe a deodorize wouldn't hurt in the ladies bathroom! Other than that they have a wide selection of "brand" names at unbelievable bargains! read more

Will never ever in a million years will I go back. Don't have buggies fit for children and had no knowledge of this. So I was told upfront I could put him in there, then and oriental lady says he's not allowed in it. THEN I have somebody tell me that my son wasnt allowed in there with no shoes. I see a lot of people giving reveiws comparing this Dillards to other Dillards Dept Stores likes the one in Freameux Town Center and/or Lakeside Mall. It isn't. This Dillards is specifically a clearence Dillards. All of the items that have been discontinued, have no room on show floor, or have been found to have imperfections come here. It's kinda where unbought clothes go to die. Except they probably get sold to Marshalls instead. Lol. This is pretty much a Marshalls, with the Dillards logo on it. Its the only thing holding that abandoned Mall together, and Dillards figured that instead of closing it and losing money on that closure, they'd use it to send all the 'junk' not sold in the other regionally located Dillards, as opposed to having to sell all that 'junk' for a bulk price to a place like Marshalls, now they can make money from all that. Im not mad. Ill take it. With that said, Dillards Inc could give negative 3 sh*ts what the dressing rooms look like, the state of the organization, nor the level of pride in appearance or attitude in their employees. In their eyes, it should be grateful to still be in service, and should never ask for more than that...so don't expect a thorough carpet cleaning anytime soon. I live locally in Slidell, and someone in my nextdoor.com community usually posts the weekly sales flyers; so you could try checking that out. I'd just go in there with some time to spare, socks, and some duct tape for doorlocks. Digging is kinda half the fun. You just never know what you'll find, but itll be wayyy cheaper than purchasing anything from the 'actual' Dillards. read more

My 80 year old Mother and I went to this outlet Dillards in Slidell this evening. The store closed promptly at 7 pm, when this happens they lock all the exits to the store except for one. When my mother and I asked them to unlock the door to let us out of the store they refused and told us that we would have to exit from a different part of the store. My mother has a handicap which makes walking long distances difficult, I tried to explain this and was met with extreme rudeness. I am still in shock that these sales associates could be so rude and uncaring. We ended up exiting from the entrance to the store across the parking lot from our car since they said they could not open the door once it's locked. This was a unnecessary inconvenience. Since I didn't want to leave my 80yr old mother alone in a parking lot while I went to get the car. It caused her significant pain walking back to the car with her crippled leg. I don't care how cheap their clothes are I will NEVER shop at this store!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
