I'm not a Kohl's shopper, generally. Their clothes and home goods aren't really my style. But when you return something from Amazon, you get a coupon for 15-25% off. Sometimes I look for things, other times I don't. This time, I had a return and was on my way out when I saw cotton tee shirts on sale. These were nice boatneck tees, which I like better than crew necks, so I bought some in white, black, navy, and pale pink. Very happy with them! Kohl's pricing is...interesting. Always check online, both on their site and others. There can be discrepancies. Also on shelf price vs register price. Check the receipt. The last time that I bought towels, they rang up at $23, but the shelf price was $19. They made the adjustment to honor the shelf price. read more

Kohls has gone downhill over the past couple of years. Way understaffed, disorganized and staff is often rude and unhelpful. We went in to try to find some formal stuff for my son. There were lots of deals listed around the store, so we started our search, only to find a chaotic mess. Once we rifled through the stock, we found one working dressing room area that had guys and girls and kids all changing in the same place. Weird and uncomfortable, as my son is a pretty massive football player and the ladies in the changing area looked terrified. We were able to find one of the items thankfully and at a good price, but couldn't ask for help with anything else as no one was around who actually worked there until we were done. Two employees showed up to the literal piles of clothing inside and outside the changing rooms. Looked like hours of work ahead for them. Certainly miss the Kohls of old and hard to recommend them these days! read more

This Kohls stands apart from others in that it's less people on the weekends and has a clear method to their organization. While the clearance racks are spread throughout the store, you can actually find things for good prices. The dressing rooms are clean and the employees, especially the cashiers are super nice. Although it's a further drive, I find this Kohl's is usually less busy. Their racks and sections are also spread further apart so it's easier to navigate and doesn't feel as crowded. I always find the cashiers very friendly and they always strike up a fun conversation about my purchases. This Kohl's usually has a bigger selection of the higher end brands so it is worth the drive. read more

Kohls is usually Kohls but this one met me at a nervous breakdown one evening and I shopped online wanting to pick things up that night so I could wear the following day. The store closed too soon for them to be able to fulfill it and I called into the store, requested their manager and basically begged him to pretty please allow me to come pick it up before tomorrow. Manager of was really put in a tough spot as it was about 10 min til close and he threw it all together and met me at the entrance doors with the bag. This store was going to get a three star (it's appeared to be an average kohl's) but then despite being busy, the customer service was excellent. It's easy to get bogged down with customer service when you are busy, but someone was willing to go in the stock room and get the item I wanted, but couldn't find on the floor....and she did it with a smile. That act, 100% moved the store from a three to a four. The cashiers, lady at the returns counter, everyone was slammed but upbeat and nice. Customer service really stood out here. I used to like Kohl's. But since the Sephora debacle, they are dead to me. Not just due to Sephora's introduction, but the whole store. I went there to find some women's shoes today and I saw thousands of sport shoes but almost nothing for women in dressier shoes or even sandals. Not only that, half the store was practically empty or under-stocked. Finally, they have two entrances, but if you park near the north one, you can't check out at that door. You have to traipse around to the other door and then double back to the door where you parked. It didn't used to be that way. The line to check out was way too long so I dropped the shirt I thought I'd buy and headed out. It was pouring rain by then and I was glad to get out when I did. I've shopped here for so many years, but no more. Just lost me after throwing out the Jennifer Lopez line and so many others. I hate Sephora and would not ever shop there. I really like Kohl's. Came in because I needed to use my Kohl's Cash and found great clearance items for my granddaughter. This store had plenty of parking, was clean and organized and the store associates I dealt with were very attentive, helpful and friendly. I purchased tennis shoes online a month ago for my daughters birthday- tracking had them scheduled for delivery in one week then it became two weeks now it's a month later and Kohl's LOST the shipment! On top of that they can't figure out how to refund the charges made online and their home office said to go to the store to verify the refund - three days and still now refund after the Home Office of Kohl's admitted they Lost the shipment some how and no one can say why the refund hasn't posted! Kohl's has really gone downhill! The Lonetree store has super nice customer service but I am done shopping at kohl's online or in the stores when no one seems to o ow how to track a refund from their error in online order filling. Shame on you kohl's - the people who work for your company are a hundred times better at customer service than any manager or any home office customer service . read more

I like Khol's. I have been able to find things there easily and reasonably most of the time. My most recent acquisition was pillows. I went to look and discovered a sale, which is normally what happens when I go there. Buy one and get the second for a buck! I thought it was a pretty good deal and got some super firm side sleeper pillows. I have purchased everything from Luggage to Lingerie at Khol's. Christmas presents, Graduation and Birthday gifts. They have all sorts of things and usually a large selection of them. The Wall of Kitchen stuff is usually a mess but like finding a treasure when you can uncover something you can't live with out! Their return policy is liberal and like any other store, there is never enough cashiers and staff, but that's just how things go. They do a pretty good job with things IMHO. This location is way to close to my job so easy lunch hour browsing. read more

I should've learned my lesson the last time I came to this location, but I didn't. I'm leaving frustrated again because their customer service is terrible and they're never helpful. The employees don't care about the customer, they're just working their shift and could care less about providing any service. I never felt so uncomfortable shopping anywhere until I went to this kohl's. Their shoe department is a mess. Everything is misplaced. So I asked for price check and learned it was in wrong area so the price was higher than expected. I grabbed another pair of shoes and checked out. The manager rudely went up to the cashier to let her know to check the shoes to make sure I wasn't trying to steal the shoes by swapping it out with another box. The manager Lisa did this in front of us. I am so embarrassed because I am not a thief. So the shoes and box matched. I got no apology for the rude behavior. Every single time I go to this location there's an issue with something, a problem or someone doesn't know how to do their job. Going to pick up an online order is a hassle, returning something is a hassle. Customer service needs a lot of improvement, treating customers like "guests" would be a great improvement. Terrible customer service.... I applied for Kohl's credit card...... Was denied because I have a credit freeze.... I asked which credit bureau they use so I can lift the freeze temporarily. They said TransUnion.... I lifted the freeze with them and I was still denied.... Called Kohl's application department and was told that I now have to lift my credit freeze with all credit bureaus.... Kohl's agent was very rude...... A lot of hassle for a store credit card..... not really worth it! read more

Sooooo....I'm THAT customer, sometimes. The one that tries to return/exchange a 5 yr. old steam cleaner that broke‍. I headed to the Lone Tree Kohls a little sheepishly, but hey... we're not rich, and politely asked if I could get a replacement. I think Debbie was a little shocked I'd try such a thing, but when she realized I wasn't joking she was incredibly accommodating, efficient, resourceful and pleasant. When she couldn't figure out just how to assist me she invited her manager Karl to see what he could do. He, too, couldn't do quite what I was asking, but pointed us in the right direction. I like shopping the clearance racks here because the prices can be so good. I recently bought my husband almost an entirely new wardrobe for about $150! It's not uncommon for me to find things for myself here in the $3-7 range, though lately fewer of the clothes have been my style. This place has a lot going for it, with such a huge inventory. But the staff are apathetic and store is always totally trashed. I mean, it's like shopping at Walmart, the shelves are in such disarray. Items disorganized, mis-shelved, and generally looking like a tornado walked through the aisles. And I'm not talking at the end of the day, either - I'm talking 8am Monday morning, after they've had all of Sunday night to put the store right. I was going to give this review four stars, even though the quality of the items is lower than comparable stores like JCPenny and Nordstrom, but the state of the store brought it down to two. read more

I think i just love the idea of Kohl's. Some things are amazing. As a general rule - don't ever buy anything for full price, it will go on sale, soon... The staff is generally indifferent. They push kohl's cards on your way out at check out - i'm assuming they get a kick back (i used to when i worked retail) Plenty of options for stuff to wear, even a petite section. My first time going to this location, I was delighted by two things- 8am opening and ability to find affordable items that fit and didn't make me look older than I am. My second time going to this location, the aforementioned clothing option had dwindled significantly. I will visit a third time to decide whether or not this Kohl's is a win for me or filed away in the 'store not for me' box. I don't shop at Kohl's often, but every now and then I need something and they have it. And, I'll admit it - there have been times when their Sunday newspaper ad has lured me in. The prices are wonderful! I save so much when I go in-- especially on the clearance racks!! However, the store is a complete mess. It's not pleasant walking through aisle after aisle trying not to knock something over either on a rack or a shelf. The associates are never to be found when there is a mess. I get that it's such a big store and there's a lot to be done, but, shouldn't there be some customer service where we don't have to worry about that stuff? Same goes for the dressing rooms. The clothes are hanging everywhere and there's no body cleaning up after the room was done. It's not something that makes me want to try on clothing. With that being said, it's not a horrible store! The people who work there are very nice and I love not spending a crap ton of money but the store is very messy. It displeases me, so it gets 2 stars from me. read more

I entered the store with a long list of items I needed but right away I was drawn to the shoe department, my weakness. I found a boot, only 1, in my size and spent approximately 30 minutes searching for the mate and then searching out a department employee. Finally I headed to the registers where 3 employees were standing and talking amongst themselves, as there were no customers to ring up. I was brushed off to go find a shoe department employee, one wearing a green striped blouse and 1 that hangs out by the kiosk. Finally I found a young woman that was obliviously helping another customer, I had seen that lady aimlessly searching for help earlier. I asked the employee if she worked in the Shoe Department as she snapped back that she was helping someone. She did NOT listen to my question and that is your big downfall as a brick and mortar store. I was willing to wait my turn, but instead I was blown off. I just set the boot down and started exploring for other items on my list. I couldn't locate anything I was searching for except a $4 Birthday card. So instead of re-opening my account, I just paid, expressed my disappointment and left. Kohl's was my mother's favorite store and while I visited her in TN, during her life ending fight with cancer, she insisted that I open a Kohl's account. So I did! But because I lived in a small CO with no Kohl's store within 120 miles, I paid off the account and closed it. Yes, I was feeling very nostalgic, but because of the rude and non-existent customer service, I won't be shopping in that store, ever again. PS: The following day I was in Lowe's purchasing new appliances and as I walked through the store with my salesman we were stopped numerous times by men asking questions regarding products or looking for items they couldn't find. My salesman was courteous and tried to help each one, and if he couldn't, promised to get people over to assist them. It was such a contrast in customer service. read more

I discovered Kohl's about five years ago at this very location and have been very pleased until now. So, here is my warning. If you have a 8 - 14 y/o boy, don't waste your gas on going to this store. In this giant store with easily 100,000 square feet of floor space, they've allocated a measly 600 square feet of overpriced NIKE and CHAMPION products for our young boys. Who by the way, don't like wearing jeans, which is pretty much all they have here... Tons of jeans. It's such blatant misunderstanding for what parents are looking for it pissed me off, simple because it was such a waste of my time to go there. $31.99 for one Nike sweatshirt "ON SALE." Plain, bland Champion sweatpants for $24.99 (ON SALE!), All I can do is laugh at how far they've missed the mark LOL!!! Other parents were clearly just as confused as I was.
