I came in to find a dress for my daughter and was impressed by the selection! This store has definitely improved over the years, and I was very happy with both the variety of items and the prices. However, the service was a bit lacking. Even though I know my way around the store, two employees walked right past me without offering any assistance or even a greeting. My plus one wanted to go to KOHL'S, I wasn't too excited, thrilled, nor pleased. To me, it was just another store for shopping. I am not that guy to run up in a store to shop. The first and last time I went to a KOHL's was in Portchester NY around 2018, really quick in and out, no time to blink, that is how fast I was in and out of there. There is a huge parking lot with regular parking, handicap parking, and maybe a couple spots for pick up. Walking inside this KOHL'S in Levittown I am blown away. Absolute exhilarated! Mouth drooped open, mesmerized, giddy...you get the message. I am so shocked at all the fine quality of product, I mean, house wear to personal gear. (that rhyme was for the poets). I saw so much stuff in the kitchen section, and I priced a rice cooker so that I can start cooking my Quinoa. I was going to order one from the huge "A." Now I don't have to! I saw Clothes for men, women, boys, and girls. Ugly sweaters, festive sweaters, and regular sweaters. I saw a warming blanket that I am interested in. I am like a kid in a candy store. You heard me? I realize you all may have been there but let give praises, I am excited.... LOL. This place reminds me of Bed, Bath, and Beyond combine with Kmart, JCPenney, and Cuisinart, merged as one unit. I can't wait to come back with extra time to shop because time did not permit today. My plus one came to pick something up and the representative was so helpful. She went above and beyond to tend to us. She could have directed us to the pickup area and called it a day. Instead, she asked all of the correct information needed causing her to be able to retrieve the package for pick up. What resonated with me was the representative setting aside what she was doing to tend to our needs. She aced the four levels of customer service. 1. Unsatisfactory- satisfied 2. For a quick purchase sure. For an Amazon or any return , or help finding something, never. You wait in line forever because of under staffed counters. The lack of quality customer service, non existent. Also, the use of the phrase 'next customer please' and ' have a nice day' have been replaced by ' You ready?" . Fitting rooms closed. You aren't allowed to try things on in the store. So people are told to try it on at home (where people don't where a mask and can sneeze or cough all over it) then return it if it doesn't fit. The associate insisted it's "better" that way. I had an Amazon return and decided to use Kohl's for the return location. Close to home, in an out, easy - right? I have to admit that I've only been in the store a couple of times I tell the guy at the door that I have a return. He says go straight to the back of the store and you'll see the return area. So I go there, about 8 people on line. We keep our distance and wait our turn. I wait about 15 minutes. My turn. " I have an Amazon return. Oh, you're on the wrong line. It's down the main aisle on the right. " No signs to indicate that Amazon is in a different spot in the store. I find the Amazon return desk and wait on another line. Only a few minutes this time. It's 4 days before Christmas and they have about 1/4 of the registers open. The line is around the entire store. I've already been waiting 25 minutes and I still have about 100 people on line ahead of me. The store is a mess and it's difficult to find sizes. Plus there isn't a cart in sight. Don't come here for your holiday shopping unless you want to drag around your purchases while you wait in line the whole night. I've been to this Kohl's location over the years to get goods. The store in located in a shopping center that has been changing with lots of old stores leaving and new stores opening up. Generally this Kohl's tends to be on the busier side and would have long lines that you can be waiting quite a while. On my recent visit it was quite the surprise to see the line move the most efficient I've seen in years and on a weekend. I didn't wait longer than 5-7 minutes. The department store has a great variety of goods to buy from clothes, housewares, bath and bedroom linens, toys and seasonal goods. They hold most of the top name brands including Kohl's designer exclusives such as Vera Wang, Lauren Conrad and Rock Republic. I like to search in their jewelry section to hunt for cute finds in the fashion jewelry to wear. I like Lauren Conrad's line of jewelry since it is cute but simplistic. You can easily wear her jewelry for a special occasion or a casual gathering or work. They usually have lots of cute seasonal goods around Thanksgiving and Christmas time. They usually have lots of cute knick nack and gag gifts as well. Kohl's has weekly deals with usually some percentage off the merchandise. You kinda have to read the deal to see if the price ends up being really a sale or not. You can earn Kohl's cash for a future purchase which usually is earning $10 for every $50 you spend on your purchase. You just need to remember to spend it before it expires in two weeks. read more

Eh, average Kohl's. Apparently, the long line for returns on a weekday is commonplace at all of them per the conversation I overheard while standing in line. Wish I could have gotten replacements of items I needed to exchange but only managed to get one. My major gripe here is why, oh why, can't you handle exchanges at the register, move your returns section/customer service to the front of the store so people can see it or properly staff the returns section so the return/exchange process isn't made that much worse for the customer? Kohl's is my favorite department store. Prices better than Macy's and the items are comparable. They always have what I want at decent prices. And their send to store policy is a great timesaver. I frequent LEVITTOWN mostly but also use Massapequa and Jericho when I'm in the area. I've never had a problem with any of them. Don't believe all the negative reviews. I used to own a bridal shop and I tell you shoppers are downright rude lately. They all think you have to compete with cheap stuff in the internet. And if you get an attitude, it's because you come in with one. Most workers are only human. read more

I will never ever shop here again after how rude these associates were to me. I brought a pair of joggers to the register and the sign said $10. They rang up as $25 and I said hey can you get someone to check the sign bc they are supposed to be $10. The cashier has a girl from juniors check and she had the WORST attitude. I do not understand what her problem was bc I was nothing but nice and respectful to both of them. She proceeds to check and tells me those pants were placed there by mistake and she wasn't honoring the price. I tell her that's not right bc all the pants were placed there and she proceeded to roll her eyes at me. That was when I got really upset and my blood was boiling! I told the cashier to get the manager and the manager override the price for me. I was happy and I paid for pants and was leaving. As I was leaving I had to pass by juniors department. I heard the associate and the manager talking about me so I stopped and listened. I heard the manager yell, "LETS MOVE THESE PANTS AFTER DEALING WITH THAT BITCH!" I said to her, listen I am not a bitch. I am a person that wants to get the discount that was advertised like every other person. You might want to make sure I was out of the store first before talking trash. She proceeded to argue with me and I said don't worry corporate will hear about this. I spend way too much money at kohl's to be treated this way. This store should be ashamed of themselves! I work in retail and I know how stressful it is. But I would never treat a customer this way. This Kohl's is almost equal to the one in Jericho, the only thing that makes the one in Jericho nicer is the management. Don't come here close to closing. The manager/supervisor is always annoyed that you are there and really should post closing time 30 minutes before because that's really when they want you out. The Kohl's in Jericho doesn't make a big deal even if you haven't paid when they have closed. read more

Although I have not been in this store many times I have to say how nice and helpful the staff has been each time. I'm usually in a huge hurry and have about all of 11 minutes to get in there and get out. I can always find an eager person to assist me with a smile ; they always walk with me to find what I need.. The last time I was there, I was returning something without a receipt; as I had to intention of returning it..when I realized the curtain rod was not necessary I wanted to return. They were very friendly about it. Have me a full price merchandise credit which is fine. My sister will be getting this. Without realizing, I left my fairly new mini Prada change purse there.. had my license, a few credit cards.. etc.. a couple months went by.. I figured I just lost it for good. Well, a few days ago I get a Manila envelope addressed to me in my mailbox. Someone from this store sent it to me.. I couldn't be more grateful!! Thank you so very much for being so thoughtful ! We recently made a purchase online that we needed to return to the store. I bought two pairs of diamond earrings a week apart because the first ones I purchased were not what I was looking for. For these purchases, I received two different kohl's cash awards. I then redeemed the Kohl's cash from what I thought was my second order of the earrings that I but I inadvertently used the Kohl's cash from the first order. When I went to return the earrings from the first order today, I was told that I would be refunded $315 less, which was the value of the Kohl's cash redeemed. When I asked if we could switch the Kohl's cash because I used the wrong one, I was told that they cannot switch Kohl's cash and offered me no other possible resolution. The staff in the store were not helpful and advised us to call customer service where I waited on hold for 2 1/2 hours and was hung up on twice. Awful customer service altogether between the store and calling the customer service line. Anybody with common sense would see I just want to switch to use the correct Kohl's cash but Kohl's do not permit that. Never shopping here again or in any of their stores. read more

Kohls March 12, 2019 at about 2:15 PM My husband saw an advertisement for socks that he buys. So, we went in. (I did not but should have taken a picture of the sign at the display) We found the socks display. The sign said 35% off. Underneath it said 20-21 dollars. We took two packs. At the register (again I should have taken the woman's name) I explained that we have a Kohls charge card and that I believe there was a 20% discount. She informed me this did not apply to today. Ok. We still wanted the socks. She rings it up as 22.00 each pack. I nicely explained, no that there was a sign that said 35% off. (She called to get someone from the department) While we waited, I went to check the signs. When I lifted it up off the placard, underneath it said IF YOU TAKE OUT A CHARGE CARD TODAY. Also, I grabbed the other sign-as noted it did say 20-21 dollars, and brought it to the register. She said that this was a mistake and that she would have the person in the department take off the signs. I explained to her that I believe stores are to honor the cost of incorrectly placed signs to the customer before removing and correcting them for others. (I am not sure if it is a Legality or a Courtesy) Her reply was she would then charge me 21.00 each pack. (I wonder how she had this ability to make such a change without official authorization and where their "change" money is for the difference) Of course she said used that famous word that we all get when there is going to clearly be no assistance. "SORRY". Upon which I asked her where I would address it further, she was lax in where over there was in Customer Services- I asked where that was, she pointed toward the back of the store. We left without the socks or tee shirt we had planned to buy. Now this is the thing, others that I speak with say that they like Kohls. We on occasion have found some adequately nice things there at prices that we can afford. So, it once again; - um, what shall I say, saddens, frustrates, annoys- me to have to bother with incompetence or attitude as this/these people - have 1 job and it becomes an issue to do it. Next time I will take the coupon , the charge card, the phone to take pictures of the signs and bring it up; in spoon feeding them, that things will go smoothly enough to purchase and finish a transaction; so, that we do not have to wait for someone to check or come over (of which did not happen) or go to a Customer Services place to approach a worker to ask for further assistance and more so, end up not buying items as simple as socks and tee shirts and any gotcha items or things on my list. Kohls pretty much has everything for your home & clothing needs, they have clothes for kids, adults, boys & girls. They also sell home products such as dishes, blenders, juicers, bedspreads, and comforters. They have awesome coupons too. Every month or so I get one inthe mail thats either 15, 20 or 30% off everything! I usually only go when I get the 30% one and then we have a ball. The one con about this place is the return line, way too long!! Try not to buy something that you want to return. While the staff is friendly, you dont want to waste a half hour waiting to return something. read more

This is the closest kohls to my house ,although it doesn't always have the greatest selection. I think other stores in the area like massapequa tend to have a larger selection of woman's clothes. The store can also get quite busy on kohls cash days and the lines can be like Black Friday. I give this store 3 stars for all for the amazing cashiers they are always friendly and positive even on the busiest days. A serious shout out to the customer service department who helped me find a comforter set my Mom wanted and seemed to be sold out in most stores. They located one in Jericho and even had them hold Out for us so it would sell out. read more

Came to pick up my online order. Was online for 30mins or so and when it's my turn, waiting patiently for a slow poke staff named Cathy, who rudely told me she has to take another one behind me because I was in the return line. Mind you, there was no clear distinction except with the board that has an arrow. I got so pissed because of her reason. So if waited for hours in the wrong spot and it's my turn to be served, then they'll get somebody else that just came in. Is that fair? Clearly management has to stand up for this. This staff is ready to retire and just so cranky, unhappy with her job. I have been a customer for years in this location and been buying 90% from this store. It's a department store. The Kohl's chain is generally slightly nicer than JCPenney's. They have a great return policy. You can basically return anything, at any time, for store credit, and this policy makes the store somewhat popular. While I don't abuse the policy myself, I know of people that have (I do not advocate doing this). The store is fairly inexpensive generally, and this is especially true if you use their coupons available online or through the mail. This specific location in Levittown is fairly nice, however the two-story location in Massapequa may be slightly larger (though the Levittown location is NOT small by any means). I was here with my grandmother recently during Black Friday 2017, while my grandmother was visiting New York from Florida. My grandmother had a great time, and she bought a new coat that she really liked; she was very happy with Black Friday shopping experience. The store was nicely decorated for Christmas during our visit. Of note, they had some impressive deals on televisions for the Black Friday sale event. I've been to this location multiple times at various points during the year, and I would recommend coming to this store and this location even during normal non-sale-event times. read more

I purchased a toy the end of November online. It was mailed to me. I didn't see my niece until this past Saturday night. She opened her gift and we put brand new batteries in the toy and it didn't work. I brought the item back with receipt and was told they can only give me back 2 dollars. I said i rather throw it away. You gave me a defected toy that i paid for. I asked for an exchange and she told me to go to Kios desk and order another one and then when i receive it they can do an exchange. Well, Kohl's doesn't have this toy anymore so i can't even make an exchange which i was willing to do. So now I'm stuck with a brand new broken toy. I spend thousand of dollars a year especially at Christmas. This is unacceptable. I'm totally done with Kohl's. Been a client for since 2000. So disappointed. read more

This is a decent sized Kohl's. I came here for an in-store pickup because it was the only location where my items were available. They open at 8 and I walked in shortly after they opened. It's the best time to shop... while everyone else is at work. The store was empty aside from employees. I walked right up to customer service and was in and out in less than 2 minutes. The associate at Pickup's was very friendly. Right now they have $10 off $25 purchase sale going both online and in store. I maximized my savings and did both haha Brought a printable to the store and used the code online too for my in store pickup. Score! and the bonus is I got Kohl's point's towards my next reward. No lines at checkout either. I always get great deals here. This location is very well organized but they don't have much in terms of a clearance section. A lot of items in the kids section were 40% off so I got them some fall/winter clothes. Ugh...they're already playing Christmas music up in here lol! I usually do not shop at this kohl's but I was nearby and I had to return some merchandise I had purchased online during the pandemic. As this is the beginning of indoor shopping I was hesitant to shop but I was geared up appropriately with a mask and gloves. The lines at the return counter were very long so I decided to leave. People were not spaced appropriately and I did not want to remain there for what appeared to be at least a half hour wait. As I was leaving the store I noticed that an associate was folding clothes with her mask under her chin. There were two customers not far from her who also were not wearing their masks. Although there are signs posted at the entrance that everyone must wear masks there does not appear to be any enforcement of the rules which are necessary to keep all healthy. I commented that everyone is supposed to wear a mask. The associate complied however the customer angrily told me to mind my own business. She shouted "I have health insurance. I can do what I want". I did not engage further and left the store. Her arrogance and ignorance is self explanatory. I hope that people can respect everyone's right to protect themselves during this pandemic. If you don't want to abide by the rules and wear a mask then do not go to public places. I called the store manager by phone and she took my complaint seriously and went to the floor to assess the situation. It is obviously not enough to post a sign at the front door. There needs to be a system to monitor that people comply. I hope that all the work and time it took to bring Long Island to the point of reopening is not short lived. I'm appalled at the short sightedness of people and lack of consideration in addition to kohl's lack of monitoring. read more
