I was searching for a dress to wear to an upcoming winter wedding and the two women in the store were so helpful! I had picked out a dress to try on and they immediately brought out a couple other suggestions, one of which was the winning dress! i It was so unique and not something I may have thought to try on myself, but it ended up so perfect for a winter wedding (above the knee, pretty black velvet with off-the-shoulder bell sleeves) and I got so many compliments on it throughout the night. It is a boutique, so items were not inexpensive, but the quality of the dress I bought made it worth the price point. And it was 10% off for small biz Saturday! Since visiting back around November I've also gotten a couple texts from the rewards program offering things like 15% off one item. I don't live in the SW burbs anymore but but next time I'm in Lemont I'll definitely make it a priority to stop in.

You are not refunded but given a credit to use inn their store. When I returned to use it--just five days past the expiration dat (only 6months by the way) the staff member told me it might still be possible to use it and suggested I reach out to the owner, since she has reactivated store credits for others in the past. What's most frustrating is that the expiration date was never mentioned to me at the time of the exchange. It was simply handwritten in pen on the receipt, which I didn't even notice. That's not a professional or transparent way to communicate an important policy, especially when it involves a customer's money. When I contacted the owner, I was told the system automatically deletes expired credits and there was absolutely nothing that could be done. This contradicts what I was told in the store and left me feeling dismissed as a customer. I understand having policies, but this felt unnecessarily rigid and inconsistent. I won't be shopping here again, and I'd caution others to be aware that store credits can quietly expire without clear communication or flexibility.

The daughter was straight up clueless and had no knowledge of clothing or fashion. I think what bothered me most was the constant being on the phone with vendors and putting up new clothes- if you have customers in your store then you should be talking with them not on the phone. (It was really annoying trying to ask questions while the were trying to talk to a vendor about ordering). The daughter also was eating while people were shopping instead of taking her break in the back room. It's sad because they could have something really good here if they tried and connected with people .... Facebook is not the only connection to be making with your customers. Myself and my son did a LOT of organizing, cleaning, moving furniture. Communication once we hired the company was so so at best. A lot of things were "let me check and get back to you", which ended up with me having to reach out again to follow up. I walked thru my dads house and garage the day before the sale and saw how they priced everything. My dad lives very rural, in the middle of the country so we did not expect a huge turnout but there were people in line waiting with a constant flow of people both days. Day 1 is suppose to be full price as listed yet several of my friends went to the sale and were ready to pay the full price listed and only ended up paying 1/3. Seems like they were wheeling and dealing on day 1. Which we did NOT agree to. WHAT?? On day 1 you asked $20 for something listed as $60? My dads riding lawn mower was priced at $1400. It didnt sell the first day so I knew it would go for $700 on the 2nd day. When we got our itemized list of what sold we saw that the lawn mower sold for only $300!! a 12 piece oak amish dining room set sold for $100, that was a 1/8 of what it was listed at. We paid $1500 for their "fee" and a 65/35 split. Then told that we didnt have to pay thr $1500, that the fee was asked for if the home was determined that it would bring in a profit. When we received the check and itemized list the $1500 was taken out of the profits and the remainder was done at the split. We ended up after all the work and back and forth with $400. a full 3 bedroom home! The itemized list left out A LOT of pieces that were no longer in my fathers home but were not on the list as sold. I asked if anything was going to be taken for consignment at their store and was told no, so not sure where these items went. My father lived very simply so we were not expecting a huge result but really felt we were taken advantage of and it was a HUGE waste of time. I put in a lot of man hours and had I know I would have either A. let them do all the work or B. Did the work and held the sale myself! NOTE-I have been told by multiple people who frequent their sales and many others, as well as people who have hired them in the past, that they will have their regulars (*who resell) come and give them the deals on items. I cannot confirm this but hearing it from many different people gives me pause.

All the clothing is high quality and if you read the labels they definitely come from high quality companies. Some of which of foreign (if that should matter) I met the owner of the store who was encouraging people to check out the store was really friendly. The lay out of the store is really nice as well. This definitely isn't your Modern Man store, it's definitely more than that from what this place offers and I told the owner that more people should know about this store. It's definitely something I want to get ready for my next date night . Highly recommend.
