My 8+ month pregnant wife went in to the store to find out that they installed cheaper carpet because the name 'mineral' was in the title. From that point she was told she agreed to the product number, as though they didn't screw up. She new the name and the cost she was told. This put us in an incredible bind and thus meant that quote we understood was not correct. In addition they didn't get the carpet done installed in the window of time we were told as well. Looking back at the quote and billing the name and number were on the form but the cost per square foot was not. My wife was adamant that she would have noticed the lesser cost. Go with Kohl's Flooring instead.

The most concerning part us this is that no one informed us that this had happened. We discovered the damage on our own. As homeowners we expect honesty and transparency when accidents occur, especially during our home project. After discovering this issue, we attempted to communicate with the company to address the situation. Unfortunately, dealing with the management--specifically the vice president--only made matters worse. Communication was awful, we were given conflicting information, and she continued to lie and simply ignore the situation. Home improvement projects require trust, professionalism and accountability. Sadly, our experience lacked all of these things. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to carefully evaluate their customer service and communication practices before moving forward.

I never felt rushed, they are the friendliest people, she found furniture to fit my disability needs and NEVER pushed for the higher prices. They beat Ashley furniture in prices, quality furniture- customer service is 1 on 1, and most important delivery is by THEM who work there, no 3rd party Milwaukee drivers who are less than classy and deliver your items like a horrific Amazon delivery. Items in the store can be purchased to go immediately and the wait for any items are very minimal 2-3 weeks. Choices of fabrics galore! I had the best experience ever! I have confidence in they will take care of my delivery with the most respect. I was treated with dignity and kindness. I assumed it would be more expensive but that is completely FALSE. I purchased better furniture for thousands less than Ashley. And FREE delivery !! No extra $200 delivery Ashley charges according to distance.

After moving we found out because of COVID19 many furniture stores had limited stock, and orders were taking more than 6 months to deliver. Some furniture stores weren't selling any furniture from their sales floor because of the pandemic. They were only taking orders. At West Bend Furniture & Design the furniture is beautiful. I didn't have to order anything. They had so many things to choose from. Their staff was friendly and very helpful. I picked out two chairs for my living room. After they were delivered I realized that one chair I selected didn't fit in with my other furniture in the room. West Bend Furniture & Design were so kind about it, when I called to ask if I could select something else and have it exchanged. I knew they had several other pieces that would work in the room. They delivered the replacement and made the exchange without an additional charge. My husband and I are thrilled with how our living room looks now. Thank you West Bend Furniture & Design.

PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE GIVING THIS BUSINESS YOUR MONEY!…read more This business was incredibly unprofessional, and the way they treated someone who was grieving the loss of her father and simply wanted to do something nice for herself is deeply disturbing. She hired them to remodel her home and trusted them to handle what should have been a straightforward renovation. Instead, within a short period of time, the paint in her bathroom began chipping, the sink cracked, and other things stopped working properly. Even more concerning was how they handled her requests during the project. She asked for completely standard things--a particular faucet, an appropriate sink size, and a grab bar for the shower. They would not accommodate any of her requests. She was actually told they couldn't get her a grab bar for her shower. A grab bar. Home Depot has an entire selection of them. How can a company that specializes in home design and remodeling claim they can't accommodate such basic requests?? Then there is the pricing. Items that can be purchased for a fraction of the cost were marked up dramatically--for example, a showerhead costing around $100 being charged at $750. There is nothing wrong with a business making a profit, but customers deserve transparency and reasonable value for what they're paying. And then things got even worse. The company owner's personal belongings were dumped into the client's dumpster, leaving the client unable to use it for her own renovation waste. But perhaps the most disturbing part of the entire experience was how she was treated when she finally confronted them about it. She was told: "It was easy to take advantage of you." Read that again. "It was easy to take advantage of you." This says everything you need to know about how this company views its customers. People trust contractors and designers with their homes, their money, and sometimes in their most vulnerable moments. They deserve honesty, professionalism, respect, and quality workmanship--not to be treated as an opportunity to make an excessive profit because someone is trusting or going through a difficult time. Please know exactly who you're trusting with your home and your hard-earned money! No one should be made to feel like they were an easy target. People deserve better than this!
