This is about shopping Men's items only…read more I found several items that were of a good value, including shoes. After a different experience not far away, it was a pleasant surprise to find things not only in organized-by-size state, but numerous real deals. There's a variety here that's good for younger to older. There are items that are insanely priced, but many realistic prices and a few good deals. Happy to get some shoes and apparel. It was a pleasant surprise, overall. Kudos to their buyers and pricers.

There certainly were some great deals here, and if I needed jeans, I certainly would have bought some for me. Sadly, they did not have any jeans at my brothers size. That's a bummer, wish they would have clothes for larger guys, but sadly they didn't. Still, I would make the trip again if I lived in the area to get the prices they had here for Levi Jeans.

So Barbie's favourite Outlets are the Tanger Outlets, and when she was driving from Columbus to Cleveland to come and see me, pick me up no less, she came right by here and was excited to see them, but didn't stop because she was in a hurry to get to me. So a few days later when we were driving through Columbus, we detoured up here and spent a couple of hours exploring the mall. It was delightful for me to bring her here and surprise her. Barbie enjoyed it tremendously and said that it's one of the better outlet malls that she's been to. It's really quiet and we were surprised at how few people were up here shopping. I hope that they're doing enough to stay in business. They had some good deals on, like the VS & Pink store had a big sale, but definitely there wasn't as much money to be saved or as extensive of a collection and selection as there is at the Tanger located in Texas City close to Houston which is our regular TO location. The Tanger of shopping here is that even though everything is at Outlet prices, you'll spend too much. The other Tanger is getting frozen in winter, because it's outside and it gets very cold indeed in these parts. So it's totally worth it. It's a genuinely nice place to shop. Until you drop. Sarah dove in when we were in a jam needing a new black suit for my husband for an upcoming wedding. John went in right after her to help us out with an exchange and an order for two items from two different stores. Today and I'm horribly embarrassed I didn't get our third sales professional's name, I walked in seeking the items that would have been delivered yesterday to find them at the store and we were able to right size everything my husband needed for a wedding next weekend. Von Maur is exceptional. Three different sales touch points all with exceptional service and optimal consistent experiences. That RARELY happens, if ever. Today, upon our repurchase, our sales professional said he was going to process us and ensure John got the credit. Integrity at its finest. I love the store experience. I love the pianist team they have - seen two now since I seem to be going there more often. :) I'm so relieved we got my husband hooked up. On December 30th 2023 I was shopping with family in Polaris and said what the heck let's give another go. This time I can honestly say I had some of the best customer service I've had in a long while. Every single employee that I engage with was super nice and very professional. Not to mention that the deals that were going on in the store at the time I was there were amazing I appreciate a good deal. It wouldn't have been fair to the establishment to write them off based off one distasteful interaction I had. In my humble opinion, outlet malls are a good place to shop if you looking for a nice variety of merchandise from a wide array of retailers but it's not a particularly good place to find bargains. In their heyday, outlet malls offered seconds, overruns, etc. and offered some bargain pricing. Now, it seems that outlet malls are just another place selling the same merchandise as in regular stores.

While the place wasn't very busy at all, the guy helping me appeared to do anything but help. First they didn't have the correct sizes/colors and matching pants for the suit separates. While I was looking to decide on something that the whole wedding party would wear I was given a Frankenstein outfit, jacket of a different color, pants of a different separate, and a vest of the wrong color...all while being told "but this will give you an idea and then we can order it all for you".....nope! To top it off the suits are pretty dated, if you are just trying to go cheap this is an option for a suit, if you want something more modern better go to Mens Warehouse or Macy's...both of which were a far better experience.
