My fourth stop on my shopping trip at Tanger Outlets was the Levi Outlet Store. My brother needed new jeans badly and we hoped to snag some for him at good prices. There certainly were some great deals here, and if I needed jeans, I certainly would have bought some for me. Sadly, they did not have any jeans at my brothers size. That's a bummer, wish they would have clothes for larger guys, but sadly they didn't. If Jesus shopped here, it'd be the Manger Outlets. If Walker shopped here, it'd be the Texas Ranger Outlets. And if creepy child abducting creeps shopped here, it'd be the Stranger Danger Outlets. So Barbie's favourite Outlets are the Tanger Outlets, and when she was driving from Columbus to Cleveland to come and see me, pick me up no less, she came right by here and was excited to see them, but didn't stop because she was in a hurry to get to me. So a few days later when we were driving through Columbus, we detoured up here and spent a couple of hours exploring the mall. It was delightful for me to bring her here and surprise her. Barbie enjoyed it tremendously and said that it's one of the better outlet malls that she's been to. It's really quiet and we were surprised at how few people were up here shopping. I hope that they're doing enough to stay in business. They had some good deals on, like the VS & Pink store had a big sale, but definitely there wasn't as much money to be saved or as extensive of a collection and selection as there is at the Tanger located in Texas City close to Houston which is our regular TO location. The Tanger of shopping here is that even though everything is at Outlet prices, you'll spend too much. The other Tanger is getting frozen in winter, because it's outside and it gets very cold indeed in these parts. So it's totally worth it. It's a genuinely nice place to shop. Until you drop. Size matters. That's right, I said it. When it comes to an outlet mall, that is all there is too it folks. The bigger, the better. In fact....once you go Tanger, you never go back. Sorta reminds me of another saying I once heard. But, I digress..... I cannot tell you how excited I was when I saw this place being built. Wait, yes I can! I was more excited than a Baptist preachers wife at an all you can eat pancake breakfast fundraiser. Each time I'd come to Columbus, I'd long for the day I could walk the sidewalks of the holy grail of outlet malls. Now that it is here, it's better than my dreams! The selection of stores here is awesome with an extra side of sauce. From shoes to clothes. Perfume to kitchen supplies. And yes folks, there is a Starbucks. You can take a collective sigh of relief! This place is modern and beautiful. I love the overhangs that provide shade and shelter from bad weather. The bathrooms here are clean and large. Parking is plentiful as well! I stop here every single time I come to CBus and I always find something to buy. Who am I kidding? Several things! Worth the trip and worth the stop! read more

I just LOVED the layout of this outlet! We decided to stop by to check it out on our way back to Cleveland from Columbus. They have every store you can think of, even a Toy-R-Us which I haven't seen one in years. I believe the layout of the outlet was perfect especially on a busy Sunday afternoon. There were a lot of people out the outlet but it didn't feel like it! Also, they had some great seating areas for folks who want to sit outside the stores as they wait for their party to finish shopping. I took full advantage of all the seating options, since I was so tired from the weekend. While we were there they had great sales going on in all of the stores! I know for sure that I will be back to explore more of this outlet! read more

I was not impressed. I've been stopping at the Tanger Outlets near Jeffersonville (on my way to Cincinnati or Louisville) for a number of years and was expecting another mall like the one in Jeffersonville. The Sunbury version of the Tanger Outlets is a lot smaller than the Jeffersonville location and, consequently, doesn't offer the same selection. On the positive side -- the location is great -- just 10 miles north of I-270 on the north side of Columbus: it's new and fresh; plenty of parking; the restrooms were spotless; the mall is clean and offers plenty of room for expansion. But -- on the flip side -- there were a number of vacant store-fronts even despite the smaller size than Jeffersonviile and there was a real dearth of food options. Aside from Auntie Anne's pretzels, I think the only on-site dining option was a pizza place that actually looked kind of interesting. But -- there is no food court -- which also means that there's no place -- INSIDE- to sit and wait while your significant other shops. Yes - there are lots of benches and outdoor seating that would be nice on a warmer day but when temps are in the low thirties -- there is a real lack of options for seating in a warm area. Finally, as others have commented - the days of the "real" outlet malls are gone. The outlet malls of today are just another distribution channel and they don't really offer any major discounts over the sale prices and specials that you can find at malls like the Polaris Mall or Tuttle Mall. read more

Always a great experience. It's a great outdoor mall with plenty of benches and cool shady areas. It's clean and the restrooms are consistently clean and well stocked. I like the fountain area. It's well laid out and easy to get around. Great accessibility for wheelchairs. read more

Better than many of the run down outlet malls. Most store are stocked and they have good brands. It was cold but worth a few hours.

A shop-a-holic's dream. Tanger outlets did a nice job with this Columbus design. Indoor/outdoor feel with plenty of cozy seating everywhere. I found a charging station, genius! Stores include sporty styles like Nike and Under Armer to classic styles like Cole Haan, J. Crew and premium brands like coach and Micheal Kors with everything in between. The only downfall was the lack of eateries. They have a pizza spot, auntie Anne's and starbucks. They had a a Ben and Jerry's in the center isle if you just need a snack. The nearest food place just outside tanger includes a burger King and a Dennys. I would suggest eating prior to coming! The parking is bountiful and this outlet is right off the main freeway making it easy to access and quick to enter and exit. Hope to find you here because I am sure to be here often. read more

Made my first visit today and found a few bargains for my grandchildren in the Carter and Old Navy Store!!! Very nicely laid out - no food really- but we managed! LOL Michael Kors, Converse, Carters, Old Navy and Wilsons were having good clearance deals! The restrooms are clean and spacious! It's only a 20 min car ride so will definitely visit again!!! I like it much better than Jeffersonville! read more

Finally! Finally! Like the stereotype, I love shopping and am overly excited to have outlets close! This place is gorgeous! Not just because it's new, but because of the lay out and use of space. Compared to the Tanger Outlets at Jeffersonville, they have a lot more higher end options... Ugg, Torrid, Coach, etc. Yes! Ugg! They may be ugly, but most of what I have are worth it due to comfort and durability. The only downer is that they don't currently have food options beyond Aunti Anne's pretzels and Starbucks. The future hold food on the outskirts, but be warned that there's no food court. read more

Visited the new outlet mall twice over the weekend. Really enjoy the layout of the mall itself. Pretty much a big figure 8 layout. The variety of the stores is pretty well balanced between male and female. Most of the stores offered some great deals, a few others were no different than polaris or easton. The parking situation understandably needs some work. I expected delays being that its so new. Hopefully they will get it figured out soon. Honestly we had no trouble getting into the parking lot, it was trying to get back to 71 when we left that was the challenge. I will be returning often since its only a 20 minute drive from my house. read more

One of the first outlet malls I've actually liked. Easy access off the highway. Big parking lots, but we were able to park pretty close. Huge, but new and well-organized. All the baby clothes stores were next to each other, making shopping much more convenient. Nice aisles between the stores, clean bathrooms, all in all a good visit. I"m sure we'll be back. read more

Very nice outlets in good proximity to Columbus! The shopping center is large, with plentiful parking. There is a myriad of stores and the available maps came in handy in locating what we needed. The center is very nicely laid out, with a lot of benches, restaurants and bathrooms spread throughout, and lovely touches like fountains. There is a fun kid's play area available in one of the outdoor areas. They also offer some events, so check their calendar! read more

I love shopping here! Even though it's a 30-40 min drive, the discounts are so worth it! Love going to Polo, Express, Aeropostale, and Aldo for the deals! They have Victoria's Secret and bath and body works but the prices are the same as the regular stores there. The only real food here is subway and auntie annes so I wish they had more food options but the prices at the outlet stores are great! read more

I was in Columbus last week and got a chance to go by their Tanger Outlet Mall. It was not a bad drive to get there. Thia outlet mall is a very nice size and have great stores (stores that I live to shop at), such as Old Navy, Ugg, Victoria Secret, Bath & Body Works, Kate Spade, Michael Kors and they have a Subway and a Rise Pizza Pie which have great pizzas. I found some very good deals at Old Navy. When I visit this area again I will definitely come back. read more

I have to begin by saying that I am not a huge fan of outlet malls. I find them to be too large and overwhelming. They're not convenient if you're hoping to stop by a few quick shops. Tanger outlets changed my mind about that! I stopped at Tanger with friends as we were driving from Columbus to Cleveland. We had 3 stores we wanted to stop at--Kate Spade, Vera Bradley and Sperry. We were able to quickly and easily identify the locations of these stores. There were large, electronic, interactive maps as well as paper maps available for visitors. The 3 stores we stopped in were all easy to find, fully stocked and offering great sales. I appreciate that restaurants were conveniently located throughout the outlet mall and restrooms were clean and easily accessible. I really enjoyed my visit to Tanger Outlets and I know that I will be back, for a longer shopping trip next time! read more

The Hype far outweighs the reality...... The streets and parking around this mall were designed with bottlenecks, so prepare to wait in traffic and search for parking. Love this outlet mall. Only been there a few times but each time it's been great. It's a task sometimes to find a parking spot that isn't in the boonies but it's worth it. We went yesterday to do the last of our Christmas shopping and we had a nice time. We got Starbucks and walked around. It was decorated really nicely for the holidays, all of the employees we came in contact with were very pleasant, the digital map notes are awesome, and they have almost every store I could ever want or need. read more

Great addition to the Northeastern suburban area of Columbus. Well laid out and nicely designed area with room to grow. Store selections are great. Nice casual seating throughout the open areas for guests to mingle and relax from the day of shopping. Hopefully the area is kept up and a few more stores venture to this plaza. read more

This ranger outlets location is newer. The stores are very clean and generally offer great deals. I do find that some of the stores offer the same price and merchandise as your local stores. That is something to consider when shopping for the best deals. Stores such as Banana Republic and The Loft always seem to have the best sales in my opinion. read more

So disappointed! Outlet malls really don't have deals anymore. A lot of the stores I went into, their items were really close to retail price. Not worth the trip...at all. Might as well shop at the mall closest to you because you will be paying the same rates. I will say, the set up is that of the outlet mall in Vegas. Be warned this isn't a true outlet mall as most of the stores are not outlets, just the normal store. I would say it is about 70 percent normal stores and 30 percent outlets. The design and layout is really nice. Lots of shade cover and very clean. Plently of places to take a seat and enjoy the landscaping. There is a play area for the kids located conveniently by the Toys R Us. There is not much in the way of food. read more

Wonderful selection of factory outlet stores. Columbus was already a great place to go shopping but the Tanger outlet mall puts the icing all over the cake. If there is a retailer or store that you enjoy, chances are they have it. Easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing. read more

Visited Tanger for Black Friday deals. The outlets opened at 6pm on Thanksgiving and will remain open until 10pm Friday. I shopped the outlets at midnight just because they were open all night. It was a great experience! Employees were friendly and helpful. Other customers were nice, everyone was in a good mood. It wasn't terribly busy and stores weren't too crowded, it made shopping enjoyable. The Black Friday deals were really good in many of the stores. A great place to shop for deals. read more

I don't have to drive close to 2 hours anymore!!!!! The mall is very pretty and modern. There are all sorts of outdoor seating options from stools and pub tables to seats around a fire pit which will come in handy when it gets chilly - no rush! And they even had a charging station where those who wait for their companions to come out of a store can sit and charge up their electronics. Cool! And the play areas for kids are great. Parking was a pain in the butt for the grand opening weekend but on a week day or non-holiday weekend it's better (Yes! I've been more than once) They have all the stores you could want from Carters to Coach, Nike to North Face and more. One issue I had is that not all of the stores are outlets. Some are regular like any other place stores (talking about you VS) and some are hybrids where part of the store is regular and one section is outlet priced. Outlet or not, it's still a great place to score some deals or to take a stroll while someone else goes shopping. read more

As I live nearby, I chose to be a late adopter of this relatively new mall but, I've learned the layout and find it to be a fantastic asset to the area. While not all stores are true brand "outlet" stores with outlet/clearance level pricing, you need to pay attention to which ones are which (Ie. Bass is an outlet store, Nike is not). Still some great great brands and bargains to be found, you just need to look for them. read more

They could have done so much more! I'll come back, but I wish it was better. One way in and out is silly. The majority of the seating at this outdoor mall is metal. I was there yesterday and it was 90 degrees out and the tables were scorching. There are umbrellas that shaded about a tenth of it and you could see people squeezing themselves into that small space so as to avoid burns from the rest of the table. The fountain wasn't on and I know my 2 year old would have loved it, but I'll assume they're working out the kinks. There are 2 places to eat, a pizza place and Auntie Anne's. Auntie Anne's had a line so I wasn't going to attempt it whilst wrestling my kids. There are also a few kiosk vendors selling hot dogs and such. My husband bought a Diet Pepsi in a can from one and said it was lukewarm. I went into the Jockey 'outlet' and was disappointed the undies were $13, the exact same price as Macy's (where I went later that day, hoping they'd be on sale.) We did like the North Face outlet a lot and the Under Armour outlet was nice. The true gem to this place is the playground for kids. I'd say best for ages 3-7, but my 2.5 year old did okay. It's fenced, which makes me so incredibly happy, and quite large. There's a rather tall climbing wall that made me nervous, but tall climbing walls and high drop-offs appear to be standard at playgrounds, so the problem must lie with me. read more

The outlet stores were all great and friendly. The biggest problem I have is with customer service st both outlets. I am a aarp member but don't like carrying all those cards. I wanted the coupon book but she refused to give it to me because I didn't have the card. Really??? I had my drivers license... really!!! It's a coupon booklet for crying out loud!
