Today I came into kohl's for an Amazon return. I stopped by the Sephora to see if I could get my birthday gift! I was a bit nervous asking because I wasn't buying anything. However Ireri Janeth helped me and made me feel so welcomed and appreciated! I asked what my options were for my birthday gift and she presented me with 4 options! They were all really good so I asked for her help deciding and she told me good things about each product! She even got scent samples of the burberry perfume and cologne so I could see if I liked if before selecting that gift! She was so helpful and kind, it was such a positive experience. "Christian" the young lady who seemed to be a cleaner; was absolutely outstanding with a very bubbly personality and was being very helpful as well as welcoming. Cleaned out a stall for me and gave me helpful advice on some dresses. Not sure why they have such a petite lady as a janitor but wow it is surely impressive as the store seems very clean! read more

I love coming to kohl's they always have some good sales going on and lots of clothes to choose from. I usually come here to get shoes and they have a very good selection from work shoes to hiking boots. I came to this location to return an Amazon item about ten minutes before closing time. I tried using the handicap push button door opener but it didn't work. I tried opening up one of the doors but it was locked. I tried opening the other door but it was also locked. There was an employee fixing the products on the table that was located right in front of that entrance but she didn't react. She kept fixing the products even though she could hear me trying to open up the door (since it made loud noises after each of my attempts). I walked to the other door that was located to the left of that door and I was finally able to get in. My complaint is that the employee knew those doors in front of her were locked (since she was managing the doors) and yet she didn't bother redirecting me to the door that she had left open. I'm sure she was anxious to close but that type of service is unacceptable. read more

I stopped in to the Kohl's store at the corona crossings on 7/12/23 at 6:51pm. I was searching for a birthday gift for my niece who is turning three. I work three jobs, therefore I do not have a lot of free time. I saw the sign saying that all girls sandals were buy one get one for a dollar, directly below that I grabbed the reef sandals for girls. I waited in line for several minutes, got up to the front and they said they were not honoring that promotion. I told them what the sign said and they told me to go back to that department, so I did. An associate met me there and told me that this particular sign did not apply to reef sandals. I said well, then your sign should have excluded them and also it was misrepresenting because it was directly above them. Brenda, the manager on duty was called over, she said they weren't honoring the posted sign. So I picked out a shirt and got back in line and had to wait again. I understand marketing, however, I have worked in retail and I know that if I sign is wrong, then we would honor it. I don't have a lot of money, and I don't have a lot of time, so this whole trip was very disappointing. read more

I worked there a month ago and it was a decent job but the only thing I'm mad about is they ghosted me. I started in November and it was a seasonal position so I was supposed work until January. Well beginning of December they told me they will call me to tell me my next shift. They never did. I called them they said the same thing. The lady at the counter said, it shows on the receipt but I told her even if it shows on the receipt it is too late since the card is already purchased. Kohls really knows how to get people in the store. Not really a fan of their clothing, I do go for the designer items they sell as well as for the coupons they constantly mail out. I have gotten a ton of clothing for my son here, things for the home, jewelry, all really great quality for the price. Beware of gift cards for Kohls. Card purchased as gift on 6.12.2022 at 11:42 am at Ralphs in Santa Clarita CA. Someone used the card at Kohls in Simi Valley at 9:49 PM the same day. Wife tried to use it on 7.2.2022. PIN # was still covered. I have been in contact with both Ralphs and Kohls. Kohls is investigating...I think that I know what that means. Maybe out of luck. I have since learned that there is software that will scan the number and identify the four digit PIN number once the bad guy has the card number. Per research it is a 10-minute process to ID the PIN#. The pert then checks the card and once a balance is loaded, they can use your money to buy stuff. If the cards are on an unsecured rack, the cards are exposed to this level of fraud. read more

Such bad customer service. After reading the reviews of the people in the jewelry department Karen and the manager Maryann, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. She told me that I could not return my item bec it was jewelry. I went home and looked up the policy and that only applies to premium electronics. I don't think that they should have managers in place that don't know the store policy esp when kohls boasts about easy no hassle returns. The elderly lady Karen there made me feel like I stole what I was returning and she called me an oriental. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. I shopped at this store when I was in the area. I discovered they have a Petite Section, bonus points as many of us ladies are not average in size. Our torso and limbs are shorter than average and average size clothes look ridiculous on us. I'd like to see more stylish Petite cloths in the Petite section. Some, not all, of the items were a bit matronly. Fair pricing. Great sales! Store was clean. Store is a bit dated. It could use an update, but if the cost to update will be passed onto shoppers, never mind. Staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. read more

I immediately noticed this and told the female employee working the counter. She made a face and appeared to be inconvenienced. Love it ... Love it..... Since I found Kohl's I have a new favorite place to shop. I can find things for myself, my son, and my husband. The cloths are nice and in the current style. Watch for sales they often have items 40 to 50% off. I just purchased 6 pairs of pants, 2 tops, 3 baby outfits and I paid less then $150.00. Give it a try. just one thing to make the shopping experience better.. go during the week. They do not keep up with putting the items away during the weekend. Some dressing rooms were so packed with items you could not use them. read more

Update: Kohl's.com realized the mistake store made in return and sent me kohl's cash..never called it was just sent! Ana Morales how do you feel now? Horrible return policy! Returned my items with barcode on receipt but receipt was cut off and was told that because the computer went down from power outage yesterday they are having trouble pulling it up. So manager Ana Morales takes off 10% discount and refuses to add the taxes on the return! I don't have a problem with the 10% I get the computers went down! What I don't get is why not return my taxes? She goes in circles and basically trying to blame us for the issue. I have my barcode that should be all you need! I had customer service email me a copy because I lost my receipt and they informed me that was all I needed...yet Ana didn't agree! She basically accused us of lying about the receipt...how, I brought the receipt with barcode in tow so how am I doing anything wrong? Did I know your machines would have a problem pulling it up? Absolutely not! Please speak to others as you would like to be spoke to! Very rude, horrible customer service! From the looks of the reviews same problem! Have 3 watches that all came from this store. All 3 have dead batteries. Went in to get the battery changed in one and was very rudely told by the manger that they do not change batteries. She was insistent on not helping me. Besides that.....this store is always a disaster. Clothes and shoes everywhere. Nothing seems to be where it belongs and the staff seen to just let it happen. If you're considering going here for men's pants do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I have never seen the level of disorganization that this location suffers from. Sizes were completely out of place brands were mixed all over the place. It's very evident that this location has a management team that does not care. Now if you manage to find what you need you'll then be faced with a 10 minute wait in line since the cashiers try to hard sell the crap out of the Kohl's card. I get it you have to offer it, it's part of the job, but when I say no you continously try to sell me on it just wastes my time, your time and the other's in lines time. I've shopped at probably 3-4 other Kohls locations and this is the first terrible experience I've ever had. But hey at least the bathroom was clean and well stocked that earns them the one star. Mom bought me a gift card for Christmas at this location. Just tried to use it, was already used in Northridge ca. The same day she bought it.
