Upon entering, there was a 20% off everything sign, so I was off to a good start. It's like Goodwill, but better. A good portion of the store is dedicated to shoes. It's nice to look for shoes with a box and both shoes. I mostly focused on the women clothes and found 3 nice summer blouses for work and white pants. All their blouses seemed to be $4.99 and they had tons of options. The pants were $6.99 plus the discount. I also found big shopping bags like the ones you get at Ross -2 for $1. Great deal. They had purses, backpacks, toys, kitchenware and more. It was worth the trip for me and plan on returning. I didn't take pictures. Next time.

I used to be a frequent shopper here when I had to wear suits daily and traveled to the burg often. They still carry the top quality brands such as Barbour, Burberry, Duck Head and others, even the salesman is a legend having worked at the shop since the 1980's. I was looking for some trousers and recalled they carried Bill's Kakis. I tried on a pair that was from the same manufacturer. A 36/34 was a perfect fit on the waist, but needed the length taken in. They still offer free in-house tailoring services. The no pressure sales makes purchases easy. The gentlemen working the shop no the business inside and out. Due to the fact everything they carry is quality materials with exceptional services they are pricey. In my opinion worth the price point. It's literally impossible to find these shops. They will mail your alterations for a fee, or you need to do in store pick up. Turn around is typically within the same week. However, if a rush is needed let them know. My most recent visit to the J.Crew outlet in Williamsburg resulted in a dress, shirt, AND skirt purchase. I probably only bought the shirt and the skirt because they are both neon pink, and if you know me, then you know my affinity for neon. It's ok, though, I already have plans for the skirt during my trip to Savannah and Hilton Head next week. The dress, on the other hand, is a perfect LBD that you'd never even guess was from J.Crew! The fit is perfect, the style is timeless, and it's so versatile that I can wear it with sandals for a cookout or with heels and some bling for a cocktail party. For real, you should probably go get yourself one, ladies (I'm sure they still have it, I just got it 1.5 weeks ago!). Mike sized me up and was immediately on the phone to order my suit from his supplier, with expedited shipping at no extra charge. The price was a bit more than I'd pay at Men's Warehouse, but not a whole lot more, and the garments are of noticeably higher quality, and each suit comes with lifetime free alterations. He called me the minute it came in, and I went down to try it on. It fit great, and looked great, but I immediately noticed it was a charcoal grey, rather than the lighter grey I wanted, and which I heard Mike order on the phone. In short, I knew it was the supplier's mistake, not the Shop's. But Mike didn't pass the buck, didn't explain it away. He took accountability for his supplier's mistake, and had the charcoal suit altered for me to use in my interview, and ordered the correct grey one for me when I get back. I was expecting to give back the charcoal one, but when I returned to try on the altered suit, he insisted I keep both for the trouble. I was blown away. Mike's words were "I do business the right way, the way it used to be done". Indeed. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
