I don't particularly shop here. I just utilize Amazon returns. It makes life so much easier and convenient to do returns. This is just for AMAZON returns at Kohl's. The store appears to be well stocked, clean, busy, long lines of customers, multiple registers. This is just from mere observation as you walk into Kohl's the Amazon return center greets immediately to your right. You get a bird's eye view of the store and layout. All employees that I have encountered at the Amazon returns desk have kind and friendly. This Kohl's I dont think I have gotten the pleasure to enter, but my friends and I did the drive up and man it's so fast and easy. We order online and get notified when our order is ready for pick up. Then going to the spot designated for online pickup, a kohl's worker brings it out to us and puts it in our trunk. What's impressed me more than just Kohl's alone is how shopping around the Buena Park Mall has become so much more satisfying than I feel it ever has before. The environment overall--the open parking stalls, the much more relaxed atmosphere (shoppers, drivers, and pedestrians alike are just taking it easy and not in aggressive hurries), and added that everywhere seems clean and well maintained--is a needed relief. It's nice. So Kohl's is here, right across the street from BPM. Although I don't usually find myself shopping at Kohl's at all, not for any other reason than I haven't ever thought I needed to, they do offer something of importance: an Amazon Returns counter. (This goes for all Kohl's, by the way.) If you have a return, you can bring it by, and they'll take it off your hands...for free! And they'll do it with a smile, no less. How about that? If you're returning Amazon shipments, just make sure you are at the Amazon Returns counter. Sales counters will redirect you, so know before you go. Along with a few pleasant smiles that are shared around the store, and of course due to its great location, I applaud Kohl's. What happened to this store? I previously wrote a nice review, but after today I doubt I will ever go back here. I came in today with their sale ad which included a 20% off coupon good for clothing. I needed shoes and shirts. The ad stated they had New Balance shoes and Newport Blue shirts on sale. I started with the shoes. I like New Balance and found quite a few of that brand along the wall, so I spent a long time digging through them all for my size (12 Wide) and found 5 pair. I tried them all on, and since they were on sale AND I had the coupon... I decided to buy all 5 pair. If you are familiar with Kohl's, you know you really can't figure out a price on most of the shoes... they are all over the place, many are not priced, they are on the floor, on the wrong racks... everything is all mixed up in the shoe area. But since I knew the New Balance shoes were on sale and I also had my coupon, I put them in my cart and went to look for the shirts. I wandered around all the men's clothing area for a very long time and couldn't find the Newport Blue shirts. I wanted to ask someone for help, but there was no one working out on the sales floor and the cashier had a line so I couldn't ask her. So I just wandered around for like 20 minutes. Eventually a young lady walked by and I was able to ask for help. ME: "Excuse me, I can't find these Newport Blue shirts that are in your ad. Do you know where they are?" HER: "Let me see the ad... No, I haven't seen that brand here. We don't carry that brand in the store." ME: "Hmmm... well, this is your ad, right?" HER: "Yes, that a Kohl's ad, but we don't carry Newport Blue. I've been here a long time and I know I've never seen that brand here." ME: "But I bought a bunch of Newport Blue shirts here last season. Are you sure they aren't here somewhere?" HER: "Yes, I'm sure. We don't carry those here." So at this point, I am tired and I no longer cared about the shirts and just wanted to buy my shoes and get out of there. I thanked her for her non-help and went to the register to check out. And at the register, I found out NONE of my New Balance shoes were on sale. Yes, none. And, not only that... but the 20% coupon from the ad does not apply to New Balance. The small print on the coupon itself doesn't exclude New Balance, but there is a long list of exclusions they keep handy there at the register and New Balance is on that list. So, that's it for me and my family... bye-bye Kohl's. You can keep your clothes and fake coupons and phony promotions. Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx and all the rest are not far away. read more

-We have visited this store a couple of times due to the Amazon drop off they have inside the store. We always get sucked in after because they always give a 25% off coupon on all your purchase which is good for 7 days from the day they print the coupon. -I'm not a huge fan of Kohl's but they have decent stuff here. The store is always organized and clean. I'm not a big fan of their clothes but they do have cute stuff here and there. I do think that if you don't have a coupon and you pay full price it is a little expensive for what you are getting. -The last trip we bought a few things and took advantage of the coupon we received after we dropped off Amazon returns. The nice girl at the register was very friendly and outgoing that I decided to sign up for their free rewards program. We will be back again. read more

I went here because I got my yearly kohls card coupon for 30% off my order (kind of a great deal because I wanted some new cute clothes other then my work stuff-spent $219 and saved $264). HOWEVER, after paying this card off.. I will be closing my account and you will NEVER see me in a kohls ever again! I went back and forth trying on different items, what I noticed was odd was there is UNISEX dressing rooms.. Fine, it's 2015 I'm an adult, I can handle this.. However, the slats on the doors are completely see thru! So I kept hanging my clothes on the door to sort what I was trying on but to HIDE MYSELF from guys if they just so happened to come into the WOMEN'S section to try on clothes! As I was trying on some items I found by the front cashier (where "Alex" was standing and greeting people), I heard a guy's voice talking through the dressing room, since this is a unisex dressing room, I didn't react really, just kept trying stuff on as he passed... When I pulled my shirt over my head and looked in the mirror, I saw Alex, the worker from the front look over and into my dressing room! This is when I realized not only is Alex tall, but these dressing room doors are super short! Alex saw me TOPLESS, TWICE!!! Fucking creep! Many questions went through my head: why is a tall ass guy walking the short doored dressing rooms? Why is the tall ass guy go from greeting at the door to checking the women's sections dressing room? Why is this WORKER looking INTO/OVER the dressing room doors!? TWICE?!? I immediately stopped looking at items, my shopping experience was over.. I felt completely VIOLATED!! When I left the dressing room I saw Alex walking the store with a smile on his face which creeped me out even more! How often does he do this to unsuspecting women?! If they're scared of loss prevention they need to come up with something less invading of privacy- maybe have less dressing rooms, segregate them for the sexes and actually have the same sex monitoring how many items you take in! I hung out by the jewelry department waiting to see if I could get an associates attention enough to tell them how upset I was, he just kept watching me.. Ughh I'm still sickened by his looks! I finally went over to customer care and told them (turning red with humiliation).. When I was walking away, he started walking towards that area... I explained to them that they shouldn't have a tall ass guy checking the dressing rooms as I saw him look straight over the door.. Since I work in retail I'm sure they just assumed I was stealing since I was upset they were "checking" on me... But no! I don't want to shop for clothes and have some creep see my privates! This guy should be fired, because I'm absolutely positive he knows what he's doing when he walks those rooms.. And they should make some serious changes to their changing areas for the privacy of the people shopping!! So mortified, so disgusted, this literally makes me sick and ruined my fucking month! Parking is not bad at all. What I love about this place is they have a great selections of casual to formal men's wear. Most of which are slim fit. Unlike some other big stores that carry ample amount of large-sized clothing, this store do not just limits its customer by having variety of sizes. It has obese sizes, I meant xxxlarge, to slim fit, to super petite. I got some of my stylish dress shirts , and trendy slim fit trousers in this store, and I sometimes get compliments wearing them. This store like some store is not strict on their return policy. I remember a friend grabbing a pair of slip on formal leather shoes on his way to work for me so I can use it on my job interview. After my interview, I gave it back to him, and he returned it back to the store, and got a full refund. Winning. I got the job btw. They sometimes have clearance but hello, the clothing for clearance either are outdated ones or the not-so-nice, probably the returned ones. The prices are so expensive. Even if they're on sale some of their products are still pricey. They do have kohl's cash (determined depending how much you buy) however, that you can use on your next visit. My husband went in to return something from amazon and the guy who worked there was very unprofessional and rude. When you return amazon product it clearly states there is no box or print label needed! However we even brought the box in that came with the item and the worker there asked if the item is able to fit in the box since we did not seal it. My husband said yes and he gave him dirty look and sighed. WTF!!! We even said thank you after and he did not respond at all. Overall I like shopping at Kohl's. I have visited this location several times. I tend to park and enter the store by the Men's clothing and shoes area because for me it is easier to get in and out. On this particular visit, I needed to get a new pair of jeans. I go to the Levi's and I start getting the pairs I want to try on. I go into the dressing room and see that it's clean! No clothes in the little rooms and since it wasn't busy, I could easily try on the pants without any distractions. Kohl's tends to have a lot of sales going on, which for the most part I love. For the jeans, they were buy 1 get another pair 1/2 off. I found two perfect pairs, but I saw the price and I couldn't believe it. One was $54.99 and the other was $39.99. In this economy and the sale, I was not about to spend roughly $80 for two pairs of Levi's. So I put them back and look around at the other jeans. Found Urbane Pipeline jeans for half the price of the Levi's. And in this economy, jeans are jeans. Check out time! But first, I wanted to make sure the sale price listed was what I would be paying. Because after all, merchandise tends to get put in the wrong area, whether it be by customers or employees. I look around for a price scanner. I for sure thought there would be one near me, but I couldn't find it. Am I blind or something. So I go looking for one. Finally found one in the back by the towels and men's dress shirts. Scan the tags and sure enough, the sale price was listed. Score!! Back to the checkout counter. There was one female employee, who I thought was very cute, at the register and four customers, including me, in line. Next to the female employee stood a male employee. And all he did was just lean up against the little wall and talk to the female employee every chance he could. Although the line was moving fairly quickly, it just seemed like he was lazy and watching her do all the work. Will this review keep me from shopping at Kohl's. Not too mention that this is located across the street is a Beef Combo dipped with hot peppers waiting for me at Portillo's. Make sure to use their in store wifi if you forgot to bring a coupon. How many other customers are at this disadvantage? I bought a suitcase from cohl,s store last year, and the cashier said they would give me a discount if I signed up for a membership. I signed up and I did not receive a membership card, only a statement. I went to the store in Buena Park, showed the statement, and paid $144.59. Then, I called the number given by the cashier and signed up for membership. The cohl's card came and I didn't activate it. When I checked my mail, there was another amount in kohl's statement. I didn't use kohl's card. So I called 855-564-5748. statement has previous balance : 176.84 payment : 144.59 fee :0.00 interest charges 2.99 new balance : 35.24 The first person to answer the phone was a woman named Candy. I said I took the statement to Buena Park kohl's last year, and the cashier only charged this amount. Even then, it was about two months late, and there was no rate charge in that statement. It's all paid off, but I asked how can I get a late charge on my statement. A woman named Candy said that. If I pay the interest fee of $6.96 right now over the phone, she will give me zero balance. So, I can't pay without a statement, and if I pay, I need a receipt. I'd rather talk to cohl's supervisor, and when I ask for a phone number, they say that there is no direct phone number. I hung up and called again. The second was a guy named wayne. Me and the second person had the same conversation with the first girl, Candy, and the second guy said to me that if I pay $49.49, I will make me zero balance. So I talked to him. I asked him how he could charge a customer without a statement and not give the customer a receipt. I've already gone and paid for everything myself, and kohl's won't allow me to charge me in the wrong way anymore, and I won't pay. If you keep sending me statements, I'll collect them all and let all people know that you're scamming me.
