Getting excited about buying new clothes is about as exciting for me as facing a tire rotation. Basically it's a long painful process that requires a great deal of patience. However, when my children need clothes, I transform into a draconian ruler with no bounds. I fuel myself up with a healthy fruit smoothie, stretch myself out with deep knee bends, to boost my standing powers and my attention deficit disorders. I focus like an astronaut at lift off, with my facial muscles pulled taunt, while fighting the forces of gravity, as I brave facing the dangers of space with my crew, and drive off with dedication, ignoring the multiple questions meant to sidetrack me. Entering the massive store, my eyes zeroed in on several possible selections. My family divided up into separate directions for their conquests. With my military mind ticking off my structured time schedule, my son became distracted with quirky shirts and their humorless comments. I adjusted my rigid schedule, to feed the young and curious mind; however the effort became dead space while reading off the various shirt themes. "VOTE FOR NOBODY!" Will encourage anarchy, I declared. "Three ways to get rid of an annoying sister!" Will start a war, since he has three. "My life is all about playing video games!" Will promote unemployment. "I'm so perfect, pay attention to me!" Will lead to narcissism. "The words, "My Dad" ( near a picture of MacDonald fries...and a lesser than mathematical sign towards the word Dad.) Will promote obesity and disrespect. So after much debating, two shirts were chosen, and one glows in the dark with a prehistorical figurine, and the other a more dignified shirt for playing golf. At the checkout register we all gathered, with numerous items, that seemed to morph into a potential debate of overspending at home, and the price was ringing up fast, like a multiple car pile up on a heavily foggy freeway. The clerk understood my fixed stare, and gently pried the cell phone from my clenched fingers, easily typed in the store's website, clicked on a few discounts for the days, and surprisingly the total dropped substantially to a non threatening sum. We all sighed at the awesomeness of the moment. Leaving the store we were overcome by the chokingly dry 96 degree heat, and with the vision of the snow covered Rockies teasing our senses on the horizon; it was hard not to make a comment. Arrogantly, I pointed out the absurdity of the two climates, and that the coolness of the mountains should blow in to relieve us. We retreated to our car, joyous for the successful hunt. However upon entering the vehicle, my son leaned forward between myself and the other front occupant, to see what was in our bags, and we all three clunked heads together in one big BANG! Like an old three stooges movie, where my role was, 'Mo', a loud scream erupted from my throat, to chastise the youngest stooge, as the bump on my head continued to grow. Needless to say I became quite testy. So yes, this store has exciting treasures, and yes a very helpful staff to save you money, and yes you might leave with many bags of new garments. Unfortunately the consumers will become so excited, that they may cause you bodily injury. Borrowing your son's skateboarding helmet might be necessary before re-entering your vehicle, and avoiding comments against the weather as well, are contributory suggestions. I drove from Colorado Springs to Aurora to purchase the last two pair of a certain type of leggings for my daughter. Kendra was exceptional in helping with putting them on hold for me. And Jessica and the manager on duty that day were very helpful in checking out that day with a coupon. Thank You Kendra! It was my first time in this store. The one thing I noticed was the customer service counter should be in the front of the store, not ALL the way in the back of the store. read more

I walked in 20 minutes before closing just to try on a jacket and was told by an employee that the store was closing and that I need to bring my purchases to the front. I didn't know this location closes 20 minutes prior to their posted time!! read more

I love this store!!!! There is always great sales and the staff is so friendly and helpful!!! The products are well made and the variety of items sold makes choosing one a lot of fun. I even got an extra 15% off at the register when I was checking out because I have a Kohl's card. read more

Have I mentioned yet how much I LOVE Kohls? :) Donna assisted me with my very first online store pick up. She was very professional & courteous. I mentioned my mistake of typing in the wrong coupon code for my qualifying purchase, and asked how I could get $5 credited back to my Kohls charge card. Customer Service rep, Linda, gave me the 800 number to the online store, but went above and beyond and gave me $10 in Kohls cash! I was so pleasantly surprised by her amazing customer service, especially since it was my error to begin with! Employees like Linda, continually make my experience at Kohls a truly wonderful one, and the reason why Kohls is my preferred store. If Kohls ever decided to sell groceries, it'd truly be my only store I'd shop at ;) read more

Worst customer service ever. If you like to wait and wait then be treated like you do not matter at all. Then you have found the right store. And do not complain or they will dismiss you completely, because rather than try to resolve the miscommunication they take it personally and actually tell you they do not need your business. I love this Kohl's! The new shopping center is fabulous, and it brightened up the area a lot. This Kohl's has so many departments, and everything is organized. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. The only reason why I didn't give a fifth star is because I want to come back here again to see what kind of other shopping discoveries I can make! read more

I went to this store today,y a Tuesday morning before Christmas (on Friday), thinking I would miss the crowds with my 4 month old daughter. I first had a return which was fine and then as I was leaving I decide to check out kids in passing. I looked at a few things not once putting anything in or near my daughters stroller. I was shopping for less than 5 min when a man from security came over to pretend to be shopping right next to me. I came to this store in the morning on a Tuesday before Christmas on Friday hoping for peaceful experience.. Well feeling like I had been labeled a criminal I decided against purchasing anything and left. I won't be returning to this kohl's. I understand that my child stroller might cause concern to security, but my shopping experience would have been nicer if they would just use there security cameras before stalking me and my daughter. I gave them no reason to think I needed a personal security guy to follow us. Happy Holidays! read more
