Really just average thai food but if you're in the city and want something that is adequate then I would go here. The ambience is nice and the best bet is go at 5th if you want dinner but since they are still serving off the lunch menu, two can eat for just over 200 SEK for entrée, appetizer and two drinks..not too bad. read more

We found this place by chance. There was a decent sized crowd at the outside seating area so we got in line and headed inside. It is very dark inside. Just follow the Holiday lights and watch out for the glow-in-the-dark tigers and other painted murals that leap out at you. The only reason we decided to try this place is because we didn't feel like wandering around for an hour trying to find a place that looked decent. After we were seated, we promptly ordered two vegetarian meals. Accustomed to being routinely disappointed by cheap, poorly flavored, and prepared Asian cuisine back in the states, I did not expect much...but my grumbling tummy begged me to press on with an order. The Pat Pak King and Tzai Satey if I recall correctly. Both dishes had been very good. I was a bit concerned about the level of heat. But it turned out to be hot and not fire breathing, and had really great flavor. The service was awful. One glass of water and that was it. This guys (me) puts away at least a pitcher on his own let alone the rest of the table. So big mistake there. Had to really flag the waitress down to get the bill. This may be a European thing so I tried not to let it get under my skin. All in all pretty good. Everyone looked to be having a good time. If we ever ran out of new places to eat in Stockholm I believe we would go back. read more

The experience was overall exellent. The place it self was very unique, fun and relaxed. The food was also extremely good, better than what i expected. Everything was nice and spicy, the portions were large and the food came really fast, less than 20 minutes. And on top of that the dishes looked beautiful. The waiters were nice and the service was superb, the only downside was that it took a long time to get the bill, however that might be do to the vast amount of customers they had, so it's not a big deal. I'd recommend this place to anyone who love good authentic thai food and a fun night out. read more

I was torn about this place. Service was iffy. They mistakenly delivered a bowl of soup that we hadn't ordered, there ended up being a hair on one of the entree plates, and apparently, it's not possible to order the Thai coffee without alcohol in it, but that said, we did end up enjoying our meal all the same. I ordered the papaya salad, which was listed as very hot, but was just "regular" spicy. Still good though. I also ordered the fried spring roll appetizer, which was good, and then a stir fry seafood and mixed veggie dish, which was really good. My friend ordered the Tom kha soup with chicken (I'd wanted Tom yum soup, but apparently you could only get that on the dinner menu), and a stir fried pork with egg noodles. I had to ask for a side of fish sauce since they only had Maggi sauce on the tables. Ambiance of the place is meant to suggest a tropical vibe. A bit of a head scratcher. We're in town for another 36 hours and may try this place again to see if the second time is the charm. read more

Awesome!!!! Saw this place online and the lights drew me in like a moth to a light!!! It was such a fun atmosphere and really exciting to eat at! The Thai food was pretty Dang good and that surprised me!! The service was awesome and drinks were fabulous! I had a passion fruit cocktail and it we DELICIOUS!!!!!! What an experience! I came here with my friends family and we had a blast the whole time! Everywhere you looked there was something to see and hear! The atmosphere is like none other! The dim lighting and colorful accent lights help immerse you in the jungle. This follows by sounds of animals in rainstorms helps to get you in the jungle mindset! As an an English speaking native I was also very happy so see that they had English menus! No more translating! I'm also a vegetarian and was very happy to see that Koh Phangan had a good section of dishes that could accommodate my diet! Upon my foods arrival I was delighted to see how colorful my dish was, and garnished with tropical flowers which resulted in beautiful plating! Along with the food the drinks were just as colorful and flavorful! My party and I spent a long time enjoying our meal and company and I can happily say I would come back and highly recommend Koh Phangan! read more

We decided to stop here after seeing all the lights in the restaurant and did not really know what to expect. How good was the surprise! Not only was the food delicious, but the surroundings are equally as amazing. You'll get to spend your meal next to a tuk-tuk car and besides a river (with real fishes!) while enjoying traditional Thai food with the occasional storm never too far away! read more

Nice, big servings. Flavours are rich, without the food being overly spicey. It is quite pricey and something I ate gave me a bad allergic reaction which makes me reluctant to give more than three stars... Perhaps I'll give it another try in the future read more

We arrived at this restaurant with my 92 year old mother who is awesomely independent and healthy. The host at the front sat us at a table and then called my sister to the front telling her my mother smelled and that she perhaps had had an accident in her diaper. My mother doesn't wear diapers and is one of the cleanest people I know. This is age discrimination. We stayed out of defiance. Food I'd rate a 3 but decor as cheap,as it gets, LOL cheap lighting, cheap thunder bolts. The 1 rating is due to the behavior of the host and the age discrimination. I will never come back. Before you bring your family here, I suggest you support the movement against age discrimination. Shame on you! read more
