This is not your most ambient place, actually if feel more like a chinese restaurant from the 80'ies with wooden planels and benches. It doubles as a karaoke bar late in the evenings.
The restaurant bar, restrooms and reception are located quite far inside the venue, which can cause a little hesitation at first (just keep walking straight ahead).
We went on a Friday night with no reservation (party of two), and it was no problem to get a table. The place is actually quite big. We noticed that it is a polular place for families with small children and toddlers... However, the table arrangements and the wide ailes actually allow for it. It was noisy, but bearable.
We ordered a japanese steak tartare for appetizer (see picture), together with some red wine. The taste of the steak tartare was pleasant and quite different from a regular steak, although the proportion of meat in the meat-cucumber patty was less than half. It was seasoned with sesame oil and soy sauce, and all in all I was quite pleased with my starter.
For main, we shared a plate of entrecote and vegetables cooked in boullion. When the plate arrived the size of the serving was impressive and we had trouble finishing everything. The veggies and the meat were fresh and tasty and our waiter was attentive and service-minded (exchanged by bad glass of wine for another one without hassle).
For two startes and a shared main, a glass of wine and two beers we paid SEK 900. On the pricey side, but ok value for money. read more
