Really solid Thai food! I went for lunch and a woman greeted me and let me know they have about a half dozen dishes you can pick from for their lunch special, can pick 1 or 2 dishes (upcharge for 2), and then there's a salad, tea, and coffee bar for free. I asked for my dishes to be Thai Spicy, and was very pleasantly surprised that (1) She didn't try to talk me out of it, just said OK, and (2) She actually brought deliciously Thai Spicy food. Often it's a fight to get Thai restaurants to serve you their food with real heat in Europe or the US. I got their red curry with chicken, which was quite pleasant, and a very good stir fried pork dish (I forget the name, the menu was in Swedish only and she was translating). The restaurant was very nice inside and well maintained, and the staff was really pleasant. I highly recommend if you are in Stockholm craving a spicy Thai break from all the delicious Swedish meatballs! read more

The Staff here is extremely unprofessional as others have noted , how do you manage to forget your guests for 30mins? Don't eat at a restaurant that treat you like second citizen unless you're Thai. Let me set the stage. My sister was visiting and she wanted Thai food and I said okay we rarely see each other. We came into the store during lunch others and she wanted the main menu. We were denied the main menu because it was lunch hours and the staff inform us it starts at 14.00 OR 14.30. We asked if we could maybe order now and come back later of which they declined so we come back at 14.00 and we were handed our seats and menu, fast forward to 14.30 we're growing extremely hungry because its apparent they forgot us. At 14.45 i manage to wave down a waiter, I told her we've waited for 45mins at this point.. She proceeds to apologize for forgetting and takes our order (side note: we ordered 2 sticky rice) 30mins later we recieve part 1 of our food 15mins after that we recieve part of what's rest. So at this point 45mins later we recieve the final bit of our order..? Except we're missing our sticky rice?? We inquire what happened with it and they say its gonna take another 15 to our surprise and horror and they proceed to ask if we still want it. Well at this point we begrudgingly accept it. But then they come back a few minutes later and tell us its all out?! At this point we can't be asked to care since the meal is basically finished. read more

We walked 30 minutes to get to this restaurant on a Saturday based on Yelp reviews and our desire for Thai food.. and then they told us it sorry, it was booked up. We must have looked disappointed! so she told us to wait at the outside tables for a few minutes and handed us menus. Our hope reappeared. Indeed it was no more than 5-6 minutes when she called us back inside and sat us at a nice table. We ordered raspberry lime cider and a glass of Organic red wine. Both were good. For the entrees we had red curry, pad Thai and papaya salad with seafood. I asked for the Papaya salad spicier and they accommodated. The Papaya salad was fresh and well spiced. The seafood pieces were large and perfectly done - soft and fresh. The chicken pad Thai was also well spiced and mild - with lime and peanut on the side. The noodles were saucy but not overly so. And red curry spices were well rounded and robust. Service was good and the ambience inviting. Bathrooms clean. Definitely recommend this place! read more

Thai food in Sweden? Why the hell not? I have heard about this place's "reputation" long before I even managed to visit here. This is supposed to be a good authentic Thai place in Stockholm and we weren't proven wrong. We came here without a reservation on a Sunday evening, (quite an odd hour to eat) and got seats immediately. Inside, the aroma of the Thai food was dominating the place, but in a good way. A lot of Thai people were sitting and enjoying their food and chattering so it was a good sign. I ordered the deep fried tilapia in red curry sauce (I have been missing this a lot from our local Thai restaurant in Copenhagen - Kalasin, that's now been closed for years!!) - marked with four chilis on the menu, while boyfriend ordered tiger prawn also with red curry sauce with three chili mark on the menu. Our other friend ordered a mild vegetable in green curry with two chili mark. My dish was just as I had expected to be. Deep fried fish in a strong red sauce and it tasted as it should be, satisfying and spicy! I was overjoyed. My boyfriend's tiger prawn was also good and despite the vegetable green curry was very mild, it had every bit of flavor as it should be - perhaps this is more suitable options for Swedes who aren't into spicy food. My dish was priced at 189 SEK and considering it was a whole fish, it was very fair. The tiger prawn was at 169 SEK and the vegetable was somewhere around 149 SEK if I wasn't wrong. It was fairly priced, good food, and great service - all-five star material for a restaurant. If I am visiting Stockholm again in the future, this will definitely be on my list again! read more

Ordered Tofu Phat Thai, Veggie fried rice, Mixed Vegetables, Tom Yum, Good spice on everything that should've been spicy. Veggies were very fresh. Good steamed rice. I was surprised to learn, there are actually a lot of Thai people and Thai restaurants in Stockholm. Walking in to this place, I found myself transported back to Houston to my favorite Thai restaurant. Only this one is much more fancy and doesn't have a bar nor karaoke. So close but so far. Staff here was super friendly. Had red curry and some kind of duck stir fry. Both were excellent. Requested Thai hot and they delivered it!!! The curry was perfect, nice and creamy. Great portion size. Duck was delicious and again they brought the heat on with this one. It was good! Each dish is about 200 sek or about $25 us. Hey, this isn't Houston. I had been to this place before... For some reason, it didn't strike as one of those awesome places where you eagerly want to return. I can't remember what I had that first time. Having traveled a lot this year, I happened to go to Thailand and fell in love with shrimp Pad Thai. When I returned to Stockholm, I tried to find the closest to that Pad Thai. And it was here... (except for the price, obviously) I searched yelp for pad Thai and I knew I had to try this place. I devoured that food... It was feeling like I was back in that restaurant in Thailand... Dined at Tjabba Thai during my first visit to Stockholm in 2017 and liked it so much I came back during my second trip in 2018. Fellow Yelper Eva K. recommended them and I always trust her opinion, especially when it comes to spicy foods. You will not be disappointed if you get the fried tilapia in red curry. I dream about this dish... its so incredibly flavorful and delicious and SPICY. Service is great, would probably need reservation on busy nights. This past time around, I was with a big group and we came in around 8:30pm (they close at 10pm on weekdays), we were seated right away but towards the end we felt a little rushed (but understandably so because they were closing). Rude waiters. Not like the place was crowded but that waitress that seated us was rude. We just asked to be seated by the window, not like we were even demanding or anything but she just flat out said "No stay here". Wasn't sure if she spoke very little English or just flat out rude. Then another waiter approached us, bear in mind we practically just got seated and asked if we were ready to order. We were still recovering from how rude these help or servers are and they're already asking us for our orders. Then we saw the girl help and that other male help talk in their language, looked at us and rolled their eyes. WOW! That really made us uncomfortable, so we decided to leave. Rude and very bad service from the minute we walked in until we left. No one was around to seat us for several minutes. Our waiter was abrupt and impatient. We had to get up and ask for the bill after a long wait for it. No "Thank you" after paying bill and leaving. The food? I'd say mediocre to bad. My Thai wife couldn't drink the Thai ice tea. Fantastic food, friendly service, and reasonable prices! The pad thai and the cashew chicken was some of the best I have had in Europe. All of the ingredients were very fresh and the dishes were well made. There are English menus available and the staff was very helpful. The fish that I had was the best Thai fish I've ever had. It took a bit longer to cook but in the end you get a very yummy dish. I've posted a picture of it as well. We just randomly selected a Thai restaurant when we were walking around the city. We first were a bit hesitant, because the prices were a bit higher than the other restaurants.
