Chipotle infused extra virgin olive oil.
Elyse F.

Located inside of Findlay Market, near Taste of Belgium. When we went, there was a woman manning the sample bar and a man operating the register. Both were friendly. The olive oil is imported from Greece, then infused and bottled right here in Cincinnati. A verity of flavors. Flavors range from regular extra virgin olive oil, to garlic, citrus, or chipotle. There were a couple of flavors that were not being sampled. I saw the cilantro flavored oil after purchasing the chipotle flavor. I wish I had seen it first, I would have purchased that one. I haven't used the olive oil I purchased yet, but I am looking forward to it. It will be interesting to see how it pairs with food. They offer 3 sizes of bottle to chose from. The bottle purchased (and pictured) is their medium sized bottle. If you bring back your empty bottle (of their olive oil,) they will recycle it & give you $1 off your next purchase.

A few of my products from Mt. Kofinas.

We had an unforgettable experience at Pepp & Dolores last night. It's rare that a restaurant…read moremanages to combine incredible food with such genuine, heartfelt hospitality. My husband and I went to dinner for our 10 year anniversary after a very difficult week for our family, and we were honestly too emotionally drained to make decisions. Our server, Jasmine, kindly took the reins and chose our meal for us -- which turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Every single dish she brought out was phenomenal. We started with the artichokes, arancini, and whipped ricotta -- each one better than the last. Then came the lemon pasta, spicy vodka pasta, shrimp, spaghetti and meatballs, and veal scallopini. Everything was absolutely delicious and clearly made with so much care. By the end we were so full we couldn't even attempt dessert. What made the evening truly special, though, was the kindness of the team. Levi, the GM, went so far out of his way to make us feel cared for and welcomed during a moment when we really needed it. The warmth and compassion we experienced there meant more than I can adequately put into words. Restaurants often talk about hospitality, but the team at Pepp & Dolores truly embodies it. Thanks for an evening we will never forget.

They allowed us to bring our own cake. They brought it out on a cake stand for pictures and then took it in the back to cut and serve it to us. They also had a card on the table for my parents. It was a wonderful celebration. Dishes that we tried tonight that were new to us: Mushroom Bisque - 8/10 Bread and Butter - 7/10 Burger - 6/10 Scallops - 7/10 Cannelloni - 8/10 Coffee - 5/10 Our favorites remain the fries with the delicious sauce 10/10 and the vodka rigatoni 10/10. Best smelling bathrooms in the city. Love the house wine, the bar, the patio, and the service!

The first time we went they gave flowers to all the women for Mother's Day. This time though they're weren't flowers, they were very accommodating. My grandmother had an issue with her food, they remade the entire meal though it did take a while they gave her a treat for the long wait. The server and manager were very friendly and apologetic for the inconvenience. The food is 7-8/10. It always comes out fresh and plated nicely. I ordered their chicken sandwich and that was good! My family shared a lot of our entrees, I feel their poultry and seafood are their best. The pork chop though tender, wasn't incredibly tasty. I have not tried a beef dish. The dessert was delicious! The manager recommended eating the pan a cotta and pan de crème together and that was soooo good! It was a nice, light dessert but very tasty! I would definitely recommend trying it

This is one place I visit nearly weekly (especially March-October). They are dedicated to their…read morecustomers and I feel like I'm always surprised/impressed by the variety of items offered in this small space. Some of the highlights of my experiences: -Location labeling/Local spending. Most all of the produce is labeled with its origin which helps me feel better. Sometimes, you just need an avocado, and while it may not have been grown local, at least I can feel good about my money staying local. -Small (and large) quantities available. It is here you can buy a single stalk of celery. I LOVE this. Sometimes, you just need a carrot or stalk of celery for a recipe and this is the place to get it (for fifteen cents). I can seriously find almost any produce that I need here-though I haven't tried it, this also seems like a place that would order a large quantity for you if you had a need. And you can always ask if you don't find what you need and Mr. Madison will let you know either where it is or why they don't have it. -Dry goods. Easily missed, behind the counter and back wall, they have a fairly expansive stock of dry grains, nuts, the like (even vanilla beans at Christmas). The staff are happy to help you with whatever it may be-a quarter cup of quinoa or 4 pounds of oats. This makes it super easy to try new things, or again, source a recipe. -Staff/Proprietors. The staff are always super helpful and attentive. This place can get busy and crowded, and it could get easy to get frustrated as a staff person in that environment. But, it my experience, they do what they can to help everyone quickly and direct new comers of the order of the line, or spend time getting your list of 43 bulk dry goods. The only point that might annoy newcomers is that this place is a bit small, and on a Saturday morning (especially in winter) it can get crowded. (PS the line starts in the back-see the sign hanging from the ceiling.) But, here's a tip-I've never tried it, but I do certainly have a bookmark from them that advertises that you can call in your order ahead of time during the week. Some day, I imagine I might be organized enough to do this. Also, during most of the summer, they have a tent outside with the larger quantities of seasonal produce which alleviates the crowd.

It's a really small store so be cautious that you may be shoulder to shoulder with some people. Overall, still a great place to check out.
