There were season recipes available, but we found what we wanted on the regular menu. $10 Eggs As You Wish gave us two over-easy eggs, super-crispy hash brown sticks, our choice of slightly-sweet whole grain toast, and a $4 add-on of a savory oatey local pork-beef hash called goetta, much like Maryland's corn-based scrapple. We had more good old breakfast food: a $12 stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes with whipped butter, light powdered sugar, a maple syrup, with a side of goetta included.
