When we came for our initial appointment, we expected them to say our children needed treatment right away but they told us that we needed to have some other items taken care of before doing braces. The consultation was easy, no pressure and very informative, they were able to answer all of our questions. As we come to the end of our last child with braces, I can say without a doubt that I've been very impressed and thankful that I found Murdock Orthodontics. The entire team have been supportive, professional and caring. Also, I didn't mention earlier but their pricing is very competitive and even if they were priced higher, I'd still come here without hesitation. Highly, highly recommended Murdock Orthodontics!

I had my third bone graft today, and despite having a very positive experience with Dr. Ernst every time, I was incredibly anxious, to the point where I almost cancelled the appointment. But I went ahead and went in, letting the assistant know that my anxiety was very high today. That message got to Dr. Ernst and he came in and was very comforting. He went slow, explained everything clearly, and by the time we were ready for the Lidocaine, my anxiety had gone from a 9/10 to maybe a 2 max! I feel like I'm the only one in the world who can say that going to the dentist relaxed them!

He was rude and indifferent to me most of the time, though I didn't treat him or his staff that way. Maybe he was scared I'd stop paying if he took them off first, but he got all his money, and I got a crooked smile that doesn't close right. What a rip off! Also, I needed some further oral surgery to correct a tag problem with my gums, and he barely gave me enough time to get that done (I was preparing to go overseas) but without time to follow up. Dr V was my second orthodontist I saw for consultation and unlike the other orthodontist, he told me I only needed one extraction for my 24 month treatment and I could start the treatment as soon as I was ready and get extraction later. Previous orthodontist said I needed 3 extractions and 30 month treatment. Thankfully I didn't even need one extraction with Dr V in the end! Dr V has saved me a lot of money and even offered $500 off my treatment. Although I wanted Invisalign I got braces but the kind that is clear on top so it has made my braces experience much more enjoyable as an adult. The office is very clean, the front desk staff always great me with a smile and are prompt to service me. Even now during COVID the staff has done a great job taking temps and making sure the office is free of patients so less room for any passing of virus. My first patient care coordinator Brittany was great! She always explained what she was doing but also took a personal interest in what I have going on.
