Everyonein at Pineville Dentistry is great, however, Dr. Mistry never cease to amaze me. She cares! She is a servant-Leader! I had an 8AM cleaning appointment and had to be at work before 8:30. I didn't want to cancel an appointment booked 6 months earlier, I arrived at the office at 7:40, none of the staff was there but Dr. Mistry, she listened to my needs and did my cleaning herself, very professional and cares for her patients first then does a phenomenal job caring for our teeth! Going to the dentist is a very traumatic experience. If you grew up with teeth extraction every time you visited dentist growing up, then you most like avoid the dentist at all cost by the time you become an adult. It has been a while since I have seen a dentist. Visiting the dentist with no insurance can be very expensive and depending on what kind of work is being done. Beth, was the first point of contact when calling in to schedule an appointment. Talk about professionalism and walking you through the process over the phone. They scheduled us in for a dental cleaning, X-rays and an exam with Dr. Mistry the next week. The dental cleaning was a great experience. Michelle the dental hygienist took her time on my teeth and as well as did the x-rays. Dr. Mistry was very through with her exam and was upfront and open if I needed any work done on my teeth. They did not try to sell and upsell you stuff. Only had two occlusions that needed to be filled and keep them posted if any pain with the tooth that had root canal done many moons ago. Usually, with professional services as well as restaurants they look down on you when you use a groupon. But this office treated you just like any other patient. Love it! read more

Sooo let me start with I HATE the dentist. I hadn't had been to a dentist in 10 years. I walked in and was greeted immediately!!! I was early and I was just sitting there nervous (in my head). I was taken back my Erica who as soon as she took me back made me feel like her friend!!!! I told her I was nervous and she told me she got me. She was next to me the whole time! The dentist was THE NICEST WOMAN I have ever met as a dentist! She laughed with me and cleaned ALLLLLL of my teeth! She said she was so impressed since it's been so long! Erica kept asking if I was okay and that I was doing great and Dr. Mistry said the same thing! I came to THIS dentist because of the reviews and I am soooo glad I did! 10/10 recommend Dr. Mistry! read more

Highly unprofessional and amateur. I have visited Pineville Dentistry to see Dr. Mistry for tooth extraction. But Dr. Mistry was on vacation Dr. Shah was covering for Dr. Mistry on that day. Dr. Shah analysed my Dad, took X-rays. Even though she found out that there is an infection in the tooth to be extracted, she gave anaesthesia to my dad. Even after 20-25 mins anasthesia wasn't effective, so she gave more anasthesia. Still my dad was in pain. She said let's still go ahead with extraction even when he was in pain. My dad couldn't tolerate the pain and that's when Dr. Shah stopped and stepped out of the room and never returned to explain the next steps. Dr. Shah had shivering hands while trying to give anasthesia. She left with the blood in my dad's mouth and not attended to explain that she couldn't extract. Also, Dr. Shah should have prescribed antibiotics if there is an infection in tooth and Anasthesia is not working rather giving patient so much pain. My father left the clinic with more pain than he had when he visited. Clinic has prescribed some antibiotics and referred to a dental surgeon. Pineville Dentistry have charged me for inspection and X-ray. Now when I go to next clinic I again have to pay for inspection. Highly disappointed by Dr. Shah's unprofessional behavior and leaving the patient in between the extraction when she couldn't do it. Ask for Dr. Mistry if at all you want to go. read more

As a graduate student, I do not currently have dental insurance. I found Pineville Dentistry and Dr. Mistry on groupon. It had been about two years since my last visit to a dentist so I was due. On top of the already great price, groupon was also having a deal with an addition percentage off for local deals. I would say I got my X-ray, check-up, and cleaning for a steal!! It is located on Park Rd which can be a bit of a zoo at certain times. The building looks a little bit older and cold (dark and not that inviting). However, do not be scared away because when you go inside - WOW! It is a beautiful office and very updated, modern, and clean. When I called to make my appointment, I was able to get a time slot the very next day! No lines, no waiting! My appointment was at 2:30. I arrived around 2:15 to fill out my paperwork and as soon as I put the pen down, they were calling me back. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hygienist that I had did not ask questions while she had her hands in my mouth (which is my pet peeve - how do I answer???). She was very efficient and did a great job with my cleaning and X-rays. Dr. Mistry is very nice and does a thorough job with her assessment and explains things to you as she goes. I will say that I was apprehensive to go to a dentist that was on groupon for a couple reasons. 1) I was worried that a dentist on groupon would not be a good dentist (not the case with Dr. Mistry. 2) I was worried that they would try to upsell me and suggest/recommend/prescribe services that I did not need just to make some money off me. Again this was not the case. I had a wonderful experience at Pineville Dentistry and HIGHLY RECOMMEND others to go see Dr. Mistry and her staff at Pineville Dentistry if you are in need of a new dentist. read more

What a great dental office to deal with. Now there's a statement you don't often hear. Dr. Mistry and her staff actually care about you and are constantly checking to insure there are no painful surprises coming your way. This was my first visit after an unpleasant experience at another Charlotte dentist and I couldn't be more pleased. All the latest equipment, lots of information and treatment options explained and the prices are rock bottom. I could easily have bought a new car for all the money I've had to spend on my teeth, wish I had found Pineville Dentistry sooner- I would be driving a nicer car! The ONLY dentist visit I have ever had that I can honestly say, "It was a pleasure!" No one held it against me that I had to reschedule twice due to other appointment conflicts, but rather followed up later to see if they could help find a time that worked for me. Front desk staff -- impressive! Michelle the hygienist was awesome~~ cheerful, thorough, gentle and efficient. My X-rays were actually free of discomfort when she placed the plate thingys in my mouth (wow). No one tried to upsell me to "deep cleanings" which (I was informed) I did not need, but which another dentist I had seen, in an emergency some months prior, had insisted I needed. Dr. Mistry was warm and welcoming, not rushed, most certainly NOT a 'pressure' person. She explained what needed to be done, in what order, simply, understandably, in marked contrast to other dentists I have been to -- in my search for my forever dentist-- who wound up sounding a bit like carnival hucksters as they tried to 'sell' me on many thousands of dollars of replacement work. :( Her approach to her patients was conveyed to me by her happy staff, a life viewpoint I very much admire : "She says she 'has to be able to sleep at night'.
