They give you a warm blanket and offer you basically anything you might need from glasses to stress balls & free WiFi to help with your anxiety should you have any. Free toothpaste brushes and toothpaste tubes along with dental floss and picks there is a lot more than just a few things you walk out with. The dentist office offers water hygiene cleaning so not a lot of that horrid scratches and scrapping. That is definitely one of the reasons I love this place. Detailed photos and explanations of everything are shown to you and the entire process is always very easy . Located in Pineville it's definitely a great choice if you're looking for a great dentist! My wife and I had been customers of Park Cedar for more than 20 years. We always felt that they were conservative with their approach to recommending dental treatment beyond routine care. We trusted their recommendations and did a number of crowns over several years. We liked the dentists and their staff. Unfortunately, the last time we were there, something had changed - we were no longer patients but now revenue sources. It was recommended that I have three new crowns and my wife two. We noticed my wife was being charged a different rate for cleaning than me. We asked to speak to the dentist about it, but she refused. We were never contacted again. Amazing that after supporting them for so long that they did not try to retain us as customers. More telling - we went to another dentist today. It felt more professional and while I needed minor periodontal work, they said both of us did not need any other work. read more

I wasn't going to write a review, but I recently went to a new dentist and was told I would have to pay more money out of pocket to fix my teeth. Before I started my Invisalign, my teeth weren't too bad. They were just a little crooked on the top row, so I didn't think it would be too hard to get my teeth straightened. Towards the end of the treatment I asked to see the before pictures so that I could see how much progress was made. I was informed that they were somehow lost, and they couldn't find the ones that they uploaded to the Invisalign website either. I had been getting the treatment for a while and finally got to a point that i felt was somewhat acceptable although I still was not satisfied. I was told that this was the best that could be done. I decided I wanted to go with the permanent retainer instead of the one that you put in at night. Well, I had the retainer in for about a week, and the top one popped loose. This happened on a Friday so the earliest I could go in was Monday. They fixed it at no additional charge. I went back in a few weeks later and told them that I was not satisfied with my top teeth and that I felt that they had shifted back during the time that my retainer popped lose. Dr Snapp said that my teeth wouldn't have shifted in that short of time (Friday to Monday), although during treatment, I could see that my teeth would shift if I went less than 12 hours without wearing them. I was told I would have to start a new Invisalign treatment from the beginning if I want any more improvements since the buttons were already taken off. Fast forward to about 10 months later. I go to new dentist who tells me that my top retainer is lose, and they would need to put in a new one or either give me removable ones. I'll have to pay $400 out of pocket for them since I have "completed" my Invisalign and my insurance won't cover any additional work. This will be the 2nd time I have a retainer in less than 1 year. I didn't really have any trouble when it came to regular dental work, but when it comes to Invisalign, I would not recommend using Park Cedar. Even the nurses were a little less educated. There were times when u felt they were very inexperienced. They also left one of the buttons on my bottom teeth, and only noticed after I came back in to finish up my top teeth. I would suggest going to an orthodontist if you need to get braces. read more

As funny as it sounds, I enjoy going to the dentist. Their team is great and my most recent visit (1 crown and 3 fillings) was a smooth process (pun intended). They are always patient and address any concerns in addition to being honest about what needs to be done right away. The 3-D crown making process is state of the art and probably made the visit easier than ever. My only request is for long procedures to have TV's in the rooms. It would help pass the time instead of staring at the ceiling. read more

I stupidly chipped a tooth by letting a curtain rod fall on my face while hanging new drapes. It was Friday afternoon, when they are, but I called the emergency number in s panic and Dr Snap called me right back. She asked a few questions and determined it was not life or death so she said she would have someone call me 1st thing Monday. Sure enough, I got a call and was there at 9am. I left looking like the old me. They did a great job!!!!! I have been going there since I was 10, I'm now 46, I Love Dr Snap and the whole team!! read more

High tech equipment! I also like the baking soda sandblaster for the cleaning sessions. Excellent experience with PCD. Also, very honest...only dentist I've had in recent years that didn't insist on a "build up" for a crown. Said I didn't need it which makes me think other dentists charge for it just because they can whether you need it or not. read more

I give two stars because the staff is really nice and organized, and I've never waited long. When it came to check ups and regular cleanings, everything was fine. But then I had a complicated cavity which I had to return to Dr. Suttles twice to fix before going to a new dentist altogether. The first time I was sent home from this filling, they didn't file my teeth down and I had one tooth noticeably pointy, jagged and uncomfortable. I didn't feel it until the numbing medicine wore off and was forced to go back so she could file my bite down. About a month later I had major pain in the filling area and now had so much food getting caught there I had to floss constantly to avoid gum pain. I went back so she could "fix" it but still had major hunks of food getting trapped. I finally went to a new dentist altogether and haven't returned. read more

Very up to date technology, very thorough, very friendly, and they don't push procedures on me that I don't need!!!! Yesterday's recommendation for a crown came as a surprise. This same tooth was chipped at the end of last year and was worked on Nov. 25th. A filling was recommended for the tooth which I paid $414 for a filling. No mention of a crown at that time. Now the recommendation yesterday after the same tooth chipping less than 90 days later was for a crown costing $1,100. I have been a patient of Park Cedar Dentistry for over 20 years and this is the first time I have been disappointed with your service, most recently the past 90 days. I called your office Friday, Feb. 27th, after chipping my tooth the night before. In getting your recorded voicemail re. emergency services, I called Dr. Caldwell, left a message, and got a call back from her within the hour. I was on my cell phone, so she left a VM stating that I would get a call to schedule on Monday, once your offices reopen. I waited until yesterday (8 days later) to recall for I never heard from your office to schedule. Thankfully I was not in any pain or sensitivity from the chipped tooth. It seems likely to me that the treatment of my chipped tooth on Nov, 25th was wither not fully assessed and treated correctly or the filling contributed to the tooth chipping once again in less than 90 days, creating additional demands on my time and finances.
