Went one time for exam with Dr Roberts who did not seem to know what he was doing. Provided endodontist report but Dr Roberts did not provide any understandable details about what he was planning. I see this is his FIRST practice and it showed. I have been trying to get results since I saw him 9 days ago and have received no report so far. I called multiple times and was promised written results today. Tech finally emailed me 1 minute before they closed and said the office manager would call me Tuesday. Owner has refuted bad reviews but having experienced bad customer service I will say he is WRONG!! Stay as far away from here as possible!!! read more

I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Satterlee and the entire staff at BCD! From the moment you walk in you're greeted by welcoming smiles and a welcoming office with comfy chairs and refreshments. They are also taking necessary COVID-19 precautions such as temperature checks and questionnaires. My gum depigmentation or "gum bleaching" was quick and I am very happy with my results! The procedure was absolutely worth the price and the healing process was speedy. I Only had my upper gums done but I will be sure to return soon for the bottom. I definitely recommend!! read more

This is by far the worst dental practice I have ever visited. I went there only to have two teeth extracted on March 22nd. I was in pain and wanted those two teeth removed. In this type of pain and Dr. Eric Davis realized this and he took advantage of a vulnerable situation. I ended up with the two teeth extracted with a bone graft to tooth #2 and 30.I I really don't believe he did a bone graft to tooth #2. It seems almost impossible because he tore my mouth up with that saw he used to extract tooth #2. I was wide awake when these procedures were being done. He used a saw to extract tooth#2 which took over 30 minutes. Prior to this happening he presented himself as being quite capable to which he is not. I got tricked in my most vulnerable time into getting the bone graft of which I never wanted. Mind you I have over the years had 3-4 teeth removed. Those teeth came out easy. I don't know why he had so much difficulty. It was not a wisdom tooth. I had a chance to look at the x-rays of my teeth and saw the structure and length of my teeth. If he was so capable as he thought he was I should not have had that kind of difficulty. When all this unnecessary work was done he offered me no Rx for pain medicine. I had to ask him for a pain Rx. With my other previous dentist I did'nt need any pain medicine. This was a really unusual and weird dentist visit for me. I tried to explain to the owner Dr. Yaste what happened to me, but he defended Dr. Davis and refused to see him having done anything wrong. It was March 22nd when this occurred . It is now 5-15-2024 and I am still having pain from this procedure. He also damaged other teeth while he was doing these extractions and bone graft. There is so much more to be told here. However I will stop here because there is too much to much to dwell into. I know that Dr. Davis took advantage of a seventy four year old woman with tooth pain. Prepped my teeth wrong for crowns resulting in surgery among a slew of other mishaps. Awful experience. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy.

I went there over 10 years ago and am still so angry with how things ended up so I finally decided to write a review. I moved up to Charlotte about 15 years ago and was looking for a dentist and saw good reviews so when I moved I decided to try them. They are only out for your money. They wanted me to send my spit off to get tested to see if I had something in it to affect my gums but my gums were fine. Then they recommended I get half my tooth cut out and replaced with an implant. There was NOTHING wrong with my tooth other than it had an older cavity filling on it but was not causing me any issues. But I trusted them so I said yes. Then I was flossing one day and it came off! They wouldn't even try to squeeze me in. That's when I decided to find a new dentist. This was over 10 years ago but the same dentists are there. My new dentist did not try to up-sell me on anything and said my teeth and gums looked great. I eventually had a filling that needed to be replaced and he did NOT need to cut half my tooth out. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They just care about you spending money. Not sure how they have great reviews. read more

Dr. Yaste is not a good dentist. Go to ClearChoice if you need an implant arch. I had my uppers done at ClearChoice without a single problem. Since I didn't want to travel into Fort Mill multiple times again, I tried Dr. Yaste, whose office is very close to my home. When Dr. Yaste did my lowers, I had a major infection on the fifth day post-surgery, and he said that it was because he didn't give me a strong/comprehensive enough antibiotic. Twice, pieces of the temporary arch cracked off, and he claimed that it was because I was eating foods that weren't soft enough to cut with a plastic fork. The entire process takes over six months. I asked him if I was supposed to eat soft foods for six full months, and he did not answer me. Most egregiously, I had the permanent arch put in a few days ago, and the color of the bottoms that he made do not match my upper arch made by ClearChoice. He claims that ClearChoice uses inferior titanium, and that's why the color of the arch that he made is so much whiter than the upper arch. When I told him that I was dissatisfied about this, he said "you can only see it in bright light, so don't shine a flashlight on your teeth, and drink a lot of coffee." For such an expensive procedure, I did not appreciate the unnecessary pain, the outrageous difference in color, and his flippant attitude and lack of responsibility. Do not use for implants-Yaste dropped my wifes treatment in the middle of the process-they charged $600 for teeth whitening and left the product on too long which burned my wifes gums-we contacted the office and they apologized and offered a refund (which we never received) - never complained just wanted to move forward with the treatment- then after the first phase of the implant treatment she had pain that he couldnt manage for her and insinuated it was in her head then dropped her a couple of weeks later-now its hard to find a dentist to even touch this after he started-the temp was subpar and broke-a tooth was filed down too far so now she needs an additional implant-he couldnt care less about the position he left her in physically and financially read more

These people are money grubbers! I had a $4,000 bridge that chipped on me after 2 years. Bridges are expected to last at least for 10 years. They put cheap porcelain in my bridge so they could make more money. and they now want to charge another $18o to see them and another $4,000 to replace the bridge even though they gave me a verbal warranty read more

I have know Dr Yaste for while but this is first time I am writing a view about him, because normally I am very careful with what I am going to write, until I am very much know the person. Dr Yaste is a truly man with integrity and who has deep compassion for what he is doing. Dr Yaste is Willing to help me even he learned I have a lawsuit with my original dentist, who caused me lot of pain and suffering. He truly fulfills his responsibility and passion for the patient, they do need help. He takes care patients first, instead of his own interest. I have been rejected by other dentists,( who totally ignored the suffering I had and I was very desperate) mainly because they do not want to my case affected their business, as it is small business net. I was one of lucky one, I met Dr Yaste, and today I learned he is going to help dental emergency needs, as public health crisis is going on, in order to easy the burden of the hospital. I went to get a temporary crown on Moday January 8th. Dr Yaste & his team did a fantastic job of taking care of me. They gave me a blanket, a small bottle of water & some of their county music to listen to by headphone with the sound set set comfortly high. I wear a hearing aid. This is the Dentist to come if you have deeply difficult teeth problems. Dr. Yaste & his are best. Dr Yaste has been my dentist for about 8 years now. Dr Yaste & his team are the greatest. Even though my initial appointment was cancelled they tried to get me in the following day. I have been fighting this Dentist since April 2018, and have finally gotten answers after filling with the North Carolina Dental Board. In February 2016 I went to my dentist of 6 years to discuss options to repair my upper front teeth that where wearing and chipping. I was given several options, but implants where the choice they recommended. With the expense involved, I wanted to make sure it was the right decision for me. I was watching TV soon after and I was awed by a presentation on the best way to get your smile back, presented by Dr. Christian Yaste from Ballantyne Dental and his Partner. So I scheduled an appointment for a second opinion. Dr. Yaste did a great job explaining his recommendations, he explained why implants would not work for me. He said I was a candidate for a bridge. He also, gave me a complete plan to do my entire mouth with crowns and bridges, but the price to complete all was not an option financially, so I said we would do everything over a period of time, to make it financially affordable. I was impressed with him and his staff and made a decision to go with his recommendation on the upper teeth first.. I was then introduced to his Office Manager and she went over with my husband and I of the cost and all the options available to us to make it affordable. On March 31, 2016 the procedures began, X-rays, work to prepare my mouth for the upper teeth #6-12 as Dr. Yaste offered to include #12 at no charge to complete the look. I left the office on the same day with a temporary bridge and was told to go to the Drug Store and purchase a night guard, which I did and wore at night as instructed. On April 6, 2016 I returned to he office with the temporary bridge broke between #6 & 8 while eating a normal dinner of chicken and baked potatoes, nothing that would cause the break. Dr. Yaste questioned if I was wearing the night guard, which I thought was odd considering I was eating dinner when it broke, but I was faithful in putting the guard on ever night. Dr. Yaste replaced with a new temporary at no charge, which I felt it was not my fault it broke and he should stand behind his work. A few weeks later, I was out to dinner and was having Chinese and in the middle of eating dinner it broke again. I went the next day very frustrated, Dr. Yaste made a comment that I must be grinding the teeth at night. As, frustrated as I was, I felt he was stabbing for answers instead of saying it must be something he was doing or perhaps the product used in the temporary was the break down. I knew I was wearing the guard and if gridding was the issue the guard should of protected the teeth. He replaced the temporary, but said that was the last "free" one, any breaks till the permanent bridge came in, I would be charged. Well, as the weeks went on, I was out to dinner with friends and eating my salad and having conversation when all of a sudden the bridge snaps and I was unable to finish my dinner and left the restaurant in tears. I put a call on the answering machine at office that I would be in first thing in morning. I was angry, I could not believe this happened again. I was defensive, I felt he should consider the problem after now 3 temps breaking he had a problem with his lab, but he was aggravated and repaired it. My question was why is it taking so long to get the permanent made, to go thru all this frustration, answer, it takes time with the lab. Finally, end of May prior to going on vacation it came in and I scheduled a 6pm appointment to have the porcelain bridge put in and receive the custom night guard. It was beautiful. I came in over the months for cleaning and to check on a loose fit of the bridge and paid for both. Into 2017, my husband became ill and was in the hospital for 9 months, and died February 3, 2018. During the months in the hospital the front tooth started to shed slivers of the tooth and continued till it cracked, also a back right tooth cracked off and metal was shinning thru, but I did not address any of this due to my husband. After his funeral, I rescheduled my cleaning. Upon entering the office, I was greeted by staff with hugs and condolences for my husband death. I was sitting in the chair when Dr. Yaste came in, abruptly said he was sorry about my husband and went to the corner and crossed his arms across his chest and said, "What's going on", I advised him of the crack in my front tooth and showed him the back tooth with metal shinning thru. He said, if you are here for me to make a new one, it is not going to happen. Well, I was shocked by his immediate attitude. I never intended for him to do anything at no charge, just wanted them fixed. His next comment was jaw dropping, "I am not touching those teeth", and I will not repair anything. Said a few more things, and walked out. I left after paying for the visit and went to my car a cried. Since that day, I have filed a complaint with North Carolina Dental Board and recently finalized. read more

During the entire process everyone made us feel like we were family! They are all so sweet and friendly and they all treat you with such care and concern! Absolutely no pain. I went in last year to get a tooth fixed because it had broken off and found out that there was an infection, which Dr. Joe and his team took care of. After some initial consultation decided to go with an implant. Dr. Joe assured me that there would be no pain and of course, I was skeptical, but boy was I wrong. No pain. Just went in today to get another crown, which had chipped, removed and again, no pain. Now, I'm scheduled to go back in early March to have both crowns put on and again I'm assured there will be no pain. Great doctor and excellent staff.
