When we came for our initial appointment, we expected them to say our children needed treatment right away but they told us that we needed to have some other items taken care of before doing braces. The consultation was easy, no pressure and very informative, they were able to answer all of our questions. As we come to the end of our last child with braces, I can say without a doubt that I've been very impressed and thankful that I found Murdock Orthodontics. The entire team have been supportive, professional and caring. It took no time for me to get a free consultation which went pretty smoothly. Sheila and Dr Valeriano explained to me the best treatment for my teeth and payment options available to me. Dr. V even told me about my airway and alerted me to other possible health concerns that I may need I get addressed if the braces didn't help. Dr V was my second orthodontist I saw for consultation and unlike the other orthodontist, he told me I only needed one extraction for my 24 month treatment and I could start the treatment as soon as I was ready and get extraction later. Previous orthodontist said I needed 3 extractions and 30 month treatment. Thankfully I didn't even need one extraction with Dr V in the end! Dr V has saved me a lot of money and even offered $500 off my treatment. Although I wanted Invisalign I got braces but the kind that is clear on top so it has made my braces experience much more enjoyable as an adult. The office is very clean, the front desk staff always great me with a smile and are prompt to service me. Even now during COVID the staff has done a great job taking temps and making sure the office is free of patients so less room for any passing of virus. My first patient care coordinator Brittany was great! She always explained what she was doing but also took a personal interest in what I have going on. All the others for the most part have been great as well. I see Dr V each appointment unless I'm just going to get my wires taking off for a cleaning and the office has always been able to accommodate my cleaning schedule! Best of all, I am always offered with a mini dessert on the way out! I finished my treatment within 18 months and love my teeth! I high key miss my braces too though. Thx Dr V and team.

Made an excellent presentation and explained a plan with Invisalign. UPDATE: I signed up for the plan and am in my 4th week of Invisalign and really like it, had to adapt some eating and drinking habits, but so far so good. A few 'attachments' fell off, Star Orthodontics had me come in to put them back and are just great to deal with. Love the T-Shirt!! Wife wants one now. UPDATE 2: Getting close to done and the folks there are still great. Should be done in another 2-4 weeks. All my checkups and fixes have gone great and am very happy with Star Orthodontics.

The week I got my braces off I noticed that when I didn't wear my retainer for over an hour my front teeth would shift to a gap. When I went for my retainer check a few weeks later I brought this issue to Dr. Birds attention and was told I was clearly not wearing my retainer and to keep up with my hygiene. I have a class 3 overbite. My bottom teeth press against the back of my top teeth so severely that my teeth physically can't stay shut. Bird never even put me in bands. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get their braces at bird.
