My French teacher recommended this spot and so my family came here after a long day of sightseeing. I'd highly recommend coming early (before you're hungry) to get on the waitlist, and then stroll around before coming back once you receive a text to do so. Otherwise be prepared to wait for an hour or more. Once inside, the interior is very unique as it's like you're inside the Tsukiji fish market. It's cramped seating and you're likely to be seated next to strangers, but it's part of the charm. The broth is unique since it's fish-based rather than pork based. They have a mazeman option without broth and they also have a vegetarian option as well. The broth is still rich but not heavy. I'd recommend the shoyu (for the traditional option). There is one bathroom in the back. Credit cards accepted.

Kodawari Ramen is a super unique ramen spot in terms of both ambiance/aesthetic and dishes - I have never been anywhere quite like it. The inside is decorated to make you feel like you are in a Japanese fish market - and they have it down! From the fake fish in Styrofoam boxes to the backtrack recording of an actual fishmarket, kodawari transports you from france to japan. The servers are extremely fun and friendly. The flavors of ramen were nothing I had ever tried before - I had the lobster gravy ramen. It was a dry/non-soup ramen covered in a thick and creamy sauce with a unique umami flavor to it. It was also the cheapest lobster ramen I have ever had (in comparison to the US that is). I loved how different it was to anything I had had before. Definitely a cool and yummy experience!

Ramen shop with broth made from sardines and sea bream. The interior was decorated like a fish market. The service is very efficient with orders taken, ramen being served and then you bring your rocket to the counter to pay. The ramen broth was very rich and flavourful.

My mother and I came to Paris for a girls trip and Kodawari Ramen was on the top of her list to eat at. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere was authentic and we felt like we were at an Asian street market. Our server was attentive, pleasant, and cheerful. The food was quick to come out and was delicious. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is setup like a fish market with table benches and people squeezing through tight spaces. In the spirit of being packed like a sardine in a small table with barely any elbow room, I ordered the sardine bomb, and it was...forgettable. I must admit: my partner's ramen was actually very delicious. Still, during the night that we dined, the service was incredibly slow (even for Paris standards). Since we were so physically close to other people, it was noticeable when couples around us waited 30+ minutes just to order. It was a very uncomfortable dining experience and I would not return to this location, though ramen lovers should try it at least once.

App.... Dumplings... nothing like I ever tasted before.

Food was great.. service was prompt. I would recommend to line up first. Ready to wait for an hour or so... place is decorated like fish market including sounds.. minus the smell. Friendly service too.

Super busy because it is super cute with good tasting food. Scan the QR code on restaurant window to put yourself in queue for seating. We had the edamame, cucumber and gyoza appetizer.!Gyoza diff then I had before- edges not pinched together which makes it hard to eat. We cut in half with spoon and ate off of spoon. This alone with the other apps is a meal. Two of us hat the classic with chef add on. Super yummy- my husband said too fishy but to me, perfect! We shared the desserts. I preferred then coffee ice-cream praline one vs the trompe-l'œil clam one. Worth the wait!

The place was cozy and very intimate. I loved that I could sit at the bar and watch the chefs prepare. So much attention to detail was given to the food and presentation. The drinks were really refreshing and light. Pairs well with the ramen that was full of flavor. Noodles were chewy and had a good bite to it, cooked perfectly. Me and a friend shared one bowl and it was just the right amt for a light bite. So good for a cold day. I highly recommend it. The service was awesome, our server was very attentive and super nice.

My girlfriend and I tried both kodawari ramen. This one specializes in seafood ramen as opposed to meat based broth. My girlfriend thought the seafood one had better flavoring. Admittedly the ingredients were very fresh, but the meat broth is jus more to my liking. The seafood themed one also has an extremely fishy smell. Broth is super light while still keeping a very flavorful umami. Very important to note they use this app called skeepit that has a radius of 3 miles. If you are able to download it early and get into the virtual que it'll save you a lot of time and headache. The wait is also pretty long (in the hours duration). Ramen is pretty authentic especially for France. It's on par with a relatively decent ramen in Japan I think. Worth the visit if you're looking for Michelin places in France. Highly recommend you doing the chef recommendations for the ramen.

Wow! Who would have thought you would find a great ramen in Paris, France! It was a small place but the ramen was tasty. Service was a tad bit slow and we had to flag our wait staff down to get out our check. But overall it was good.

I waited 45 minutes to an hour to try this sardine ramen today around 3 PM. Overall, it was a unique and tasty experience but a tad too salty for my liking. The small, cramped interior is made to look and feel like you're at Japan's fish market. From (fake?) fresh fish decor to speakers playing the sounds of a busy live fish market, it definitely felt like I was in Japan. Shared tables can fit up to 6 people each. I tried the classic ramen and added an egg. Overall, a pretty unique ramen experience. Just expect to wait.

Came here with my fiancé during our trip to Paris and wow we were not disappointed! There was a line to get in but it was definitely worth the hype. You scan the barcode at the front of the restaurant and get in a virtual queue. The wait was actually really short despite how popular the restaurant was. As for the ramen, it was some of the best ramen we've ever had - and we loved how unique the flavors were. All the ramen here has some element of seafood and had so much umami. The interior was simply so delightful. Once we walked in we felt like we had been transported into a Japanese fish market as they made such an effort to make it look like one. It was one of the coolest dining experiences we ever had. The staff was so nice as well. Though we didn't speak French, they were so accommodating and spoke English with us and also provided an English menu. If we ever come back to Paris, we'd definitely come back to eat their ramen again!

Lobster noodle, second item from the bottom

Hmmm... why would one come to Paris to eat ramen? Coz I was sick... This place, is almost worth getting sick for. It's a tiny little place with raw fish sitting around you and you have to sit literally elbow to elbow to the next person. I ordered the lobster noodle and my wife ordered the summer cold noodle with egg plants. The flavor... exploded in our mouths... like... beyond amazing... it's really more, the spirit in the place is wonderfully amazing and the flavor of its food is indescribable! I love French food but this is... very very special! You must try!

Interior was really cool, but we did not enjoy the fish broth. Would not recommend this place. Really salty.

Started with the edamame which is a must have for me at ramen places and it was not salty or had soy sauce with it but it tasted great plain. Being pescatarian I had the epitempura ramen which is shrimp based and the broth had a nice blend of spices and it was traditional shoyu. The egg was nicely seasoned and was a level up from just a standard ramen egg. The tempura got soggy and split apart really fast- I would suggest eating this first. Also noting that it was a normal portion and not a ginormous American ramen bowl. My mom got the saumon caramelisee which was "delicious", but if she had a note it would be the rice toward the bottom absorbed the majority of the sauce. It was a small restaurant with plastic barriers every couple of tables. The service was really timely as well--I just wish they had more veg/dietary friendly options for the rice bowls and katsu part of the menu seeing as there is also only one tofu ramen and the rest are pork based

As a solo diner on a Tuesday evening, I only had to wait a few minutes. It's a small place and I expect if your group has more than 4 people, you'll have difficulty with seating. To start, I had the spicy wontons. I had expected them to be the traditional Sichuan style but instead, they were like crab rangoon filled with shrimp. At first glance, I was disappointed, but they were indeed delicious! To settle the Parisian palette, you can dip 'em in mayo if you like. I had the spicy yokohama ramen. Again I thought in traditional terms and expected a tantan men but instead it was the regular yokohama ramen with a side of hot sauce. In the end, I actually liked this as you can control the heat level. The noodles were amazing, and the chashu and egg were cooked exactly the right amount of time. While the food is really good, it is slightly pricey. For example, 3 wontons cost €7 and their homemade hot sauce cost €2 for a little dipping bowl.
