    Ramen simple x 2

I have come here a few times for dinner with friends as well as once with my parents, who can be rather picky eaters at times, and everyone has loved it. The restaurant is small but cozy, and can get pretty busy even on weeknights after like 8 PM, so it would be wise to make a reservation if possible. I always get a pork ramen as my main. The broth is rich, delicious and really comforting especially on a chilly day. If you've got the appetite for it they offer 4 slices of pork, or you can get it with just 1 if you're not too hungry. Either way, the ramens are really filling. I also have liked all the appetizers I've had. I think the most interesting one I've gotten was the lotus root chips served with whipped cream, a nice combination if you're okay with the mix if savory and sweet. Their fried chicken and okonomiyaki appetizers were delicious too, and the seaweed salad irreproachable. The service is friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want some good ramen in the Batignolles area! The restaurant is conveniently located not far from the Place de Clichy metro stop (lines 2 & 13).

Pretty good, great flavors, prices are very accessible. It's not mind blowing but it's a good local restaurant. Service is fast and nice.

Rivals or surpasses some of the best Japanese restaurants I frequent in Los Angeles. Had the gyudon and the spicy ramen.

This restaurant is the Japanese bistro that I love most in this town. The food is not expensive, with high quality and very comforting.

Good food, friendly service. I had the tempura soya nudels, very good. They don't have an English menu so be sure to bring a thesaurus.

The ramen is solid too, it has flavor but there's better miso ramen out there.

The inside is small and quaint. The staff greeted us and spoke fairly good English. They have a modest menu of assorted Japanese items. We tried the chicken karage and pork katsu and croquettes. The karage and katsu were disappointing. The karage seemed to be made with the poorest quality chicken. It was hard to tell exactly what part of the chicken it was. It looked somewhat gray in color. The katsu similarly seemed to be the poorest quality pork. There was some meat but quite a bit of fat and gristle. Prices overall seemed quite high for the low quality of food. The croquettes were the best part of the meal. They had a crispy outside and warm, soft, tasty filling. If you are in the midst of a protest and want to avoid walking far with tear gas in the air you might want to stop in here, but otherwise it's probably better to keep walking and find something better.

It's a small restaurant and very casual...nothing spectacular in terms of ambiance but the food was amazing. Both my daughter and I had the Chirashi rice bowl which was honestly one of the best ones that we ever had...we'll remember this meal for a very long time. My husband had the Tonkatsu (deep fried breaded pork) which he enjoyed as well...a little pricey for Euro 19 (~Cad 30) but that seems to be the normal prices for regular dinner entrees. We will definitely be adding this place to our list of favourite things on our Paris trip!

The place is small, but had several tables and it seemed to be a bright and cheerful place. We sat at a table next to our friends and given menus. We ordered beers and Sake. The menu was full of Sushi and other Japanese food items, but as soon as I saw Robata on the menu, I was sold! I ordered Edamame, Gyoza, several pieces of Sushi and some rolls; as well as some Robata. You rarely see Robata on a menu, and when I do, I always order a few skewers of delicious grilled food. Our server brought our drinks and Edamame, we all cheered each other and ate the hot and tasty beans. A few minutes later, our main courses showed up, and it was plentiful. All the food was fresh and delicious, I was very pleased with this quality of Sushi, especially at the decent prices! Now, the Robata was excellent as well perfectly grilled and served hot, as well as large portions. Overall, a great experience, I tend to shy away from Sushi in Europe, but this place is excellent!
