It was a chance to hang out with our kids and friends before they returned to school after the winter break. The obstacle course was a ton of fun, we took advantage of the other water activities too, and we also opted to get a couple cabanas too so we could all hang out. It was perfect for our group of 20. Some of the restaurants were closed the day we went, but the takeout food at The Lookout was delicious. We also enjoyed some cold beverages too. BTW, the Nalo Lounge is a great option for $25/person if you want to store your belonging and take a shower before heading to your ext destination. For local families, take advantage of the kamaaina rates. The family is already excited about going back when the kids are back home this summer.

My daughter wanted to come to the obstacle course with her friends. We showed up at 4pm on a Friday, they said the girls can't swim because they close at 430pm. We decided to come back at 1:30pm the next day to arrive and be told the entire place is booked for a private event. Don't waste your time. Go beach.

I was pleasantly surprised during my first visit into the space and I'm happy to have booked our first Ko Olina sunset boat tour from them directly. I have dealt directly with Mike Grey predominantly, as well as…read moreRon Dubois - they are unscrupulous, devoid of decency, and should be avoided under all circumstances. I listed with them a 38' Lagoon Catamaran with them for $250,000. From which they made a hefty fee. My issues: 1. There was a a personal relationship between the buyer and Mike Grey. As such, the entire role of acting in the best interests of the SELLER was not followed. You select a yacht broker to be your agent. When after sale you discover they were not acting in your best interests frustration is natural. A brokerage business is all about trust. And, you CAN NOT TRUST these guys. As a result of this relationship I was short-changed by many thousands of dollars. 2. While listing the vessel for sale, I was charged exorbitant mooring fees. A multiple of what is available at nearby marinas. They will try and nickle and dime you for every cent they can. Yet, put in absolutely minimal effort. 3. Incompetence - Mike Grey is unstructured, absent minded, and incompetent. There were numerous mistakes listed on their sales description of the boat. They needed to ask me for simple things like an address multiple times. Mike brings no structure, organization, diligence, or attention to detail to the party. For someone who's job is to listing boats for sale and managing sellers, he lacks the skill, ability and desire to do either of those with any talent/ability. 4. Unscrupulous - beyond my boat, I had three surfboards left on the boat that were being sold independently. When the boat was sold I immediately requested these back - only to be told they were given to the buyer (yes, shocker, the same buyer who is friends with my agent Mike). After Mike and the buyer were notified I wanted the boards back, they resisted all attempts (including offering to drive to their house and pick them up). Subsequently they sold or otherwise disposed of them. At this juncture they refuse to either return the surfboards to me, or pay me the price that I had the boards listed for. If these points don't make you either question, or completely avoid dealing with Kokua as a broker, at least consider yourself warned. I'm happy to provide full details offline if desired, but there are various other good available out there, so I strongly suggest taking your business to them and AVOIDING ANY DEALINGS WITH KOKUA AND MIKE GREY if at all possible.
