Getting ready to join this Dojo! Very inspirational and supportive environment. Make sure to have shin guards! Lots of kicking! Respect!

Went back here for the first time in years (insert monkey with eyes closed emoji) and still love it…read moreall the same. My job has a lot of irregular hours and some travel so it's great to be able to work out somewhere that doesn't require membership (still good to pay for for the multi-class packages if trying to be consistent and save some $$). Important info: 1. Check out their Instagram to see the latest updates powerbox_muay_thai 2. For women, there's a women's only class starting at 7:45pm on Tuesday's and Thursday's. It's a nice space if you're a little shy, but the co-ed classes are great too. Chris really cultivates a positive environment. 3. It can be hot indoors during summer heatwaves, bring plenty of water and if you're sensitive to heat, go to a later class. 4. You get out what you put in. Chris is very motivation and will help push you. That being said, take your water breaks! And for the athletic types, you'll still be plenty challenged! Big box gyms don't give you this kind of attention and many boutique gyms don't offer the flexibility on classes. Chris is passionate about training and doesn't put pressure on you to join so if you've been curious about trying this place out, please do! You won't regret at least giving it a try!

I could tell he not only loved what he does but truly cares about the people that come in and their well being. He let me go at my pace for my first trial class. Overall, I had a great time and a GOOD workout. Each class is $15 dollars and have many package deals. There is street parking and the street is not too busy! Will definitely be back for the good atmosphere and great workout!

First time visiting a UFC gym facility. Upon entering I was greeted at the front desk by Gabe, who…read morewas very welcoming and friendly. He then connected me with Josh (in sales), who introduced himself and gave me a thorough tour of the entire facility. He addressed all my questions about the gym and the individual equipment. Although, I was here only for a day pass, the staff treated me as if I was considering a full time membership. This spoke volumes of the company's commitment to providing each potential member with the same respect regardless if they ultimately decided to purchase a membership or not. Kudos, to both Josh and Gabe for their professionalism and outstanding customer service. I'd ask management acknowledge them in some fashion for their good works. When visiting Los Angeles and in need of a workout UFC is the place.

Pretty disappointed in this one. I started looking for a new gym and this was my first stop, never…read morecoming back. I will start by saying the facility is nearby, very clean, patrons clean up after themselves well and aside from the typical phone scrollers hogging machines, I was able to get in a decent workout session each time. Equipment was new and several varieties, lots of heavy bags, octagon, challenging obstacles. I walked in and first thing I hear is "they can't come in!" Referring to my kids. I had heard that this gym allowed ages 8+ with parent supervision. Whatever the case maybe, no way to greet a potential customer. Automatic turn off. I respect the rules, but the next time I went, I saw a ton of kids walking the floor. What gives? My kids are almost teens! This alone swayed me away from becoming a member. It turns out the manager was the manager for this location, which is shocking to me. It must trickle down to the staff, they were not very friendly, knowledgeable of the membership options and the pricing did not appeal to me one bit. I hate to stick with 24 hour fitness, but sadly it's a better choice.
