This was our first visit to Knucklehead brewing and it was a very pleasant experience indeed...First off the interior is very comfortable and spacious with very cool vibe to it...Next the staff was also very friendly and welcoming as we came in...We ordered our brews and food and both were well prepared...The IPA's are totally tasty and the limited but adequate bar menu worked just fine for our needs, we were there for the beer, lol...Anyway parking is not an issue and it's easy to find...We'll be back and I would suggest giving them a try sometime soon...Cheers read more

We had been meaning to stop into this new micro-brewery when up in Webster and we finally did on Friday night. This end of Webster really needed a place like this - a welcome addition. The beers are good though in summer I would like to see a wheat beer but that is me. The place feels very comfortable, like you are in someones very large living room (without the TV). The owners, mostly run by one family, are friendly and have created a warm atmosphere. Rumor has it that they are working to open a kitchen and will be serving food which is different than many of the other newly opened micro-breweries. The only down side is that the parking is tight given the popularity of this place. read more

This is a great place to socialize over a drink of craft beer. The kitchen should be open in the next week at the helm of a trained chef. They have been serving burgers and chicken on the grill which are amazing. Friday nights are filled with music from mike pullano. The best part is the beers served there. Their specialty is a variety of ales. Kathy's Kreme ale is a lighter variety with the scotch ale and stout being a bit heavier. Try it out! read more

After tracking their progress via Facebook, we were chomping at the bit for them to open. When we finally got word of their grand opening, we made a point to check it out. It was insanely crowded but we were able to get a tasting and grab a spot along the wall. It's really cosy inside. Although I can't say any of their brews are bad, I couldn't find one that I felt I might want to drink on a regular basis. We also felt that their beer was a bit overpriced. My friends stated that you can get growlers at other places for roughly $5 less than what Knucklehead charges. I think they should consider lowering the price to stay competitive with other area microbreweries but what do I know. Granted this was opening night so perhaps things have changed. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely stop back to see how things are going. I'd love for them to stick around. Parking can be an issue. Every Friday since their opening cars are lined up along Ridge Road on both sides. It's a nightmare to drive past that stretch of road during happy hour! read more

The people here are awesome! Let me start off by saying that I love the vibe and the people. The beer could be better. I mean that literally. I think they've got the great start to some amazing brews but they're not quite there yet. Their IPA was quite good but their Amber was just too bitter in a harsh way. Their stout was good but their coffee stout tasted just like it with Folgers added. Props for pulling out the coffee flavor... but a better coffee flavor would have gone down better. We will definitely visit again. I think they're at the edge of greatness but with just a bit more work to go. Definitely, give them a whirl. read more

We came and shared some flights. There were 5 Home brews and we had a straw/rhub pils from a neighboring brewery. All the beers were great. The brewer came and chatted with us and made us feel at home. We ordered peel and eat shrimp and pulled chicken Sammy. The food was delish. The side was a homemade Mac salad. So good. Highly recommend it to anyone interested in craft brews. There was also a couple ciders on tap. read more

This was a fantastic place I heard so much about. I heard the the beers were delicious and smart. I also heard the food was out of this world and farm to table. However, when my family and I went there we were slighting disappointed. We walk in and there was no host to greet us (no big deal). But we see the beer tenders and they see us and roll there eyes and go back chatting with one another. I walk over and greeted politely but she seemed annoyed we had kids. We were seated outside patio with nice table. The decor of the outside was very gray. The pavers gray, the table and chairs gray, the water fountain gray, even the fence around the patio gray. It was just meh. We order a flight of different beers. Because we were outside they were served in a plastic cup, not great but understandable. Our beers where regular IPA, stout, Haze and cream ale. Nothing really stood out, just mediocre. We order our food and sit back outside and wait. Our food arrives! The waitress was pleasant and helpful. Our entrees where alright. We both got fried chicken sandwiches and both chickens were either cooked in old oil or left in for a long while. Still tasty but definitely over cooked. We paid shortly after and left. Stopped in yesterday for this first time in awhile and had a good visit. Normally this parking lot is jam packed but the seas parted for us and we had no issues finding a spot or a seat inside at the bar. We had the pretzels for a snack which are probably our favorite pretzels/cheese we've had at a brewery. Not a huge food menu but enough choices to give options for a group. Service was great and gave us suggestions for new places to try out on Senaca where we will be next week. They have a smaller overall beer list but I think it's more to do with the space they have. Being the closet brewery to my house I find myself at the bar on a regular basis. I am always impressed with what they come up with and what they call it. I can honestly say I had my all time #1 beer sitting at that bar. And it's so damn hard not to grab food when your there. Sounds crazy but when and if you get one of the sandwiches go for the Mac salad. The Tainted Haze is amazing. IPAs are sometimes too hoppy for me and this is fantastic. It won't let anyone down who really enjoys a great beer. Check them out! Well based upon the reviews we decided to try it. Not sure what the set up is there for food. We went in on a Wednesday night around 5:30 or so. About 7 or so at bar, one at a table and we sat at a table figuring to have something to eat and sample the beer. No one came to our table for 15 minutes and we saw one person just leave. One worker actually saw us but was busy arranging the shirt selection or something. I did go and get a beer which was fine, the cream ale, but we left after having that since no one seemed to want to wait on us. Not sure if they have wait staff or one orders from the bar but we did not know and probably will not return Menu selection was OK but weird prices like everything is $11.11 and such We do like to support local businesses but let's face it there are many brewpubs around we can go to read more

Beer: Tried the IPA and Kreme Ale and they were very good. We filled some growlers for family over the holidays and everyone enjoyed it. It's nice to have a craft beer option closer to home! Bar: I was surprised at how much seating there was at the actual bar, yet the room still felt spacious and not too crowded. The interior is really nice and relaxing, it helps that it's brand new. Beers are mediocre and the only way to get service is up at the bar. When 3 of my girlfriends and I went, the place was pretty busy on a Saturday. The staff didn't seem overly friendly. I have to say we also witnessed something that was disgusting as far as we were concerned. There was a worker who wore a kilt, he walked over to the table next to ours and he picked up a gentleman's glass and asked him if he was going to eat the blueberry's in his glass, the man said no...the guy in the kilt ate them...how gross is that!!! My husband and I walked in (our first time) to try some beer and get some lunch today 10/12/19 and we sat down at the bar. It wasn't busy and another couple sat down next to us 10 minutes after we arrived. There were 2 bartenders on and the girl was at the opposite end of the bar and walked down to our end, looked at us and walked right past us and served the couple that walked in after us! Apparently we were invisible We immediately left and went to another establishment where we spent quite a bit of money and tipped very well!! The craft brews are delicious and different than their typical counterparts. I prefer IPA and generally dislike porters, but here the quality of the beer branches out a little further allowing me to enjoy types of beer I don't like elsewhere. The infusion of a small light fare keeps you here longer. The grill outside is basic but of decent quality. I have not had a chance to try their soups or new panini's on the menu. Educators! You need to go to Knucklehead for Happy Hour on Fridays. They have a $2 off drinks special for all teachers and school staff from any district on Fridays. Just show your ID. A bunch of us from my school went for this, and it was perfect. The owners are a fun Webster family who value educators and make great beer on top of it! Stopped for a tasting on Sunday before Labor day -- not real busy. My wife and I split a tasting of 6. The guys behind the bar were great! I believe both are sons of the owner. Really knew their stuff and had a great sense of humor. The beer was excellent. The tainted haze -- a New England style IPA was the best IPA I have had in any of the western NY local breweries. This is a cliquey kind of place, but the atmosphere is nice. The beer is very good and the sandwiches are great. It's not your typical bar in that it's not rowdy with 50 TVs blaring sports, so it can be relaxing and casual. The cream and amber ale are very good and they also import an IPA from Singlecut Beersmiths in Queens. There is no table service so you have to toddle up tot he bar to get your beer and order food. When your food is ready you have to toddle over to the kitchen window to pick it up. Don't forget to tip yourself for good service! After a couple of visits there, I kind of like the place. We have been coming for over a year. The atmosphere is very inviting. It's a neighborhood bar where the emphasis is on beer, pub food and conversation. I am a big fan of their Day ta day IPA. If you are looking for big screen TVs and Bud Lite, it's not your place. But if you like a choice of 8 or so microbrewed beers, some good Friday night live balladeering and the chance to interact with the families who own and run the place or simply friendly conversation with the regulars, this is for you. New soups every week, Panini's and summer grilling of hamburgers etc are great compliments to the beers. Plus special events that all can enjoy quite often. Give it a try. read more

Our son was visiting from Colorado this weekend and we've been wanting to go to Knucklehead to check it out so we headed there on Sunday afternoon. We weren't disappointed. They both tried a flight and I sampled the Kreme Ale and the Pale Ale and decided to go with first. They really liked every one of the beers they tried and mine was delicious. We know both the Cline and Dummer families and couldn't be happier that their new business is being well received. The location is convenient, the interior is warm and welcoming with lots of room. We had a good time talking to Kathy and Len Dummer and even got a tour, which they are eager to do for customers and friends. There are no televisions blaring sporting events (fine by me) so that you can actually have a conversation with someone. Free wifi allows for checking out the scores on-line. No kitchen or food as of yet, but Kathy said they're making plans for the future. read more
