Came in today with my husband. He went left (salt nic) and I went right (regular juice). I was helped by one guy and he was helped by another. My guy was super helpful and answered my questions patiently. We really liked it here. The selections were vast. I only like the iced or freeze type of juice and they have it here in spades. Usually I struggle to find them. They were having a sale/promotion plus a prize that we won later that night. The price versus the amount of product we got was comparable to what we buy wholesale online. Now that online is not an option for us. We will be by again. There's also a grand prize for a TV! Soon. I don't live in Reno, but am there once a week or so and my vape was ruining coils very quickly. I went in expecting to spend $70+ on a new vape. He listened to what my vape was doing and told me what was wrong with it and instead of selling me a device i didn't need he sold me a $20 tank that fixed my problem. He was honest and knowledgeable, something you don't find very often these days. I'm really picky with flavors and it's been a difficult time finding good flavors, affordable cbd juice, and good customer service in this industry. Then I walked into Knuckle Dusters. I stopped in here while looking for a different vape shop that is in the area, and ended finding a great store with a laid back vibe and a very knowledgeable owner. The selection was a little thin at first, but the shop is only a few months old, and their inventory is growing everyday. Prices are better than you will find at most stores, and better than shopping online where you risk getting a clone. They have a good selection of juice and even have their own flavors. I haven't tried too many of them, but they just got a huge shipment of new premium flavors, so I'll update this post when I've tried a few more. The owner (there are actually two co-owners, but I've only met one of them), knows his stuff and is willing to answer any questions you may have about certain mods, tanks, juices, whatever. He tries all of the items he stocks, so you always get an honest review. The store itself is a little small, but they carry the best products, so that's all that matters. I'm sure they will grow bigger as time goes on. It's the customer service that really sets this place apart though. Location is convenient and just down the street from my house. When you combine that with the great prices and knowledgeable staff, it is definitely my goto vape shop. *EDIT:* There looks like there was a mistake in communication! The store both allows you to try juice and happily offered to correct their mistake, which goes above and beyond. Much appreciated, guys! The staff were knowledgeable about the industry and the community, and the service elevates the store beyond the others in the area, but a tiny bit more product knowledge and the ability to taste flavors would go a long way. I stopped in the store to buy a new setup a few days ago, after my X Cube II bit the dust, and had my eye on a TFV12 and a Battlestar. The markup wasn't as bad as the stores where I came from before I moved recently, and the conversation with the employees about what had changed in the market since I had stopped using an e-cig seven months ago (it's easy to fall out of the habit when you don't use nicotine and your vape breaks!) gave me the impression of a seasoned and experienced staff who had been around for more than the usual employees. One of them even checked my old battery for leakage (and found some, which made me very grateful). However, while I was chatting with the employees as they were getting everything together, I failed to notice that they had snagged one of the TFV12 Princes instead of the Cloud Beast King. I'd assume it was because it was the newer model of the TFV12 that they had just gotten in, as he did mention something about how he had just the 'new TFV12s', not realizing that he had sold me a tank that only went up to 100w to go with a 200w device. Not to mention that I couldn't try the juice I wanted before I bought it. I snagged some juice for myself and didn't think much of it, as I love just about every flavor and getting the top-seller rarely results in problems, but I wanted to find a flavor for my fiance--who doesn't like sweet flavors and is a little particular--and had to settle for a bottle of menthol I wasn't sure he'd like. I didn't realize the mistake with the TFV12 until after I had left the store and opened the box to see what atomizers came packaged with it. After noticing the unfamiliar name and doing a bit of research, I found myself a little frustrated. When you buy from a shop, you're not just expecting decent service and a reasonable price. Since online stores are able to offer prices which local stores find hard to compete with, a local store should try to impress with its product knowledge and the ability to test out flavors--a supremely helpful opportunity no online business has--not just try to keep markup low. While the service was nothing short of amazing, I feel like the missing the other two qualities makes me hesitate to recommend the place as highly as I'd like to recommend a place with experienced employees; a clean, organized shop; and decent markup. Let's be honest: buying local to support a place and winding up paying a premium for something that you didn't want, even if it isn't a disastrous mistake, isn't a great feeling. Even so, please do support this store. I went to a few places afterwards to shop around for some cheap budget juice, and I haven't found a place that comes close to this one. But caveat emptor, dear vaper, and do be a little cautious with your purchases. read more
