The sliding door in the balcony fell off and it wont even slide or couldn't put it back to the original location, heavily rusted. In the course of the 4-month job, they went way over budget and have yet to finish what they started. They were sloppy in the install of our under cabinet lighting, leaving wiring in sight. One cabinet does not even have under cabinet wiring despite this being in agreed upon scope. They hid trash in our cabinets instead of properly cleaning up. They've left our electrical panel unlabeled, despite swearing up and down they'd make sure to label it. They left lots of wires hanging out in our utility room. It's super messy. One of the crew suggested putting in a dimmer on our overhead lighting at no additional cost to us but then never installed it. The nail in the coffin: there's still a switch in my dining room that doesn't work because they had a missing transformer part. We scoped this job in August. It seems like nobody ordered the parts until much later. It's been a month since we finished the rest of the job. The switch is still nonfunctional. We've heard the piece came in but there's no sign of JMS ever coming back despite attempts to escalate via our GC. We've paid thousands upon thousands of dollars to JMS. They're not owed anything. Stupid GC for thinking they'd finish the job on the promise of their own reputation. Would not recommend them.
