I just had KCR install a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim single zone heat pump in my basement. Josh was the sales person who came out to my home to give me an estimate. He had a proposal in my inbox the same day! He quickly responded to all the questions I had. He scheduled the installation, coordinated with their electrician and showed up during the installation with rebate paperwork and to check in. He immediately filed the rebate on my behalf. Stephen, the installer, showed up on time and was very pleasant. He asked for my input regarding the placement of the unit on the interior wall, as well as the placement of the external unit. He used a drop cloth and with hours the job was complete and no one would have ever known that a contractor had just worked at my house! The unit was up and running. I should mention that Stephen called the electrician at just the right time. The electrician showed up within minutes, was very pleasant and completed his part of the install. Our gas furnace was acting up and not blowing hot air on one of our -10 degree nights. We noticed the house was chilly at about 7am and a KCR tech was at our front door not even one hour later. This, after our usual HVAC guy told us they could maybe get to us in 2 days' time... We were fortunate that it was a quick fix, however the reason for the review here is that the tech went above and beyond. He did a full check on the system, explained everything and gave us some tips for maintenance in the future. He went outside to triple check the exhaust and even waited a bit to be sure the heat was fully working before he left. Hubby is very handy but doesn't know about furnaces and if KCR had been dishonest and told us we needed a more expensive repair, we would have probably done it as we wouldn't have known any better. Who could go without heat in this weather we've had? In this season of roofers price gouging and wicked cold temps, we really appreciated an honest company with great service!!! I had my 31 year old furnace and central AC units replaced by KCR with new Carrier units. The installation team of Stephen and Brian did a fantastic job. Very professional and neatly put together. My appointment was set to start at 8am and that's exactly when they showed up and they didn't leave until the whole job was completed late in the afternoon. My first contact at KCR was George and he came over to my house several times, took pictures, brought different props and answered my questions regarding which type of units to purchase. After installation, George took care of required paperwork that I needed to submit for rebate. He was very knowledgeable about the whole process. KCR installed a Mitsubishi Hyper-heat system in my home. I did a lot of research and got multiple quotes from Mitsubishi diamond contractors. I worked with Joshua Lavallee at KCR. He was very professional and provided multiple quotes as I changed my mind several times about what units I wanted.
