I called my insurance company because I had a flat tire on a very busy highway during rush hour. The guy shows up and totally destroyed one nut and damaged another. My car was spotless before he came. Not only did he damage the lug nuts he just left without getting the nuts off. They are super fast and responsive coming out. My technician was very friendly. He was speedy with his service and answered all my questions. He also seemed to be pretty knowledgeable with the Baltimore area which helped with his response time. I highly recommend. If I need roadside assistance again, I'd go through this company. read more

My car wouldn't start this morning! I calmed myself and resigned myself to a ruined day. Enter Knockout. They said they'd be on the scene with a jump for me within 35 minutes or less. I said OK, but I thought "yeah right," and attempted to get comfy in my stuffy car in the monsoon-like weather. I mean, seriously- flash flood warnings and tornado watch. As I started digging around for reading material, I got a call from an unfamiliar number. It was them! The guy estimated he was about 5-7 minutes away and wanted to make sure he knew exactly where I was (asked for landmarks) as I was on a very small side street and he double checked to make sure I was in a safe area. He arrived, found me right away, jumped the car and boom! I was back in business. I received very friendly, polite, and professional service. The whole ordeal took no more than 25 minutes total and though I thought I had a disastrous day ahead, I ended up only being 17 minutes late for work. Can't beat that! Highly recommended and would call again (but hope I don't need to). read more

Horrible service. They give you an ETA time and the dispatcher is out of New York while service Request In Maryland!!! They DO NOT COMMUNICATE AT ALL! Everytime you call the dispatcher they feed you BS then have the nerve to get frustrated with customer because they are not doing their job!!! Geico should not do business with them at all!! The dispatcher also said the technician had 2 jobs ahead liessss the dispatcher had to call the technician on 3way and he said he was leaving his house I mean a total waste of time and not to mention this is late at night no regard safety!! Connected through insurance for roadside assistance, received a confirmation text from Knockout at exactly 5pm, 630pm I am still waiting and still being told the driver is 20-25 mins away. The driver stopped answering and so they assigned a new driver who says my request was canceled twice so he wasn't even on his way yet. Dispatcher said she doesn't know why they said that the order was never canceled and she can't take a complaint for the driver I should instead call Geico. Geico confirmed at 5:42 they had done their part and a driver should have arrived, even double checked and added updates to location. Knockout driver progress tracker shows no eta and no route info, has said for two hours that they're working on finding a driver for me. All while I. On the side of a highway exit ramp in the car with a child. The worse service ever and the driver and dispatcher are both just passing the blame around.​ read more

Dishonest & shady owner. Have you ever heard the old phrase "Cheap is expensive" ? I actually used this company TWICE in one month toget my car to a tiw place abd again to junk my car. The owner wanted to buy my car , so he tried to lowball me multiple times and eventually used the situation to screwed me over with a smile on his face! All because he wanted extra money (as if i hadnt given him enough business for one month by using his setvices twice) I wont ever call them again. Knockout lockout is really awesome. I called my VW roadside assistance and this was the company they used for me. They said the guy would be there in a half hour, and he was there well before that. He was really awesome and was funny, knowledgable and got my car started, even when the jumper box didn't work. He made a bad experience nice! read more

DO NOT USE them. The absolute worst! They never showed up at all for me. I was stuck in South Baltimore and my car would not start. I called another towing company after waiting 2 whole hours. They didn't call me back. Do not trust them at all on the phone. It's a stressful time when your car won't start, and they make it 10x more stressful by being so horrible. read more

I discovered that I had a flat today at work and I used my Geico app to request roadside assistance for the first time. They assigned Knockout Towing and Roadside Services to me. The nice man was at my location in Owings Mills, MD within 30 minutes and changed my tire, put the spare on within 10 minutes. He was very friendly and did a great job. It's was so cold today, he saved me! Thank you! Would definitely use again. read more

Knockout Lockout is the worst. I called my insurance for roadside assistance for a flat tire and this is the company they used for me. The assistant was supposed to arrive within 1 hour. He called after 50 minutes and asked for the address, which tells me he hadn't even left to find me yet. I was on a small side street block between two major intersections so gave him this information, which he then kept saying he needed an address. I gave him the address across the street since my car was next to a large school that took up the whole block. He called again 15 minutes later saying he couldn't find it and relayed the two intersections I was between. When I asked if he knew this information then why was he confused he started ranting about how he wasn't confused and hung up on me. I called the main number because I wasn't even sure if he was still coming. They put me on hold and said they could not get in touch with him. He then called later and said he was at the intersection backed up the 50 feet to where my car was and emerged from his beat up car to inform me that I needed to give better directions. At this point I had had enough and we argued which ended with me saying I did not want his help and him threatening me and saying I wouldn't be able to call his boss because he is the boss. I called the main line again and they were somewhat apologetic but I got the sense that they really couldn't care less. I called my insurance company and another assistant came out to help me within half an hour who had no trouble finding me and was extremely helpful. I cannot say enough about how bad my experience with this company was. The entire experience made me feel unsafe and infuriated. Perhaps this was an isolated incident but when people are in need of roadside assistance the last thing you want is an incompetent and threatening individual showing up in what is already a stressful situation. I will also be calling my insurance company to tell them not to refer customers to this company as I would never want this experience for another person with car trouble. read more

Awful customer service. DO NOT USE THEM. I never write reviews, but specifically downloaded this app just to warn people. My car needed to be jumped, I was told it would only be 40 minutes. They never arrived, my husband called them, they said they didn't have any record that we needed someone even though we had a dispatch number. We called geico roadside back, were told that the driver said they tried to call, no missed calls. Geico called them back to straighten it out, said it will be 35 min. Another hour goes by, my husband ends up speaking with the same horrible woman on the phone who did not hesitate to point the finger at geico (extremely unprofessional - I have no respect for businesses that are not willing to admit their mistakes). The woman sounded rude during the duration of the call and said that the job wad cancelled the last two times because geico said they didn't have a working number on file (we have two working numbers on file). During the call where she was still repeating herself asking why our numbers do not work and bashing geico, we received a call from the driver. This place is completely unreliable, please use a different tow company. read more

I called geico to report a flat tire. It had 2 nails in it. Geico sent knockout lockout to change the tire. When knockout arrived the man said he was there to repair my tire. I paid $50 to have my brand new tire repaired by knockout. The man patched the 2 holes in my tire. Mind you this is a brand new tire. 2 hours later my tire is flat again. I call geico to make them aware of this. They continue to say that knockout was only supposed to change my tire, not patch it. So I say, "what kind of business are you running sending people to my house to do the opposite of what was instructed". If he was sent to change the tire then why did you patch it? I had no knowledge that this was some BS. I thought geico sent him to do this. So in the midst of me filing a complaint with geico, I call knockout to make them aware. They say well he was not supposed to patch your tire. I said then how is that helping me. I now need a new tire. Knockout also gave me the runaround. I was not offered any type of compensation at all for my loss at the hands of knockout. Thanks to knockout trying to do side hustles I am out of $50 and plus a brand new tire. Please if you have geico or any other insurance that deals with knockout. Don't let them touch your vehicle. read more
