I wanted a hair wash and blow out the day before I am induced with my first baby. The sylist acted like I was inconveniently there, wash my hair so hard I was wincing, didn't adjust the bowl at all, and washed my hair with ice cold water. When she finally slowed down and realized she was hurting me, instead of apologizing and slowing down, she got pissed and someone else will do it. I said no, it's just a little hard. After that terrible experience, we went to blow dry. Same thing. Hard brushing, and rushing to get me out. I'm walking out 20 hours before the biggest day of my life in tears, and smelling like moth balls from their disgusting shampoo.

So far my gel manicure has only lasted about 2 weeks and is starting to chip now.

I have been chasing owner Candice around the Metrowest since 2008! While she began her career and…read moremoved salons, I always followed as she is the absolute BEST at my hair color. When she and co-owner Nina (another great stylist I've gone to in the past) opened up their own studio in Marlborough, I brought them a bottle of champagne to celebrate and keep sending clients their way. The studio is in a small house on a busy road, but once you step inside you forget where you are- it's trendy without being obnoxious. The stylists are down to earth, never dressed in matching colors or heels- (why do some salons think severe is the play?) They almost always have music playing, fresh paint and artwork adorn walls, and Candice and Nina are meticulous about keeping their space clean. While I admit, I've tried dying my own hair, trying to cut my own hair on occasion (curls are very forgiving!), I always come back to The Room. I would 100% recommend Candice, Nina, or Olivia as they are all amazing at their craft.

My hair is naturally fine and thin,…read moreand I told her I had gotten lowlights done with a toner back in December (so they've faded out and are gone by now) and then went a little lighter in May. I showed her inspo pictures of a light neutral blonde (achievable because I've done it many times before, my hair was already a dark blonde/light brown, & i've even been full platinum many times with little to no damage) and she said she would get me as light as possible today. She did a full foil and there's literally zero difference in my hair color. Walked out looking the exact same as I looked when I went in. I reached out with pictures from before and after, and she refuses to issue a refund for the $366 I paid to look the exact same. Now have to spend at least another $200 somewhere else to fix it. Don't recommend!
