I was in a car accident a few months ago, and was taken to the hospital. The airbag in my steering wheel was deployed and hit me right in the nose. I had a huge, deep cut (more like a big slice) from the tip of my nose to the nostril. After the ER doctor determined I didn't have any other injuries that required me to stay, she sent me in a cab straight to Dr. Lach at A Beautiful You. He seemed to be their go-to when it comes to plastic surgery, especially when it comes to facial wounds. I went straight there, and was seen within 15 minutes of arriving. Dr. Lach was gentle, kind, soft-spoken, and clearly wildly intelligent. He looked not only at my facial scar, but at all of my other cuts and bruises. He caught a third-degree burn that the hospital had ignored. His nurse, Gail, was there to hold my hand and comfort me while he put needles in my nose to numb it, and then sew it up. He took my fear of needles seriously, unlike many doctors who seem to want to roll their eyes. He sewed my nose up in what was likely the least painless, and most efficient way possible. Dr. Lach gave me his personal cell phone number afterward, and asked me to call in the next few days to let him know how I was doing. I called a few days later and expressed my concern about the blood that had (as expected) seeped through the wound dressing. I am a middle school teacher, and didn't feel comfortable showing up to a group of 11-year-olds looking worse than I had to. Dr. Lach came into the office ON HIS DAY OFF, simply to clean the wound and change the dressing. He has truly renewed my faith in doctors! I have seen him in the months following my accident, and he is going to be doing laser treatment to reduce the redness of the scar even further. Friends and family members have to squint to see the scar, which is incredible, because it was pretty awful! During my three different appointments, Dr. Lach has never made me wait longer than 15 minutes, which I am more than happy to do, because he spends as much time with you as you need him to. Thank you to Dr. Lach and all of the kind and compassionate staff at A Beautiful You! You made what was a pretty horrific event so much easier to deal with.

Her prices are more reasonable and much less than The "fancy smancy" 3 appointments a year before at a place known Laser Derm Medi Spa located at 6 Gordon Road Shrewsbury, MA 01545. I do not recommend this as an option for a transgender customer. They invest the high prices on the interior, music, relaxing waterfalls and the like, it gives you the illusion you get what you pay for. Instead they should spend the over priced fees on the machines or invest in long term business relationships, the laser sets you back 225.00 full 40 minute full face appointment. They kept saying they are the best, best machines etc. in the whole state. My third session was the same price, they gave me 20 minutes for 225.00. The results were NADA! When I complained they were like, unconcerned. No way they cared in me coming back. The yelp seems to have actual employees that make it appear as if they are a customer talk how great they are. If Transgender, DO NOT GIVE them the business.
