I appreciate that Mellott Plumbing was able to come out the same day and arrived when they said…read morethey would, which was helpful in an urgent situation. However, my experience overall was disappointing. The plumber accessed the wrong cleanout that wasn't connected to my home, was unable to clear the blockage, and diagnosed the issue as roots in the pipes. I was charged almost $600 for this service. I decided to get a second opinion, and the other plumber found that there were no roots in the pipes (confirmed with a camera inspection) and was able to clear the blockage successfully. When I called Mellott Plumbing to explain the situation and request a partial refund, they did issue a refund, which I appreciated. While I'm thankful for the refund and their prompt response, the initial misdiagnosis and incorrect approach caused unnecessary stress and expense. I hope they take this feedback as an opportunity to improve their service in the future.

Gathered up his equipment and said the floor was a little wet and I didn't have any rags. Ok, I will get it. I went down, there was waste on the floor, tracked through the basement, talked about being pissed off. Keep in mind I am a 80 year old man. I took pictures and called there office, they were nice about it, refunded me 100.00 bucks for the clean up. BUT, as far as I am concerned NEVER again NEVER.
