This place truly fantastic!!! I've been going to breakfast here with my grandfather for my entire life. The owner/cook (Vera Jean) knows her way around the kitchen. Don't expect anything really fancy but it's always delicious. Though I have to say her potato salad is probably the best I have ever had....anywhere. A lot of locals come in every morning for breakfast and to socialize. It's funny, the ladies sit at one table and the men at another (under a sign that state's "Liars' Table"). If you do go for breakfast ask VJ for "Eric's Special," you won't be disappointed. On a side note, the restaurant is located on 1st, between John and James street. Though Homer is such a small town, ask anyone and they can direct you to it. read more
