I knew we'd never be able to get a perfect match for a color that is no longer manufactured, but Sandra found several swatches that were pretty darn close. My husband squawked at the price (like he always does about everything... no reflection on Color Tile's prices), so Sandra showed us several less expensive options, which were not as close in color to the old carpet we are keeping (in the upstairs bedrooms), but were still colors that were close enough that it wouldn't be a jolting color change when walking from room to room. We will probably have to replace all the carpet in about a year, so we'll get something I love later. Anyway, Sandra took about an hour to help me decide which swatch was the closest color in the mid-price range. All the colors start to look the same after a while. She's fabulous. I didn't notice their mistake until after the rocks had been delivered and spread. It cost me a lot of labor hours dealing with their mistake. They were unwilling to do anything about the mistake but give a half hearted apology and a very lame excuse.

The master bath now has a fully tiled shower with swing doors, bench and linear drain. The floor and shower tile are the same, making the look clean and making the room look so much larger. Jerid handled our project. His response time to questions was very quick. Chris Nelson has an excellent team and all workers on the project were diligent and very professional. Employees are incentivized to over-order stone slabs from customers or to cut less than the amount paid for without disclosure. Staff receive a $100 bonus for each unused slab -- material that should rightfully be returned to the customer but is instead resold for the company's profit. Customers should be aware of these practices and carefully verify their orders and remaining materials upon project completion.
