Nice people but make sure you do a price comparison on services. VanDevere's service. prices are…read morehigher than other dealers and the Warranty Forever is a real headache to getting things paid for and fixed. You will have to do a lot of work if there is a dispute so make sure you have all of your paperwork together. VanDevere will call you to schedule your service appts to keep you warranty active but keep in mind they try to schedule it a month or more earlier than needed. If you do it then you'll actually pay for more oil changes so just use their notice as a heads up only. Also keep in mind that they will NOT notify you if the warranty has been cancelled due to missing your oil change by a day or two. That happened to someone I know and for years they kept up with an aggressive none manufacturer but Warranty Forever recommended schedule. I also suggest double checking your oil levels after an oil change. The last two times, my car has run really low on oil about two- four weeks after an oil change. When I replace the oil, the level stays fine until my next oil change. Not sure why that happened so I'm watching to see if my car which is older is burning that much more oil or if it just didn't get filled all the way back up. I have not had any problems prior to the last two times.

I was helped by Ashley, and I highly recommend her to anyone else looking to purchase a vehicle. Even though my appointment to view a car was at 7:30pm (half an hour before closing time!), I was warmly greeted, and at no point in time did I feel rushed, even though she had to stay at work longer because of me. I really appreciated Ashley's honesty when she didn't know an answer to a question. Love a person who can admit when they don't know something and then go find the person/resource with the knowledge! She made sure to get me the info I needed. Also, when I messaged her the day after my purchase because I noticed something that I had missed when initially viewing the car, she responded very swiftly and got me set up with service right away! Shoutout to her manager, Mark, John from Warranty, and David from Finance as well, who all helped make the purchasing process go smoothly~ Satisfied with my new car, and the service that I received!

BEWARE READ LOW STARS FIRST.!!! 0 stars:…read moreI had an extremely negative and frankly alarming experience with North Coast Mitsubishi. I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with this dealership DO NOT DO IT or proceed with extreme caution. On October 22, 2025, I purchased a 2021 Dodge Durango Citadel from this dealership. Before finalizing the purchase, I specifically reviewed the Carfax report with salesperson Malik Jenkins. The report noted prior damage, and I explicitly asked for more details. I was told there were no photos available and was assured, clearly and directly that the damage was minor and limited to the front bumper, purely cosmetic, and that the vehicle had been fully inspected. Within days of taking possession, the vehicle began making loud, unusual noises. Concerned, I eventually brought it to a certified Dodge dealership for inspection. What they found was shocking: structural damage to the front crossmember, a critical part of the vehicle's subframe. This is not cosmetic damage, it is a serious safety issue. The component showed clear signs of prior impact and attempted repair and required full replacement. Let me be absolutely clear: structural/subframe damage is not "minor bumper damage." It directly affects the safety, integrity, and value of the vehicle. Had I been told the truth, I would never have purchased this vehicle under any circumstances. The dealership is now claiming that I "understood there was prior structural damage." That is completely false. At no point was structural damage disclosed. Instead, the damage was minimized and misrepresented. A signature on paperwork does not equal informed consent when material facts are misrepresented or withheld. This situation leaves only two possibilities: * The dealership knew about the structural damage and failed to disclose it, or * They failed to properly inspect the vehicle despite claiming that it had been inspected and was safe Either scenario is UNACCEPTABLE. I made multiple attempts to resolve this issue directly with emails, phone calls, and even certified mail to management, but received no meaningful response or accountability. As a result of this experience, I am now dealing with thousands of dollars in repairs, diminished vehicle value, and the stress of having unknowingly driven an unsafe vehicle. This was not just poor customer service, this was deceptive and underhanded business conduct. Misrepresenting a vehicle's condition, especially when it involves structural safety issues, is completely unacceptable. They're claiming that because I initialed paperwork stating there was no damage, I'm now responsible for serious issues that didn't even present themselves until days later; despite being told the vehicle was in good condition. An underhanded position that ignores the reality that no reasonable buyer would seek an inspection when the car appeared to run perfectly and was represented as sound. I would not trust this dealership to be transparent or honest about the condition of any vehicle they sell. BUYERS BEWARE! They also have a lot of complaints on AG site, I wish I had looked at that first. Pics show how I was driving and then claiming they did an inspection DON'T FALL FOR OUT TEAM WILL CONTACT YOU BECAUSE THEY'LL JUST TELL YOU THAT YOU SIGNED/INITIALED AT PURCHASING. I WILL continue to update this post so potential buyers can beware

Ken Ganley Toyota Akron

Car dealers rarely get a fair shake. Generally the expectation is if you go to a car dealer you'll…read morebe met with people trying to get one over on you. I'm going to share with you my experience with Ken ganley Toyota of Akron. I've been very pleased with the 2017 Cherokee I bought for my daughter a few years ago. I set up a search alert on cars.com for a Cherokee 2019 or newer. Up popped a Trailhawk Elite which is basically the regular Cherokee but it's lifted a bit and looks kind of cool and has a hist of safety systems like emergency braking Lane departure etc to help keep a 16-year-old driver safe. I contacted the dealer and met a salesman by the name of Chauncey Clausen... Like the pickle he said. I made arrangements to drive to Akron which is about an hour away to test drive the vehicle and give it a once over. NADA had this vehicle about 6,500 more than it was listed. They did a fair job detailing it and Chauncey was kind and personable. He explained to me the process and we took the car for a test drive and I immediately saw that the service four-wheel drive light was on. It shouldn't have been because of their multi-point inspection they put the cars through before they put them on the lot. The interior was in great shape the exterior was also in great shape for 67,000 mi. I told Chauncey of the service four wheel drive light and we made a deal of my purchase of the car contingent upon investigating and repairing whatever was wrong with the four-wheel drive light. Two days later the Toyota store gave up on trying to fix it and sent it to the Jeep store where they diagnosed it needed a PTU also known as a transfer case. Here is where I'm appreciative of chauncey, and Ken ganley Toyota. I worked very closely with the Jeep store and the part alone was about $3,200, which the dealership unfortunately had to absorb per the deal. They were very clear and upfront with me and some good natured ribbing made me realize that they are definitely in the red on this deal. But they went through it anyway. It took 5 weeks to get the car repaired and fortunately I was not in a hurry and am very patient. I got to see Chauncey again upon delivery and dealing with the f and I guy was also a very quick and painless experience. I was pre-qualified and had a loan from my credit union so I was aware that this deal was probably not going to net them any profit. The purpose of my post is not to rub it in but to explain that there are some folks that will stick by their agreements and follow through. This dealership probably could have pulled the deal and this review would look very different than it does right now. Overall I'm very happy with the car and I do have to do some repairs and upgrades that are commensurate with the wear and tear one would expect. But overall my salesman Chauncey was quite the righteous dude. Honest forthright up front and a genuine nice fella. If Mr ganley does get to read this I hope you will throw Chauncey a couple of bucks as he is a statesman of this dealership. This will be my second car I have purchased from ganley. Overall I really can't think of anything other than to say thanks and it was a pleasure doing business with you.

This could be the most dishonest , fraudulent dealership ive ever encountered in my 30 years of…read morebuying cars. Tried to purchase a brand new Camry and was actually given the incorrect car and situation has still not been resolved . They say they thought I knew I was buying a different car with less options yet even their own salesman thought he was selling me a car with the cold weather package and conviennce package as he showed it to me in person and went over those options with me before I signed the paperwork. Why would I suddenly think I was buying a different car then the one I just looked at before we signed the paperwork to buy it ? Their explanation makes no sense. They even apologized for the mistake and offered half the difference but why should I pay for half their mistake ? I paid 30k for a brand new car and expected to get the correct car I agreed to purchase and the car I was shown before I signed to purchase it . They are saying the vin on the car matches the paperwork which I don't deny but that is only because of the mistake they made by showing me and letting me take home a different car which is the car I thought I was buying. When I showed up that day to buy the car the salesman showed it to me and went over everything and how it works and made sure I was happy with it before we signed the paperwork. I liked and signed the paperwork but had no idea the vin on the car he just showed me didn't match the vin on the paperwork. The next day they called and said they wanted the car back that I had just purchased the day before and had been driving all day because the vin didn't match. They picked up the car and replaced with a car I hadn't seen before and wasnt allowed to inspect and this car was or course missing the features we agreed upon and didn't even have floor mats in it. It was basically a Camry with no options on it whatsoever . Is it really my job to check the vin on the car against the vin on the purchase agreement ? I don't know many consumers that do that when they purchase a car it seems like the dealership should be doing that not the customer. Also is it really ok for a dealership to show me a different car before I sign the paperwork and then the next day switch the cars on me ? Doesn't that kinda seem like fraud to you ? Had they shown me the correct car with the correct vin that day I would have never purchased the car because it would have been very obvious the options were missing from the car and this whole nightmare would have been avoided and I wouldn't be out 30k for a car I didn't agree to purchase. Take some accountability for your actions and stop trying to deflect and make excuses for your mistakes.

I would highly recommend WMC. I've worked with salesman Nick Fleming in most cases, but you will receive outstanding and respectful service from anyone on the team. They are all approachable, flexible, kind, open-minded and willing to work with you. They listen to their customers and do not apply sales pressure. (there is no need, because they are so good!) Obviously, the vehicles are always priced right, (fairly) that's why I continue to go back and will continue to do so. On May 2, 2020 I picked up a 2019 Chevy Colorado and I absolutely love it. Nick has stayed in touch with me to make sure I'm happy with everything and, of course I am! Mutual respect, trust and honesty are important characteristics in a relationship. The WMC team clearly exhibits all of these characteristics and more!

From the moment I contacted them about the vehicle to the moment I arrived to test drive Nick was super helpful. I requested some pictures of the suspension since I saw some aftermarket modifications and without one complaint Nick had gotten me all the photos requested. Every dealer I had inquired here in Chicago had ridiculous dealer fees, lot fees, etc and the asking price was already more than a grand more than what Wadsworth motors was asking. This was honestly my first car purchase from a dealer that didn't leave me feeling like I was scammed. Absolutely no buyers remorse and the best part is I didn't even have to haggle. I paid their full asking price. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a car in the area. My wife and I were even talking about wanting to make future purchases from them despite the distance!
