I am a very consistent Kneader's customer. I've frequented numerous locations in numerous cities and have had nothing but positive experiences. That was until this location. The speed of service is abysmal, regardless of the size or complexity of your orders (My family and I once waited 25 minutes for two cookies from the display tray). The restaurant is consistently understaffed and under supplied. I've never been to a restaurant that more frequently informs me that they are out of a given product. (It's 6:15 on a Friday night, how are you out of the Focaccia bread that is featured in your sandwiches.) I wish I could say that the quality attempts to make up for the speed, but it unfortunately doesn't. I have been served cold Au jus with a French dip sandwich, have had brown and wilted lettuce on a club sandwich and been served cold soup. Given that somehow this location is always busy (it's the only kind of deli food in a reasonable distance is my only explanation) it's virtually impossible to flag down an employee to lodge a complaint a I love Kneader's as a chain, but am unable to recommend this one. read more

I wanted to give this store one more chance.. it's terrible!! They didn't have half of what we wanted and waited over 30 mins in the drive up for 2 sandwiches and salad. Didn't get drinks because they didn't have it (coffee and tea) out of soup, no avocado, the list could go on.. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Love the lobster roll, the made to order breakfast sandwiches and the ambiance. Yes, you may wait in line, but it's always quality fast food and it can feel healthy even though it isn't. Worse Kneaders I've been to. Wether it's not getting me the correct smoothie, or the quality of the omelette, this is terrible. The one star is because if you get there first thing in the morning, the French toast is good. Please, if you still insist on saying there, don't get the Greek omelette. It is so terrible. The green onion was cut so large and inconsistent, I choked on a bite. The vegetables aren't incorporated in the actual omelette, it's more of an afterthought. And I have never had an omelette that had more than a teaspoon of feta cheese on it. The egg was flat, and so was the taste. I know it's not a fluke, because I've tried it 3 times, yes 3 times! It's my favorite omelette everywhere else. But it's horrible in Herriman. read more

I love Kneaders for their Turkey Cranberry Sunflower salad along with the Poppy Seed Vinaigrette dressing that usually comes with it. Well today I ordered my salad and got home only to find out that they put ranch dressing in there instead. I called the store, the girl that answered the phone was nice, I explained the situation to her and she said that the store was out and they should have told me when I ordered. I explained that if I had been told up front I would have changed my order. All she did was say she was sorry I wasn't told but didn't even offer to refund me if I wanted to bring it back. Oh Kneaders on 134th, how I've meant to review you for YEARS. Oh how many - many - times you've *royally* screwed up (read: completely ruined) our smoothies! Long since lost being worth wading into the gory details. But for a restaurant that's typically pretty great, we've long since stopped going here except for the occasional craving or meeting other people. Oh and being out of stuff when you drive here and order - gets old. A distant second to messing up orders. read more

The staff is friendly here and every time I've come through, my order has been right on the money (I'm super picky so it's hard for places to get it right sometimes). That said, I don't love the food. I like the food. The croissants are pretty good (I always get the Veggie Avocado on a croissant). The cream cheese brownie I had was tasty, but a little too crumbly/dry for my liking. The cream of broccoli soup was my biggest issue. It is possible to overcook broccoli and this soup just tasted like something out of a can. And because some of the food is just so so, it always ends up feeling like I overpaid. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had (and judging by recent reviews I'm not alone). Did an online order for curbside and arrived a few minutes after the provided time. Texted when I got there as instructed by the sign. Then sat there for 35 minutes. Had a toddler in the car with no coat, mask, or shoes so I couldn't really go inside. Finally called the store after 20 minutes, was on hold for 15 minutes while my toddler lost his mind. The call center person (number doesn't call the store apparently?) contacted the store and they immediately brought my order out (so it was clearly sitting there the whole time). I took it and drove home. Order had the wrong type of bread on the side and was missing my chips. My sandwich was ok at best and very cold. My wife's "raspberry" salad had 4 raspberries and not enough dressing. Horrible experience from start to finish. This was our first time going to that Kneaders, too, and I won't be going back. read more

Had a long day working late, went to go get a hot sandwich at 8:45pm for dinner. Google says they close at 10. When I went to order they said their grill was closed for the night and that they could not make it. Not sure if it was just their laziness or just how they operate but either way it wasn't good service. read more

Went to kneeders today, ordered a salad with croutons, got home no croutons!!! And there was a strawberry pie with one slice sold. I asked how much for the remaining 6 pieces, and was told it was 3.99 a slice. A full pie is 18 bucks, but because a slice was sold.. I would have had to pay 24 bucks for a whole pie less one slice.. the herriman kneeders never gets my order right.. and the pie thing.. uggghhhh.. to bad I love the pasteries.. read more

I love Kneaders! Just not this location. You can't order salads because half of the lettuce is brown and wilted. You can't order soup for lunch because most of the time they don't have them ready. Some of the staff is helpful and some don't know what they're doing. Save yourself some time and frustration and just go somewhere else! read more

The biggest reason for the lack of love revolves around them always running out of their offerings. I understand that they are a bakery, and its difficult to whip up a loaf of bread with short notice...but its not just bread they run out of...soup, bacon, cheese have all made the list. When they do have the goods, the food is fair. They skimp a little to much on key ingredients, like turkey and avacado. The place fills a need in the area, so they will continue to survive, but im looking forward to the prospects of the future. read more

Every time I go to Kneaders I always hope it'll be better and it's just not. I usually go with a veggie because you'd think that'd be hard to mess up but it's just boring. A lack of veggies and too many condiments. All of the food lacks seasoning. However the pastries are delicious. I'd go there for sweets but not food. read more

I like kneaders but this location needs to get it together. They are always out of soup, they consistently mess up orders, I'm not talking about when you substitute things, they mess up orders that are supposed to made the way it says on the menu. For example, I ordered a salad that comes with ranch, I was asked "what kind of dressing I would like", I said " ranch", seconds later at the window I was asked again what dressing, same response. So, when I get home what did I get on my salad, a vinaigrette. I've also been asked what kind of bread I wanted for my sandwich and given something completely different. We have never had an order that was done correctly from this location, so if your looking to go somewhere that will completely mess up your order, head on over to the Riverton kneaders. read more

If you come to Kneaders and don't eat bread, you're missing out. Their bread is delicious. You can buy a whole loaf and have it sliced, for the same price you can get at the grocery store and it's soooo much better!! I've tried the soups, salads and sandwiches; all are great. They make Parmesan chips in house that are delicious. read more

I absolutely love this kneaders!!! The service is outstanding and the food is even better! They have never messed up my order and are always willing to help with whatever I may need. Yesterday I had to wait in line for a while because their register broke down. They were kind enough to bring out a free cookie with my meal due to the delay. This is definitely a go to place for quality sandwiches, soups, and pastries. read more

Terrible service and terrible food. At first I thought this place was insanely busy, but it turned out the long line was due to the very slow cashier at the front counter. When it was finally my turn to other, my order was wrong, not once, but twice... and even though I only ended up ordering baked goods, that were already baked and on display, it still took almost 30 mins to get them out of the case and into a bag. Unbelievable. The cupcakes we had were stale and the icing tasted like Crisco, the cookies were hard, and the brownies were just not good. I will never go here again. I Love Kneaders. But this location is the absolute worst! I ordered a chai latte and a brownie and I stood at the drive thru front window for about 15 min after I paid. So ridiculous! It shouldn't take that long to get those things. And to top it off the girl that handed me the brownie accidentally dropped the bag and landed on the floor. Just left this restaurant without ordering. I observed the man working the register wearing one glove on his hands and using that glove to take money, use the register, pick up and touch food for customers. Never once washing his hands or changing the glove between tasks. Disgusting. read more

If you say you offer French toast until 11 then you should serve French toast until 11. The last three weeks I have come in at 10:30 and they have said they're sold out. If you have bread and eggs then you can keep making French toast or advertise that you make a limited supply. read more

I was there last week and gotta say this location is the absolute worst kneaders location and that's saying something. If it wasn't for my wife liking their food I'd absolutely never miss this place. The experience included a broken speaker at the drive through that the staff was unaware of, unfriendly staff inside the restaurant, not busy at all but still took 10+ minutes for just one bowl of soup that was already prepared, a manager who was more interested in if his staff had gotten a drink for themselves and a bunch of untrained people standing around or doing jobs to prep for the next day instead of helping current customers. If you enjoy kneaders it would be well worth your time to go to another location. Hopefully "When" they close down due to poor service, a beto's or other mexican restaurant can take over the location. read more

The prices they have posted are incorrect. What you pay is not what the menu advertises, and it's been like this for long enough it should be corrected by now. Service times are often horrible, and forget coming in during the afternoon if you want to do more than stand around waiting for someone to even be able to help you. It seems like they don't staff enough people to serve their drive-thru and front counter at the same time. Drive-thru is also a pain. Whenever I've used it the person taking my order has asked me they'll be with me in a moment. I've never had this problem before. As others have mentioned, they run out of things constantly. I agree with most of the posts as far as waiting forever and running out of product. I placed an order with them for 4 dozen pastries to pick up on 12/20 for a family party. When my husband went to pick it up, after waiting for 25 minutes, he was told there was no order. I thought maybe I had called the wrong Kneaders, but no, they just lost my order. I usually use the one in West Jordan as I work near there and have had nothing but the best service. If they do make a mistake, they make it right in record time. Love the sandwiches. Favorites are tuna on rye or a croissant and turkey with cranberry on a croissant. Love the fresh bread and the bakery goods. Great soups. Convenient drive-thru. Service has always been efficient. We live near the Herriman location but also use the South Jordan location. My husband enjoys the French Dip and loves the French bagette. It's a winner for a good lunch or light dinner. One of these days I'm going to drive up and pick up a breakfast sandwich. Those sound delicious. read more

I guess we're lucky because we live fairly close to Kneaders and like it. The good has always been good, I like the Pannini sandwiches and pie for dessert. The staff is pleasant. I enjoy the fireplace in their sitting area too. read more
