She walked away back to a colleague in a different room and before she came back I had already decided this place does not care about good service, I am out of here. She seemed so bothered by me arriving early to my appointment too, the whole experience was off putting. Also, the place smelled like it hadn't had fresh air in months.

In fact, my physiotherapist told me I healed very quickly and he always found his clients who use acupuncture heal more quickly. In addition, Lisa provides other organic supplements, holistic therapies as well as topical pain relievers. These have been key for not only for my illness / injury recoveries they have helped me remain healthy as well as feel and look youthful. When Lisa opened Healing Foundations, I had been seeing another acupuncturist for over ten years. After seeing her, Lisa soon became the acupuncturist my I recommend to all my friends. I truly can't say enough about Lisa, she is a gifted acupuncturist!

I was told they could fit me in that same afternoon and Michelle gave me one of the best massages of my life (seriously!). Not only did I walk out of there with my pain SIGNIFICANTLY improved, but I had that lovely dazed, slightly euphoric case of the dumbs that you get when you've had an hour of much-needed, long overdue relaxation. I was so pleased I booked another massage with Michelle for 2 weeks later and had a second wonderful experience. I was faced with accepting the change and staying even though I really wanted to try cupping or leaving and facing a cancellation fee. I felt trapped. The environment itself was fine although I felt like I was snapped out of relaxing a handful of times from people upstairs and doors opening/closing in the hallway. Massage itself was good/decent but inconsistent in some areas. Checkout felt awkward, with a lot of emphasis/pressure around tipping and packages. I was told to just sign so when I did she asked if I tipped and there wasn't a way to go back. I just tipped cash. Overall, not a bad massage, but the lack of communication and pushy upselling left a bad impression and made me uncomfortable. I'll likely try somewhere else before coming back if I do.
