It was horrible. Seven hours to replace two springs. Installer had no idea what he was doing. ZERO paperwork. Beware....

KM Garage was dispatched to us from a random garage dispatcher in NH. We were not given name or contact information for them until after. Ace1 Garages was the dispatcher which was unhelpful as well. KM Garage did show up quickly, which was great, as we were having an emergency with our garage. HOWEVER, they didn't tell us anything, guessed on the details of what was wrong and just started working on everything before discussing the price. They completed the job QUICKLY and took all of the parts with him. He didn't discuss price and then immediately charged us on Venmo over $1300 for a spring and two drums. These didn't even seem to need replacing, but we don't know garages, so we accepted this. After he quickly left upon payment, we tried to look up more information, found additional horrible reviews, scam tactics, and the REAL price of what this may have cost, which was closer to $500-700 tops. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Complete scam artist. DO NOT USE EVER. They have not returned our calls. read more

Do not use them. They have a scam going on. They will install fast and sloppy. But if there is an issue they won't answer the phone or emails. I wish I had read the reviews before I hired this company. The problem was that they operated under a made-up name and did not put their address on the invoice. I suspected that they were fraud when the technician forgot to put a bulb in the newly installed garage door opener, and I discovered that he did not leave a manual. No model number on a motor that could be found on the internet and no response from the office. Moreover, I was told that the installation price $1,200 is so high because it's a top model on the market but after researching, it appeared that similar models cost less than $200. There is an alert on bbb.org: According to Better Business Bureau® files, this business has a pattern of complaints concerning - deceptive billing practices, - high-pressure sales tactics, and - poor service quality. Consumers state that the business - fails to provide upfront cost estimates, - pressures them into unnecessary repairs, and - demands digital payments while later disputing check payments,. On 3/11/25, BBB sent a notice to KM Garage Door LLC identifying the potential pattern of complaints with a request for a business response. As of 3/21/25, the business has not responded to BBB's request. I am proceeding with a Visa dispute for "not as described / misrepresentation" and submitting my complaint with the Attorney General's Consumer Protection division. read more

One of two garage doors stopped working after a few months after making a couple loud sounds and I've tried to call and email them and cannot get them to respond. The doors are under warranty but that doesn't matter if the installer won't respond. I'll need to contact a local person to make repair. read more

Gave 1 star, and they don't d eserve that. Finally got a text response and a 2 hour arrival window, (twice), AND THEY BLEW ME OFF TWICE!!! Do not use them. They installed a garage door on one of my rental units and it fell off the tracks very quickly. I tried contacting dozens of times and they couldn't even call me back and pretend like they would come out and fix the issue. I ended up fixing it myself. read more

I contacted KM to in repair my existing door opener, a Tech came and could not repair the motor, suggested installing a new motor for the door. He did so and I asked how to pay him, he suggested Discover Card, I did so, when I saw the invoice the charges were greatly increased. NOT CORRECT. Do not use this company. They were to replace both garage door springs, but only replaced one. Put spring on in wrong direction, so to make the door work they loosed connection to drive rod for second spring, so it would function. Way over charged on price, especially with not replacing second spring and poor assembly. Called them 1/2 doz times with no response read more

The worst company I have ever had to deal with. Charged us $314. to install two garage door sensors. They did not remove the old ones and they left the frayed wires that attach to the senors. They did not do a simple repair on them They also left everything on our garage floor. When I called the owner Sat. morning she said they would be over on Sunday between 10:00 and noon. What a joke! scam!!! charged an exorbitant amount and quoted 200-400 for a spring luckily didn't do it.. I closed and opened the door again and the cable came off the newly repaired pulley. thought it was the spring so called another company for a quote... the new company quoted me $35 and when they got here they said springs were fine and the cable had been tied wrong and oil was used which made the track sticky .. my garage door is fine and probably always was ... out 400 for pulleys and installation. read more
