WARNING: Priority Pass members are not allowed in from around 12-7:00PM every day. The lounge is reserved only for Air France, Emirates, and KLM flyers. You will have a MUCH different experience here if you are coming off hours versus coming as an Air France/KLM flyer. From looking at photos, I can see they put different wines out at least, and way different food options. During restricted hours, the hot food is the same as the Air France lounge but the wine is slightly different (wines are worse here). Look.. it's Priority Pass's fault for not communicating the policy. No need to be rude to the workers. The level of entitlement of some people is incredible. I came in with basically no wait at 2:45PM, being on a designated airline. Lots of priority pass people were getting turned away. There is a center circle with a hot food / charcuterie buffet and an open bar with several wine options and liquor options. I only saw American wines though, as they are serving Decoy cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Overall weaker than the Air France options. The food here is very reasonable and I love that they labeled their allergens. The salmon toast was decent (the toast was too soft, but the salmon avocado was great). The braised Beef with sliced potatoes was a bit well done and a tad dry but quite flavorful. The three cheese ravioli was very buttery, paired well with the mushroom. Better than standard airport food but quite rich - I couldn't eat the last ravioli because it was so buttery. The desserts were surprisingly nut allergy safe and I really enjoyed the cheesecake bite. Overall, the food made for a great late lunch. For a better wine selection I'd trek to the Air France lounge, but this has a bathroom and more outlets near food.

Easy to enter. Plenty of staff to keep things stocked. Simple breakfast fixings. I would have liked more hot items like sausage, gravy, hash browns OR maybe some Dutch foods!

Small lounge and basic food/drink. I came in Tuesday morning and did not have to wait. The lounge is small and clean. The breakfast options are very basic: pancake, egg, bread, muffin, cereal. Not many hot items. They had coffee machine that make cappuccino and hot chocolate and other coffee drinks. Fridge has standard soft drink and juice and options for alcohol. It's ok for quick bite before flight

On a recent trip passing though IAH I swung by the KLM Crown Lounge just to check it out. If you are traveling domestically it's a bit of a hike as it is in the international gate area. It was my first time there and the line was a bit long but it moved fast. Its decent sized lounge with some good food+drink options and a bar for alcoholic beverages. It was clean and well organized. The bartender was a really nice guy. They had this tasty broccoli salad that I just could not get enough of. Overall it is not as nice as the Virgin or Capital One lounges but still a good place to relax and recharge.

A little older lounge, but they had hot lasagna-like plate, great dill potato salad and Italian wedding soup, ok couscous salad and not great coleslaw, and some light potato chip snacks and water/coffee/alcoholic drinks for the guests. Located in D terminal at about D15/16, close to the Airtrain. Small seating in dining areas and slightly bigger couches in two rooms. I'd say this is better than the Air France lounge at the end of D. Service a little slower - took a while to get some fresh forks, plates, and the pasta dish, and that ran out quickly. Check-in speed was ok. The bar was staffed (so no self-serve). Little drinks and some fruit like apples and bananas. Overall bathroom was ok (basics). No showers or sleeping pods, so not nearly as good as the Polaris or United Club lounges, but it suffices. Not too busy. You can get in here with the Priority Pass.

After a long holiday travel fiasco, I was glad to be able to just relax and chill a bit in a lounge where things seemed less hectic. A visit to KLM Crown Lounge (around D16 of IAH) was perfect for that. The lounge is ok...to me..maybe 3.5 stars. It's a little smaller and has just tiny bits of everything (small--mostly just continental breakfast) food, small bar, small restroom/seating area). Staff hustled and worked hard to constantly clean and tidy all areas up. They have some different,.comfortable areas for seating. PP members have restricted access mostly to morning (check in staff told me I could only stay until 11am but PP app says til 1pm during their peak operating hours ‍).

Had a bit of time before our flight, so we dropped in for a nice cup of coffee and something to eat. They have plenty of coffee options, though we prefer ours black. It's a self-serve breakfast area with toast, cereal, and pancakes. There's also a good variety of fresh fruit, yogurts, and muffins. The space is comfortable and tidy--really a pleasant spot to relax while waiting for your flight.

Located near Gate D16, the Priority Pass Lounge aka KLM Crown Lounge offer refreshments, food, and a nice quiet area to rest prior/post flight. After we checked in we were told our 3 hour cap starts then. It's clean, organized, and well lit. There's coffee, tea, an assortment of carbonated beverages and a bar that is capped at 5 drinks for your visit. I had some avocado toast, there was also boiled eggs, apples, granola, cereal, cookies, and oatmeal. It's a good place to go if you're waiting for your flight or are waiting for the appropriate time to go into another lounge. All in all for my first airport lounge, I don't have anything else to compare it to. It was a pleasant experience.

I really like this lounge and have had pleasant experiences with the staff....when I have been able to get in. Unfortunately, I have been turned away on several occasions due to entry time restrictions or extremely long lines with Priority Pass. I realize that an increasing number of people have lounge access nowadays but still find it very frustrating not to be able to use your lounge access. My recommendation for Priority Pass travelers - read the fine print on the lounge listing for restricted hours and allow yourself a lot of extra time for your visit. Also, be prepared to be turned away. If you make it inside, they have a nice bar set up including wines, liquors and champagne, a small prepared food section, toaster, and usually a grab and go snack like chips or fruit. The inside is fairly modern and the staff do a good job keeping everything clean. Hopefully they will consider making it larger so everyone has a chance to visit and enjoy.

Waited in line for 30 minutes and the only food option was Chicken noodle soup, and cold cheese sandwiches. I guess it's better than nothing, but probably the worst food showing of any lounge I've been in.

I even lost my Yelp elite status for 2026, but that won't keep me from sharing, just makes me sad. I'm hoping for a better year in 2026...so here is my first review for the year! I am trying to put 2025 behind me and I am starting off the year with a trip. To my surprise we were blessed with an upgrade of which I am forever grateful and we got access to the Polaris Lounge. What a wonderful place to kick back and relax before a long flight! I've only been in the regular United Club up to now, and I have always been curious. They are similar, but a lot less crowded. There is plenty of cozy seating with different options from tables to lounge chairs. There is a buffet like the regular United Club, with snacks and drinks. Plus, there is a bar. In addition to the items like the regular Club, there is a sit down restaurant inside as well where you can order off a special menu if you don't want to go to the buffet (no worries, no extra cost). Moreover, just about all the seating areas have a charging station (of course, if you sit at a regular table there isn't any). The staff is super friendly from the time you check in to the time you leave. They make you feel seen and special. If you have access, I highly recommend to take advantage and relax...even for a few minutes. Thank you United for helping me to hopefully have a better year ahead.

Turned out to be a great decision. The Polaris Lounge was clean, well appointed and quieter. But, the best part was the service. Stephanie welcomed us and when I asked for some guidance, kindly explained how everything worked, where the food was, bathrooms, etc. She arranged for wheelchair service to pick us up and we found a spot to sit and relax. Unfortunately, the seats, while mid century modern beautiful were med century modern incredibly low. We did find some chairs at a table that were more comfortable Thomas helped us clean up a small mess, very graciously and professionally. He also provided additional friendly guidance but in a very helpful way. Eating was a bit of the a challenge but thankfully, every dish was labeled for potentially problematic ingredients! Awesome! All the entrees contained dairy. So, I got some salami, cranberries, sunflower seeds and roasted beans. It went well with my lame stomach and I enjoyed several servings during our multi hour wait. Jason, the chef, came out and served vegan beans and carnitas along with various fixings. He was very helpful working around dietary restrictions and friendly also. Coffee was Italian Lilly brand which makes very nice espresso. I wouldn't say we are experts but this was a very nice lounge experience! Thanks United Polaris! Life is good with a comfortable layover.

Nice views of the planes and runways. Food selections are limited - a couple of hot dishes, a couple of salads, some mini sandwiches, lemon bars and chocolate chip cookies for dessert, and the ubiquitous cheese and crackers. I tried a mini club sandwich, pasta in a creamy sauce with sausage, and dessert. Everything I tried tasted good, though I typically never eat the cheese and crackers. There are no self-serve beverages here other than water and coffee (the club in C North is the only one with a soda machine). However, soda (and alcohol, of course) were available from the friendly bartender. Despite its large size, this lounge can get crowded - all of the United Clubs in Houston do, although the E lounge is usually not as bad as the two Terminal C clubs (the C south one had a line out the door when I walked by). The first time I approached the Terminal E lounge, the classic "currently not accepting one-time passes" sign was up, but I came back about an hour later and the sign was gone and I was in. (Yes, I know I'm part of the overcrowding problem with my United Explorer card, but I mostly just have it for the Group 2 boarding. The lounge passes are just a side benefit).

After that, our oldest politely asked if he could also have a bag of popcorn. The volunteer responded firmly, "That's enough. You guys had too much already." I was honestly surprised by the tone and response, especially since they had only taken two items each. I asked if we could simply pay for the popcorn, but she said payment wasn't the issue -- they just didn't have enough food. What confused me was that there were no posted signs explaining item limits or any guidance about restrictions. Clear communication upfront would have prevented the misunderstanding. We also asked if we could use the microwave and were told no again, which added to the frustration. We donated $25 during our visit, and when I mentioned it, we were told that donation funds cannot be used to purchase additional food. That was surprising to hear. When the shift changed, the new volunteers were very polite and welcoming. However, by that point we felt uncomfortable and chose to leave without escalating the situation. The older woman working the baggage service desk was less than helpful and unnecessarily confrontational. When I asked for assistance regarding my checked bag after changing to an earlier flight, she told me it was "my job to know the baggage rules" and that she didn't want to help because she didn't want to risk getting fired. She stated, "United is looking for ways to fire the older people," which was both unprofessional and concerning. I'm just needing help with my families bags. She continued on and on how I should know the fine print before switching the flights and there's nothing she can do, which seemed like a cop out for being lazy. Earlier, United gate agents in SLC had asked for volunteers to move to an earlier flight due to delays out of Salt Lake City. We were told our bags would make the flight and, if not, they would be delivered. Based on that information, we agreed to switch flights. At baggage claim, instead of helping resolve the situation, she criticized how I keep my claim tickets stickers stuck on the back of my passport wallet. I store them on the back of my passport wallet (not on my passport itself), and I had to show her this after she questioned me about it saying it wasn't allowed on the passport. Why this was even a conversation I'm not sure, but I'm a seasoned traveler. I ultimately called customer service myself, and within 10 minutes they arranged luggage delivery without issue. United, if customer service is truly a priority, this is not the standard that should represent your baggage service team. Makes me want to cancel both our credit cards and fly a different airline.
