I scheduled a long over due Brazilian Blow out and trim today with Krissy. Let me say that during covid I really torched my hair bleaching trying to transition to gray from dark brown etc so by the time I was reunited with Krissy I was ashamed of my dry frizzy half purple tumbleweed head of hair. Well, needless to say I walked out of there with lovely shiny healthy looking smooth hair. I drove to the gas station and someone actually stopped me and said, " Your hair is beautiful ! I've had my hair done here a couple times and I've left very happy both times. I can tell Krissy what I want in my vague/abstract terms and she just totally gets it. Another reason I love going to her is because of the online appointment system. Parking is easy too. I mean, I can't really think of a critical thing to say. It's just under $200 (including tip) to get a full color, cut and blow out which of course is a bit pricey but I think it's fair given her level of skill. Just went to Krissy for the second time after trying her out on Groupon. Let me just say...FINALLY, I found someone who knows how to cut thick hair and who colors like a master. She knows hair to a science!! I am beyond thrilled. Nice, clean salon, relaxing and easy. I even like her appointment system lol. Very user friendly and she accepts venmo! Love her!! I see that there's one negative review. I feel compelled to react here. I feel it's totally unwarranted. The Groupon voucher explains that there could be an extra charge for cuts/hair that take extra time. That's standard! She does not bump clients for other clients and is so totally accommodating. Krissy is awesome! This was my first time dyeing hair. I had a lot of questions and wasn't entire sure what I wanted. Krissy was great about scheduling me in and helping me decide on what I wanted :) She's serious about her work and even asks you for pictures of the color you want in advance, to make sure she had the right color in stock. She works fast and did a wonderful job. The bleaching didn't hurt at all, which is a big plus because I had to bleach multiple times. I came in as Krissy was finishing Angie P. mothers hair. In my opinion the mothers hair looked great. Krissy compensated Angie P. by not charging her one cent for 3 hours of service (highlights, color, cut and blowdry) because she was not satisfied with the color her moms hair turned out. Angie P. behaved in appropriately by making a scene and was extremely rude to Krissy. Angie P is not the type of client anyone would want in their salon. Krissy is a great hairstylist. She did an amazing job on correcting my hair and was very professional. The place was clean and the pup that was there (Dexter) was very sweet and friendly. Do not go to this place. I came with my mother for her pre-bday treat. I asked Krissy for her hair to be much darker. After 3 HOURS (!!!) of highlights her hair where the same blond. When I pointed it out we were told to leave her shop and go somewhere else to fix it!!! Never in my life something like that happened!! It's disgraceful!! The shop is dirty, bathroom is filthy. The owner- Krissy seems like she is just starting out and doesn't know what she is doing or how to treat customers. The hair was cut uneven, and instead of lawyers there were straight lines. We had to go to another salon to fix it, whole day wasted!! The huge problem is she has a DOG in a shop, his bed is in the middle of the shop. The dog BARKS every time another dog passes. From the time I requested to the time I was in the chair was under an hour. The haircut is awesome. I gave pretty vague instructions and she nailed it.
