Don't walk run. I brought 4 pairs of yoga pants. I was told $17.00 to hem all 4 , I confirmed that was my total cost, since they were only yoga pants. There is a sign that you have to pay in advance for alterations, I got out a $20.00 bill and went to pay and he said no when you pick up. Well I went to pick up today and they want $68.00. I also found out that I am not the first person this happened to. So do yourself a favor and don't even go there. In my experience, the owners are pretty honest people. Two years ago, I came back from Paris with a luxurious, lamb fur jacket. My mom dropped it off at their store. When I came to pick it up, it still smelled bad (bad smells are notoriously difficult to get out of fur). I told the store owner, and he told me he would rewash it. I had to leave town to go back to where I work and asked my mom (who lives in Plainsboro) to pick up the coat for me. The pandemic happens, and I don't go back to Plainsboro for 2 years. When I return, I find the coat has shrunk to the size of a kid's coat and is super stiff. AKA: it's completely ruined. I went back to the store yesterday and explained the situation to the owners' daughter to see if there was anything they could do. They felt really bad, but they also said it has been 2 years, which is too long. However, all 3 of the owners (mom, dad, daughter) remembered my specific jacket and decided to give me some compensation. We were all wearing masks, but the daughter even remembered who my mom was. I really appreciate their understanding and willingness to better a situation. I'll be returning as a customer and so will the rest of my family. I asked for the main zipper and a pocket on an adult jacket to be repaired. The $32 repair on the main zipper of the jacket was perfectly executed. Nevertheless, I was charged $8 to have them sew back a pocket on this same jacket and the staff didn't do the work. I found out after I came home. It is the first time I repaired any clothing at this pressing. I have been using their business for years for cleaning outfits satisfactorily. I will come back with this jacket to their business to have the pocket fixed. It would have been more professional of the staff to check the work was done prior to give the jacket to a loyal customer. read more

The price they charge when I drop two pants is $15 total, but when I pick up they charge me $30 each which is $60 total, when I ask why then they reluctantly change to $30 total, very unhonest. They damaged my pant but denied with very rude attitude. The dry cleaned clothes always have very strong smell which should be from dirty cheap chemicals they use. Very bad service!!! read more

I was on a series of job interviews last fall with only two suits. I went to them almost every week, sometimes twice in one week. They quickly recognized me, my husband, and those two suits! They were always so timely and did a fantastic job. We've given them cashmere sweaters, silk blouses, trousers, party dresses and everything has always come back pristine. Prices are reasonable too, definitely recommend for dry cleaning! Also, I always brought back the plastic coverings and metal hangers, and they were happy to take them back for recycling. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I brought my suit jacket to them for my wedding. I wanted to take in the sleeves half an inch so that the sleeves would fall just right. I wasn't asking for a lot. I got it done, went home, and continued to finalize last minute wedding details. I was going to leave it in the plastic wrap but decided to try it on when I realized they only did one sleeve! Wow. What the heck, I was so glad I decided to try it on. Brought it back to them the next day and they said they'd fix it up and I said I needed it by the next day. They said no problem and I left expecting perfection the next day. Came back, and found it was better but it clearly had been given no attention to detail because the sleeves still weren't the same length and they didn't even adjust the buttons on the 2nd sleeve as they did on the first. What...? They said to come back the 3rd time. I said I have a wedding in 3 days, this is not the service I expect when I pay $27 to get my sleeves taken in. Then they started saying they fixed it two times already and etc etc etc. Where's the principle that it should have been done right the first time? It was so audacious of them I got my jacket back and asked for a refund because I needed to now pay another tailor to salvage what they've done... No refund was given. They said they tried twice. As if that's something I should pay them for or empathize with. I'm paying them to get it done right, the first time. Instead they shrugged their shoulders and watched as I left. I see I'm the first reviewer for them. I just wanted to warn everyone that they really don't care about the customer but just your money. They don't care that you'll be wearing the most important suit ever or what that even means to you. And if they give this much attention (or lack thereof) knowing it's the groom's suit, how much LESS attention will they give to you? I advise you don't come here to find out yourself. I have been going here for years. All I get is dry cleaned or laundered clothing with an occasional button sewn on. They are courteous and kind and priced well. I have never really had an issue with them other than the time their system crashed and they lost my stuff. They found it once the system was fixed and it was lost only a few days. Worst dry cleaners I've ever been to. Them hemmed my pants incorrectly...basically just folded up the fabric and sewed it. It looked horrible. Manager was extremely rude and refused to give me a refund. I would not recommend that anyone go here for anything. There are so many other cleaners in the area. Don't waste your time here. I picked up 2 polyester blouses, about 1 month ago, waiting to wear them for the fall. When I took them out of the plastic, one had a large stain and the other had a hem out- and they were both completely wrinkled. I brought back- hoping to have the appearance remedied or at least a discount, or compensation. But, first they denied even cleaning them- then they said I washed them.They would not give me the name of the owner after many requests- NO, NO.( something up about that) I've been using them since they came to PLainsboro, and they have gotten about $30.00/week since. I needed to get a bridesmaids dress shortened a few inches. I decided to bring my dress here to get altered because the dress shop told me it was a simple alteration and would be less expensive to have it done somewhere else. When I went to pick my dress up, I saw that they had cut the outer chiffon layer at least an inch shorter than the inside lining! It was also at least 2 inches shorter on the right side than the left. They ruined a $250 bridesmaid dress and the manager denied any wrong doing. He even tried to say that was the style of the dress. They refused to reimburse the cost of the dress and only refunded me the $60 alteration fee after I said I was going to report them to the better business bureau. read more

When I was there, I talked to the daughter of the owner to make sure that they could do dry clean for my pearl color Marmot Montreaux. And here what they did to my hoodie, it was burned. They told me that because this material was made it look like this after dry clean. They told me the owner was not there so they have nothing to do with my jacket then she spoke with her mom by Korean saying that "should we call dad?" and the mom said by Korean that my jacket was old (which I bought 5 months ago) and not good quality so do not hesitate about my problems. They did not know that I can understand Korean. What kind of customer services treated customers like that . I gave my coat to dry clean before and it turned out fine in different store. I am amazed at how rude the man working at this dye cleaner was; he didn't thank me for my new business, never smiled and did not say goodbye. As a first time customer this shows that my business is not appreciated and I will never go back. He also tried to say my 4 clothing items would not be done for 4 days! Very unprofessional cleaners. Brought 2 pairs of pants to be fixed. When I went to pickup, I checked the pants and the work was not done but they had me pay before giving me my clothes. They were very rude and was yelled at by older man who appeared to be tailor. They also asked silly question, when do you want to pick them up. The young Asian woman working there wanted to charge me an additional $15.00 on top of everything else. I should have received an apology for their rude behavior but did not. After some verbal back and forth, they decided to do the job that I paid for while I waited. it appears that the only sensible one was the older Asian woman working there. I have been going there for sometime and this is the first time I encountered such disrespect and lack of customer service. I think this will be my last trip to this business as I do not have to pay my money to receive poor service and disrespect. New consumers beware!! read more
