I am a huge proponent of supporting local business owners and have been coming to Lee's Cleaners for several years. This time after I picked up my clothes, I was horrified to see that a tag on one sweater had been twisted and a hole had been ripped in it. I stood there uncomfortably and let her berate me for at least 5 minutes and when she finally stopped talking, I asked her if she could please fix the hole.
Then, she went on some grandiose tangent about how she was just trying to eat lunch when I came, but that she would do it 'for free' because I was pretty and well-mannered. She complained the entire time she was sewing to the point that I said: "If you would like to give me the thread, I can fix it at home..." The entire experience was so uncomfortable I didn't even bother mentioning the stained dress. I guess I will be finding another dry cleaner... read more
