During the conversation, the manager stated that I was "begging for a job," which I found to be unprofessional and discouraging. Comments like this create the impression of a hostile or toxic work environment and are not appropriate when someone is simply seeking employment. Additionally, I was concerned to observe that an apprentice groomer appears to be grooming dogs without proper licensing or supervision. If that is the case, it raises serious questions regarding safety, compliance, and professional standards. I plan to review the relevant regulations regarding grooming practices. If necessary, I will consider reporting the situation to the appropriate authorities, including the ASPCA. My hope is simply that all animals are being cared for safely and that the workplace maintains a professional standard for both employees and clients.

They're easy to work with & respond quickly to emails & answering questions. Their website has lots of info with reasonable rates & packages. The staff is wonderful & caring. They've accommodated my special requests, like boarding my two dogs together but feeding them separately.On my last vacation they even called to let me know one of my dogs was having digestive issues & could they give her a little pumpkin. What awesome customer service. They also have special drop off & pickup times on Sundays, even tho they're closed. Plus you can watch your pet on Web Cams. This place is a little out of my way but it's so worth it knowing my pups are well taken care of.

Let alone feeling they are not cared for or treated the way you would. People get personal. Read through some other reviews but overall the reviews are high and I would agree. Some employees are not always the most attentive with dogs. We have two rescues and have gone to multiple day care / boarding locations over the years. Either from moving around town or just being unable to go to a location so we looked at others nearby for a "backup" on busy holiday weekends. One of the owners used to work at The Barking Lot and loved our dog. When he left to open this location with his sister he let us know he would love to see our dog again. This is just up the road and we have had both our dogs attend multiple times. For both daycare and boarding with no issues. Doesn't look like much from outside but our dogs have always been happy and tired after a day or week stay. Prices and services are comparable to all the other local dog daycare/boarding businesses. The live webcam is a cool feature you would expect every business to have but many unfortunately don't!

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. It's WELL worth the investment, and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in your dog. Thank you Loyal Hound & Juliet!!

I just had a follow up…read moresession, 4 months after our off leash training, because I had gotten a little lax with one of my dogs since I have a 1 year old and things are hectic. Within 5 minutes we were able to re-establish the training methods that work and get Hope back on track with easy leash walking. I am so impressed with her concise easy to follow instructions. I am looking forward to taking my two Samoyeds on walks again while walking my toddler in a stroller without having to worry that Hope will pull us. Trained dogs are safe dogs and I'd pay for the training with Juliet 10x over. Worth every penny! It makes my life easier as a single mom managing all the things to have two dogs that get to enjoy being outside with us because I trust them and they trust me. Don't hesitate if you need help with your dog!

Providing a follow-up review after our off leash training with Randy at Diamond Dog Academy. We did…read morethe on-leash training with our dog Cheddar about a year ago and we couldn't believe the results. Cheddar would pull on the leash constantly and bolt any chance he could. A year later and we're almost done with off-leash training. Cheddar now comes back every single time without fail. This is a dog that would be halfway down the block if he slipped or broke his collar. We've also seen how much more confident and happy Cheddar is after his training. We can let him off knowing he will come back every time, and we're now even considering obedience competitions. We can't thank Randy enough for everything he's done for us.
