I thought all donut shops were essentially the same but this one really impressed me! The donuts are all generously sized, fresh, and delicious. Their twist donuts are the largest I've seen. And not sure how they do it, but the donuts don't have a lot of excess oil so they taste lighter and I don't end up feeling heavy from the grease. Prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend the apple fritter; it's MASSIVE and DELICIOUS and so worth it! It takes me a few days to finish one. Even my husband who never liked apple fritters his whole life changed his mind when he tried a piece that was 3 days old (trick if you heat it in the air fryer at 350 degrees for a 3-5 minutes it tastes just as good as new; the crispy caramelized edges are to die for). They put in just the right amount of apple so that it's subtle and doesn't overwhelm the fritter. read more

Selection of donuts isn't as much as other places, but they are good and tasty that taste really fresh. Got a dozen assorted for $18.50 and let the lady choose and she chose a variety of donuts. She's also always really nice and friendly. read more

They have good Carmel smoothie!! I got it, and it tastes like a Carmel ribbon crunch frap from Starbucks!!! Love it!! Lady there is super nice!!! Really great service!!! Place looks pretty clean, although they have a B for a cockroach infestation, I just try to ignore it and focus on the taste of my delicious smoothie. When it comes to donuts places I don't care about the sandwiches, smoothies, etc. I only care about the donuts. They're great here. When we do breakfast potlucks at work everyone asks me to bring KK Donuts because they like them so much. The lady always throws in some donut holes when I buy a dozen, so that's a plus. If you want a good mom and pop shop with friendly employees give them a shot. read more

Don't know why this place have a 4.5 star rating. Tried this place out this morning just before 7am and they only have a small selection of donuts, no blueberry, no ham & cheese. Just by the look of the donuts, they were not from today. I still decided to try them out and confirmed for myself that in fact they are not from today as they were sort of stale. Half a dozen cost $8.75. Gave the lady a $20 bill which she held up against the ceiling lights looking for the strip I suppose which was not a big deal. Gave me my change and donuts and as I was about to walk out, she grabs my $20 bill again checking it a second time against the lights. I guess they get lots of counterfeits in the area?! Who knows. Be careful with what they're charging you! I bought a few donuts and the guy told me it would be $6. Then I pulled out my credit card, once he saw my card he said "$7" so I gave him my card and he asked if I wanted the receipt. I said yes and when he brought me the receipt I was shocked when it said $7.25! When I asked him about it he IGNORED me and went to help another customer. Never coming back here! read more

KK Donuts is one of many Mom & Pop donut shops in the area. I have tried almost every one of them too. Would have to rate them as middle of the pack compared to all of them. Not the neatest shop. Lots of clutter when you stop and look around. That's fine with me as long as the donuts taste yummy. Service was good, and they sell lotto too. Both the Chocolate Buttermilk Bar and the Blueberry donut I ate were good. Could be a sign that their other choices are also okay. If the shop was cleaner, I would upgrade them to 4 stars. Either way, KK Donut Shop seems like a fine spot to satisfy one's sweet tooth. read more

Super cheap prices (1 dozen for $7.25) and incredibly fresh and delicious, always! I've been here 3 times now, pretty early in the morning and the owner now knows me and always gives me a little something extra. I took a dozen to work and my coworkers could not stop being amazed at how delicious they were. They have all the traditional flavors. My favorite is the old fashion ring and it never fails to impress me! I look forward to waking up at 4:30 in the morning to get my hands on KK's donuts! read more

It's on my way to work and provides a good coffee, donut, or lotto stop on the way. I've been coming here off and on for a few years now. The owner is really nice. He's there all the time. When I order a single donut, he'll throw in a few donut holes for free. The coffee is hot and fresh. This place even serves mochas, muffins, croissants, blended drinks, etc. I always go for just the old fashioned donuts (my favorite) and coffee. The donuts are fresh and taste good. They don't have that lard taste that some donut shops have in their products. So that's why this place keeps me coming back. The only down side is that this place doesn't have air conditioning, so when I went in the other morning (8:30 a.m.) it was already roasting. I have come to this donut shop a couple of times, it's a nice little store was pretty close to my volunteering hospital :-D The donuts are always delicious, the coffee is always fresh, and the plants always look cute. Unlike most other donut shops, the owner put little thoughts into store decorations. Small plants on the tables, cute kids' drawings on the wall... Love this unassuming little donut shop! Friendly service, run by a family, and they offer great breakfast items at such a low price. Breakfast is served all day; their egg/ham or sausage croissant are delicious and HUGE! My husband and I are foodies and had to share one. The donut variety is also impressive, and fresh. I tried their smoothies- they're good, and my husband likes their coffee. I saw the owners grind a fresh batch before making it. That makes a huge difference in taste and acidity, since it's not sitting all day. Overall, this is a great local find. Just stopped in while driving. The breakfast burrito with potatoes is amazing! Both salsa are really good, but the red one deserves special praise (it's an Asian hybrid salsa I think but so tasty). Im not even from these neck of the woods but I happen to be in the area for a funeral. I had some time to kill so I checked my yelp and at .2 miles kk was the one. as a fellow yelper I think it's important to give props to the mom and pop shops that really deserve it. there's something really special about finding a diamond in the rough :) I got here at 930 in the morning and I could tell that the donuts were freshly made. my chocolate bar melted in my mouth and the donut holes were nice and soft. While it was good, I guess I misread. So I decided to get the croissant egg, ham, and cheese sandwich. I saw a picture with avacado, but maybe they changed their menu. So I had to pay a 50¢ charge, which I'm perfectly fine with. But the thing that threw me off was that the avacado wasn't ripe. It was actually unripe. It was wasn't soft and the slices were super thin. Disappointed but the sandwich itself was good. Maybe opt out the avacado. Otherwise, it will do. read more
